Tom Barnes Surveyors レビュー

Professional service and provided an in depth report

Fab service, fast and thorough

I had an excellent experience with "Tom Barnes Surveyors" for my Level 3 property survey. They were incredibly professional, thorough, and detailed in their assessment. What really stood out was their quick response — from my initial inquiry to the final report, everything was handled promptly and efficiently. The report was clear, comprehensive, and easy to understand, giving me all the information I needed to make informed decisions. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient surveyor. Outstanding service from start to finish!

Highly recommended! A very detailed report and checked those areas I wanted to know about. Many recommendations and legal suggestions made throughly in the RICS 3 report. Tom is a great individual and would aid you in questions you may have so that you have no doubts. I will be using his services again shortly in the future. Thank you!!

They were able to get my survey booked in within a week, and provided a professional, detailed service for a competitive price. I initially enquired on a weekend evening whilst shopping around and I had a email response within 10 minutes! These guys are very responsive to questions, and the survey itself was highly detailed with nearly 100 pages for a level 2 survey, containing lots of photos and information to help me with my potential purchase. Tom called me on the day of the survey to give me a brief summary of his findings, which I found really helpful as I was concerned on any issues that might have cropped up. Overall, fantastic company and I highly recommend them for the Leicestershire area.

This is the second time I've used Tom Barnes Surveyors, and once again, I am thoroughly impressed with the excellent service provided. Tom’s efficiency and attention to detail when surveying properties are exceptional. On our previous occasion, his report highlighted multiple faults that ultimately saved us from proceeding with a problematic property.

Booking the survey was quick and straightforward, with the website being user-friendly and easy to navigate. Tom promptly coordinated with the agents and sellers, securing an appointment without delay. Following the survey, he provided a detailed phone call summarising the findings and explained technical details clearly.

The written report was delivered within 3 working days in an easy-to-read, colour-coordinated format, complete with photographs and well-considered recommendations. His thoroughness and professional approach gave us confidence in making informed decisions.

Thank you, Tom, for your outstanding service and dedication. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom Barnes Surveyors to anyone seeking a reliable and thorough property surveyor.

Tom carried out a Level 3 survey for a property we are looking to buy. The team were quick to get back with a quote and arranged a date with the estate agents.

Tom called straight after doing the survey to discuss the main points and the full report was available within 3 days.

He delivered a very detailed report. The after service was truly excellent, talking us through the report and even accepting a few follow up calls to additional queries we had, he provided guidance and found time to produce estimates for the identified faults in the report, which was extremely helpful.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone. The service, survey and after service were faultless.

I initially booked a house survey with Tom Barnes Surveyors because their quote stated availability within 3 to 5 working days. However, after payment, my survey was scheduled for more than 10 working days later.

After raising my concerns both by calling them and through Trustpilot, they promptly rescheduled my survey 5 working days earlier, which was a much better outcome. I appreciated their effort to address the issue.

Following the inspection, they took the time to call me and explain key findings in detail, which I found very helpful. A few days later, I received the full survey report, which contained a substantial amount of valuable information—far exceeding my expectations. This level of detail and professionalism ultimately left me impressed.

Despite the initial scheduling challenge, their responsiveness and the quality of their service convinced me to update my rating to 5 stars. I now feel confident in recommending them!

The company could not do enough for me and did everything they said they would do. I had plenty of questions following the survey and they were always on hand to answer them. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get a survey.

Great team, organising and carrying out our survey and delivering us the report all with in 10 days. Fab service. Thank you

Really easy to book, very competitive prices. The survey was really comprehensive, took place within a week, and the report followed a few days later.
Would definitely recommend.

TOM did a survey for 2 of the properties I was looking to buy. He helped me patiently to understand the reports and go through with all his findings. I would definitely recommend him to everyone in my contact. And yes not forgetting to mention he has the most compitative prices in market.

Very proffesional and prompt service.
The survey was supplied very quickly too and was of a very high standard

Tom did a very thorough and diligent survey, raising queries and was great to deal with. Despite there being some set backs on the vendor's side Tom remained professional and along with his, was excellent to deal with. Thanks.

Excellent service from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Complete analysis including recommendations provided. More thorough than expected, uploaded a lot of pictures to support their findings. They also called us and answered any questions we may have had. We inquired if we had any hopes to extend in the loft, they have provided honest answer mentioning that it would take more money than is worth, and it would just be easier to find a larger property if that is an important detail. Very happy with the service.

I chose Tom Barnes Surveyors based on their 5 * reviews and I wasn't disappointed. They were friendly efficient and provided a detailed report in good time.

Communicating with Tom's office was always great - friendly, efficient and helpful. Tom himself is the most thorough and responsible of surveyors, very much working on behalf of the client. He certainly goes the extra mile, is really responsive and offers the most comprehensive survey report and follow up. Sadly, I will be pulling out of the house purchase due to the potential property issues he has uncovered, and will certainly be asking for his help again!

I made contact with a lot of surveyors! Tom stood out because he was able to fit us in quickly, he promised we'd receive the full Level 3 Survey Report within 72 hours of his visit to the property, and he was extremely competitively priced. The only delay in the process was because I thought it was too good to be true and that made me hesitant to book! Tom more than delivered though and the report we received was very thorough. We spoke twice on the phone afterwards so I could talk through things I was unsure about. He was great!

I ordered a level 3 survey on a circa 1900 house. Price was very reasonable. Office staff were very helpful and courteous when booking the survey. Tom called immediately after inspection to share the major points with me, and then followed up soon afterwards with a very detailed and informative report. He also offered to answer any follow up questions/clarifications I had (though I didn't take him up on this). Overall great experience - thanks, Tom!
