I used Tom Barnes for our first home level 3 survey on a pre-1900 house. The level of detail was reassuring and Tom has been very helpful since with addressing issues with the house and how to tackle them. Price was one of the better ones from all the quotes I got too - I would definetly recommend this company.

Great price, but also best service. Extremely fast and efficient, very simple to get booked in, fast turnaround between booking and having the survey done and report issued. Then extremely helpful when questions asked afterwards about additional points. The report itself was very thorough and saved us money on the house as well as giving us piece of mind so all in all was well with doing and I'd recommend using Tom Barnes

Tom provided exceptional service from start to finish. He carried out desktop research prior to carrying out the survey which was very comprehensive and after the survey took place, he took the time to call the same day to discuss his findings with me before sending the report (which was received within 2 working days!). The entire process was efficient and transparent, and his professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. Tom is very prompt in responding any queries I had put forward. The whole thing of setting appointment and receiving the report is very convenient and thanks for the detailed report as well.

I have to say the level of detail and content of the report Tom has sent over is absolutely brilliant, this is exactly what I was hoping for when booking a Level 3 survey! Especially as this is a big investment for us and hopefully a house that we'll be living in for many years to come, Tom’s report has made us confident that the house has been thoroughly checked.

Overall FAB experience. Tom & team were very responsive in replying to messages, sorting out dates for surveys and keeping me updated throughout the whole process of booking a survey in, arriving for the survey & that the survey was completed.
Tom got in touch before the survey to ask for any major concerns to look out for, and even rang the same day of the survey to give a quick overview of findings before the full report! Only took 2-3 days for the report to come in, very detailed & highlighted all things needed - very handy for a first time buyer!
-Special circumstance in that after my first survey, i pulled out and when requested to use Tom for the second survey for a new house, he offered a discount fee - amazing customer service, would 100% recommend & use again if i move in the future!

Initial enquiry resulted in a personal telephone call. Signing up was easy. It was easy to log in to find the quote, the booking and the preparation of the survey report. A personal telephone call on the day the report was carried out which was very helpful. Everyone we dealt with were extremely helpful and friendly. Our surveyor gave us an incredibly detailed report and was approachable and eased any of our concerns.

Survey excellent and a very good call from Tom following the survey - clear advice, followed up by a thorough report. Very simple booking, but had a few issues with the back end system and confusion with the office team - seems IT needs updating.
