Customer service lacking and came at a premium
The shorts I ordered arrived eventually and are great.
Delivery from this shop was a rubbish experience. Paid £7 which is expensive compared to most competitors. When they didn't arrive on time (relatively long wait already, over a week) I emailed to ask what was going on but was told delivery wasn't guaranteed and that I should just check the tracking info, which told me nothing useful. They blamed quarantine measures for the wait (it's May 2025?) among other things and didn't even attempt to apologise. I then ended up with near 30 emails between them/Royal Mail/Spring GDS to update me on the very final stages of transit which was totally overkill.
If you can buy what you want elsewhere, I would. Customer service was rubbish and came at a premium. Not only that, when you come to review an item it states underneath that they will 'revise' the review before it gets published. How is this allowed?!

Katastrophale Firma. Gaukelt vor, dass aus der Schweiz versendet wird. Für Kletterschuhe zum Preis von Fr. 132.- musste ich zusätzlich Fr. 26.50 Zollkosten bezahlen. Das Paket kam aus den Niederlanden. Lieferfrist war ebenfalls viel länger als angekündigt. Ich bestelle dort nie mehr. Grenzt an Betrug.

I bought a climbing harness from TrekInn on 25 April 2025. The total for the order was £41.49 plus £7.50 postage. The parcel had an ETA of May 5. On May 6 I received notification from Royal Mail saying that the parcel had been returned to sender as the address on the parcel 'did not exist'. I checked my account settings on TrekInn and confirmed that my address was correct. So, if there was an error, it was not mine. I then contacted TrekInn to notify them of what had happened. They have told me that they will only refund my money when the parcel is received back at their depot. I pointed out that this is ridiculous, given that I never received the parcel and that it is clear from the tracking that the parcel is on its way back to TrekInn. They have told me repeatedly that this it their policy and they can't break their policies. I keep asking them what happens if they do not receive the parcel back at the depot. They keep ignoring me. As my refund seems predicated on TrekInn receiving the goods I am extremely concerned. What if it is one of their unbreakable policies to simply NOT refund me? Surely, if something is lost in the post and is not the fault of the customer, the seller has to refund the customer's money? Won't be buying from them again as it is too much of a risk.
I posted this review in another TrekInn review section - the reply from them said (worth reading because it is surreal):

I wish I had read reviews before ordering from this company. You would like to think companies like this cannot exist in business today and hope they will close down soon as they are absolut SCAM stay away from them. Was just about to return my walking shoes that came looking off and chanky nothing like on the picture but the return label is £11.49 !!!!
Who charges that much for the return?!! Most decent companies have even free return. Then I reminded my husband ordered from them years ago (must be them) he even had to pay extra in the post office!!!
What a bunch of worthless customer service they got too - it is all automated and never will be able to talk to a real person!

Trekinn are a joke
Ordered a pair of walking shoes. A delivery was given then changed without notification. Another date given then changed again without notification. Finally received a Royal Mail email stating parcel would arrive date changed then changed again followed by the Royal Mail saying they cannot read the delivery address so will return to sender. 7 weeks after my order contacted customer service at Trekinn ai saying they will refund me only when they receive the shies back in there warehouse.
This company are poorly run do not order anything from them. All I wanted was a pair of shoes so now now out of pocket and no shoes. NOT HAPPY

Jeg ved ikke, hvorfor jeg altid glemmer at læse anmeldelser på Trustpilot, men endnu engang må jeg erkende, at jeg skulle have læst skriften på væggen, for jeg er vist ikke den eneste med det her propblem.
Pakken var estimeret til at komme mellem 5. og 6. marts, men ankommer først i dag, d. 10 (eller, nu må vi se om den dukker op).
Det er sådan set fint nok med leveringstid på 9 dage, bare de havde været ærlige fra start, så jeg kunne have købt den et andet sted.
Da jeg klagede til firmaet, sagde de, at jeg skulle rette henvendelse til GLS. De modtog dog (jf. pakkesporing) først ordren d. 6/3, hvilket stod til at være leveringsdatoen.
Håber varerne er i orden. Og tror jeg går tilbage til at købe i fysiske butikker, når jeg kan.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, aber meine Erfahrung mit Trek Inn war absolut katastrophal. Die Website sieht zwar nett aus, aber der Service lässt alles zu wünschen übrig. Zunächst einmal war die Lieferung meiner Bestellung viel langsamer als versprochen. Ich musste mehrmals nachhaken, bevor überhaupt eine Antwort kam, und als die Ware endlich ankam, war sie in einem desolaten Zustand – Verpackung völlig zerknittert, und ein Produkt war beschädigt.
Was mich jedoch am meisten enttäuschte, war die Kundenbetreuung. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten unfreundlich und desinteressiert. Anstatt mir bei meinem Problem zu helfen, wurde ich einfach von einem zum anderen weitergereicht, ohne dass irgendjemand wirklich Verantwortung übernommen hat. Rücksendungen wurden erst nach unzähligen E-Mails und Wochen der Wartezeit bearbeitet.
Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen Anbieter bist, der seine Versprechen hält, dann solltest du Trek Inn auf jeden Fall meiden. Es gibt genügend andere Outdoor-Shops, die ihre Kunden wirklich schätzen.

Hopeless. Took over a fortnight to arrive, after charging £6 for the delivery. Too slow for us, and now they want £11 to return the useless items. Fork that.

I received my order during the time frame promised. So far so good. Then I contacted them due to a mark on the front of a beige skirt. In order to avoid the return process, I contacted customer service asking if I could try a spot removal first. Received a reply which didn't address my question, so I tried again ..... same thing. Then I started reading the reviews. I wouldn't have even placed the order knowing what I know now. Obviously a bot on the customer service desk. Anyway, just wanted to thank all of you for taking the time to write your reviews. I've decided to keep the garment as I would rather light myself on fire than to begin the return process. I feel fortunate to have twice dodged a bullet :)

First the good. Great range of products.
Now the bad. Misrepresentation of products, complicated expensive returns, shipping charges even when you have spent more than £100! I ordered some shorts and I went by how they were presented on their website on the model. However when they arrived they were much shorter than on the model like about 4 inches or more! They were not the same shorts as advertised. They were the same brand Trangoworld, but a different version of the shorts than advertised. When I tried to return them after explaining in great detail twice, I was told they were the correct ones sent etc, (lies!) and it was £10.99 to return them. I was not happy about this, but I have returned them as they were totally unsuitable for me.
Nooit meer bestellen - comunnicatie is slecht
Leki dure wandelstokken besteld. Binnen 1 jaar1 stok gebroken terwijl we jaren daarvoor andere leki wandelstokken hebben gehad en nooit problemen mee gehad. Gemeld bij de webwinkel, en die wijzen de claim af omdat wij de stokken ondeugdelijk zouden hebben gebruikt.
Met deze mededeling kwam de customer service afdeling 2 maanden nadat het gemeld was en meerdere keren informatie was afgegeven. De communicatie is zeer slecht, je moet overal om vragen, ze geven geen antwoord op vragen die je stelt, het duurt lang etc.
Buiten hun manier van denken dat de garantie niet meer van kracht is en de zeer slechte communicatie ben ik een klant en doen ze niets om je te helpen. Ze wijzen alle verantwoordelijkheid af.
Kortom, ik ga hier NOOIT meer iets bestellen, dat is wel duidelijk.

Ik was gezien de slechte reviews beetje angstig om hier te bestellen. Maar de broek die ik wil is in Nederland niet meer verkrijgbaar. Zeer blij dat ik het gedaan heb. Prijs-kwaliteit zeer goed, duidelijke omschrijving en makkelijk te bestellen. Duurde wat lang dat in Nederland was 14 dagen maar dat ligt meer bij post.nl dan bij trekinn. Ik ga hier meer bestellen

Muy mala experiencia. Te envían un producto que no se corresponde con el ofrecido en la web y te contestan un correo modelo en el que te dicen que para devolverlo tienes que pagar la etiqueta de devolución, o sea, pagar los costes de envío de la devolución.
Eso es contrario a la ley de consumidores, con lo cual tendremos que reclamar ante la autoridad administrativa, no queda más remedio. ACONSEJO NO COMPRAR POR LA WEB.

Bestelde artikelen dan toch niet in voorraad maar het geld gaat wel meteen van je rekening. Bestelling moet je aanpassen maar het verschil storten ze je niet terug. Niet correct dus. Meer dan maand ussen bestelling en ontvangst goederen.
