In februari hebben we het voorrecht gehad een TukTuk te huren bij TukTukrental, en we kregen een gloednieuwe Tuk! Wat een fantastische ervaring was dat! We hebben volop genoten van de vrijheid, de olifanten op de B35, alle lachende, zwaaidende mensen en het plezier van het rijden. De service was uitstekend, met een informatieve en tegelijkertijd gezellige uitleg. Het was simpelweg een geweldige ervaring die we iedereen aanraden!

We hebben 21 dagen door Sri Lanka getoerd in “onze” tuktuk 🛺 en hebben enorm genoten! De grootste uitdaging was om te wennen aan het chaotische verkeer, maar na twee dagen voelde het al als de normaalste zaak van de wereld. Wat een vrijheid en vooral blijheid als je met een tuktuk reist! We kregen een gloednieuwe tuktuk mee en hebben geen enkel probleem gehad. De service van tuktukrental.com was fantastisch. Van begin tot eind waren ze duidelijk, aardig en behulpzaam. Een top-organisatie!

A very efficient company and yet also very relaxed. Easy to book, honest people and incredibly helpful when things go a little wrong, which they do of course when you rent 5 tuks for 6 days in Cambodia. I can highly recommend this company. Great fun.

Just finished our 19 day rental of a Tuk Tuk with tuktukrental.com in Sri Lanka and words cannot describe the adventure this offers! We had the most amazing time, a great lesson to introduce us to the Tuk Tuk then set off from the busy streets of Colombo to the hairpin loops on Ella, down to the open roads of Yala (having to bypass an elephant or two) and down the sunny south coast to Galle! The company organised everything tremendously! They even picked our Tuk Tuk up for us whilst we did the train journey! In my opinion there is no other way to discover this beautiful country! All the locals are very helpful with your Tuk Tuk if you need it, but ours was very reliable and we had no problems and the team are a phone call away when you are making silly mistakes like trying to start the engine in 1st gear! Oops! Highly reccomend to anyone looking to travel in style and with freedom! You will not be disappointed. It’s also very very safe!

Driving the tuk tuk ourselves was truly one of the highlights of the trip. It gave us a great sense of freedom and a much more authentic way to explore the city. Fun, unique, and unforgettable.

We participated in the Tuk Tuk Tournament 2025 , driving our Tuk Tuk through Cambodia with 30 other Tuk Tuk teams and it was so so cool ! I never thought we would see so much of friendly , smiley, beautiful Cambodia riding around through towns , villages and remote landscapes . The support that Tuktukrental supplied throughout the tournament was great and we were never worried even though we were often far away from villages. We were always greeted with smiles from Cambodians who loved us driving a local vehicle . Thank you Tuktukrental.com for providing us with a chance see a country from such a different perspective !!

Found this place when I could not rent a car in Cambodia. So glad we did. Much easier in Siem Reap, and Ankor Wat. OK, so there's no air-conditioning and you need to be adventurous. The reward is con tact with locals, mobility and freedom. The Tuk-Tuk was not brand new and that is a plus. You get a quick course and you're off exploring. Deposit was refunded as promised within 2 weeks. Great experience.

I had an amazing experience with tuktuk rental. The price was a little higher than the rest of the renting companies, but absolutely worth it.

They arange everything, from insurance to permit. I also got in a little scrape with another car and they fixed everyting within 10 minutes so that I could continue my journey.

They respond very fast and have a western mindset, so everything is taken care of, you get the information you actually need.

I loved this journey in Sri Lanka and thinking about doing the same in Cambodia with this company.

I would highly recommend this place, but only if you are in for a real adventure.

I wish I could leave more then 5 Stars. We had an excellent experience with tuktukrental. We rented a Tuktuk for 5 weeks and traveled all around Sri Lanka. We drove 2282 kilometres.
The communication with the company is very quick.
Our first tuktuk had an oil leek and the same day we had a replacement. A brand new Tuktuk.
We had a very good driving lesson before we went on the road on our own. Thank you so much for making our holiday unforgettable.

2 weken geleden samen met mijn vriendin ruim 3.5 week met de tuktuk door Sri Lanka gecrosst! Wat een ervaring. Ja het TukTuk rijden is heel even spannend maar je went snel aan het verkeer en aan het voertuig. TukTuk rental staat ieder moment voor je klaar om te helpen waar en wanneer nodig! We stonden een dag met pech langs de weg en meteen schoten ze in de regel stand en ontzorgde ze ons zo snel mogelijk. Heel fijn!

Bij terugkomst ook geen problemen met het inleveren of iets dergelijks, daar hadden we wel eens wat slechte ervaringen over gehoord maar na een check van het voertuig kregen we netjes alle borg terug en liepen we met een geweldige ervaring de deur uit

Tuktukrental.com ist ein sympathisches Unternehmen, die Philosophie sozial und fair, die Kommunikation angenehm:
Man hat das Gefühl, man ist unter Freunden.
Wenn etwas schwierig ist, dann bekommt man schnell Unterstützung über WhatsApp oder Telefon.
Das Fahrzeug war gut gecheckt, und die Fahrschule für
den Führerschein war streng, aber hilfreich, (Danke, Emilda!)
Ein kritischer Punkt war der Verlust der Fahrzeugpapiere durch uns:
Als wir erfuhren, dass TTR 100$ für die Wiederbeschaffung berechnet, waren wir irritiert über die Höhe des Betrages.
Ein konstruktives Gespräch wurde geführt, TTR will künftig schon zu Beginn auf den Verlustfall hinweisen, wir selbst werden nächstes Mal die Papiere bei den Pässen deponieren, wo sie sicher sind (und nicht mehr am Schlüsselbund)
Ein Unternehmen zeichnet sich auch aus in schwierigen Situationen, und das hat bei TTR funktioniert.
Wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal.

We rented a Tuk tuk in Cambodia for just under 3 weeks and what a great decision it was!!
We had a totally great time and the team we rented from were on the hand to help us with any difficulties.
Having the tuk tuk gave us so much freedom and fun to follow our own path around Cambodia,2500 km later we are missing it so much!
We will definitely be tuk tukking again probably in Sri Lanka next.

Une expérience incroyable de louer son propre Tuktuk, l'agence est de très bons conseils et une équipe est disponible tout au long de la location : nous avons eu un petit souci mécanique et ils sont intervenus très rapidement.

La gentillesse du personnel est exceptionnelle. Découvrir le Cambodge en Tuktuk est un voyage au plus proche des Cambodgiens et nous donne la liberté d'aller dans des endroits moins touristiques.

Unfortunately an awful customer service and experience provided from tuktukrental.com. I rented a tuk tuk for 4 days in Sri Lanka from the 5th to the 8th of January 2025 and on the 24th of January as I write this review I still haven't received my $150 deposit for the tuk tuk back, despite having no deductions or damage.

I have contacted them multiple times across their available communication channels, and they have not responded to me. Still waiting to get my money back so I cannot recommend them and I'm worried about getting the money back at all now given the length of time that has passed.

i never thought i will have such an amazing experience by driving a Tuktuk but Tuktukrental team they made this true , they are organized , friendly and professional thanks for everyone who was part of that.
