Dear Cynthia,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are deeply sorry to hear about the incredibly difficult medical emergency your family and your nephew have been facing. We understand that personal health and family must always come first.

We would like to clarify the details regarding your purchase and the subsequent dispute. The $34.99 payment was for the "Course Toolkits," which include downloadable webinar slides, summary notes, and bonus video content. As these are digital assets that are made available for immediate download upon purchase, our policy—as outlined at the time of transaction—states that these materials are non-refundable once access is provided.

Regarding the billing dispute, when a chargeback is initiated, we are required to provide the financial institution with the relevant documentation, including the sign-up records and evidence of digital fulfillment. In this case, the bank reviewed the provided evidence and concluded that the transaction was valid and the digital goods were delivered as described, which resulted in the charge being maintained. We cannot dispute the transaction from our side.

While we understand that you have not had the opportunity to utilize the materials due to your current circumstances, they remain available on your account for whenever you are able to return to your studies. We wish your nephew a steady recovery during this challenging time.

Dear Louis,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to address the points you've raised regarding your experience and our policies.

Regarding the course access, we would like to clarify that our "Lifetime Standard" membership provides comprehensive access to our primary professional library and faculty benefits. The specialized AI courses are also available for you to access in your account.

In terms of our refund policy, while we do outline a 14-day window in certain contexts, our terms—which are agreed upon at the time of purchase—state: "You acknowledge that you do not have a right to change your mind in respect of one-off purchase of digital content where we have provided, or started to provide, you with access to the relevant digital content." (Section 11, https://www.upskillist.com/terms/).

As a digital service provider, our fulfillment is automated. The moment your upgrade was processed, full lifetime benefits were activated and made available to you. Per our terms, once this digital content is delivered, we are unable to process a monetary refund.

We would like to resolve this by ensuring you have the exact learning materials you signed up for. Please reach out to our support team directly if you have any further questions.

Hello Andre,

Thank you so much for the fantastic feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you are having such an "amazing experience" and that you’ve already gained so much knowledge halfway through your journey.

It’s great to see that the detailed explanations and resources are hitting the mark for you. We aim to go beyond the basics to ensure our students feel truly confident in their new skills.

Comprehensive Resources: We’re glad the extra materials are helping reinforce what you’ve learned in the lessons.

Continued Momentum: Being eager to "start learning again" is the best mindset for success. That drive is exactly what helps our students complete their diplomas and reach their career goals.

Since you are at the halfway point, you’ve already built a solid foundation! The second half of the course often dives into even more practical applications, so you have a lot to look forward to.

Hello Francine,

Thank you for providing such detailed and constructive feedback regarding our Nutrition course. We genuinely value students who engage deeply with the material, and we appreciate you pointing out these specific discrepancies.

We take your concerns regarding technical terminology and data accuracy very seriously.

Auditing Process: We aim for total alignment between our audio narration and visual slides. We have noted your feedback regarding the BMI formula and the "liters of blood" assignment question and have passed these details to our Academic Quality Team for an immediate audit and correction.

Terminology: Our narrators are selected for clarity, but we understand that in medical and nutritional fields, precise pronunciation is vital. We are currently reviewing our audio files to ensure that terminology is handled with the expertise our students expect.

Regarding the closed captioning, we understand how a "miss-translation" of an accent can be distracting. You actually do have the ability to disable this feature:

How to Turn Off Captions: While the video is playing, please look at the bottom right corner of the video player. You will see a small "CC" icon. Clicking this will allow you to toggle the subtitles off immediately.

It is encouraging to hear that you find the core of the course interesting, and we are committed to ensuring the presentation matches the quality of the information. Feedback like yours is essential for our evolution as a learning platform.

It is fantastic that you are using this time to tap into new subjects. Data Analytics is a cornerstone of the modern job market, and expanding your expertise in this area is a brilliant way to stand out to potential employers.

Detailed Curriculum: We strive to keep our courses "neat and detailed" so that complex topics like data interpretation and visualization are easy to grasp.

Dear Werner,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you found our training materials and resources to be of high quality.

To clarify our certification process, we provide full access to all video lessons and educational content for free during your subscription or promotional period. This ensures that the knowledge and skills are accessible to everyone.

The official certificates are considered premium add-ons. The fee associated with the certificate covers the administrative costs of verification, the secure hosting of your professional records, and the ability to download or share your digital credentials at any time.

We appreciate your perspective, as it helps us understand how to better communicate our model to our students. We hope the knowledge you gained in your course proves valuable in your professional journey.

Dear Krunal,

Thank you for your follow-up review. We have noted your additional concerns regarding the transparency of our Lifetime membership and the technical issues you’ve encountered.

To provide further clarity on the points raised:

1. AI Course Methodology
Our ChatGPT and AI-focused courses are intentionally built using AI technology—including avatars and synthetic voiceovers—to demonstrate the real-world application of the tools being taught. While this format differs from our human-led courses (like Photography or Marketing), it is designed to showcase the current capabilities of AI content generation.

2. Lifetime Standard vs. Unlimited
We would like to clarify the structure of our Lifetime memberships to address your concern about "locked" materials:

Lifetime Standard: This tier provides unlimited access to view and complete all video lessons across our entire library for life.

Lifetime Unlimited: This premium tier includes everything in Standard plus all downloadable PDF toolkits and official certificates. The materials you are seeing as locked are the downloadable PDFs, which are an exclusive feature of the Unlimited tier.

3. Technical Performance
We sincerely apologize for the lack of progress tracking on your iPad. As previously mentioned, our technical team is investigating this bug specifically for mobile Safari users. In the meantime, we recommend trying a different browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) to see if your progress saves more effectively.

4. Refund Policy
Our refund policy is in place to ensure fair usage of our digital content. As your request fell outside the standard 14-day window and the digital "Lifetime" access had already been fully provisioned to your account, we are unable to deactivate the membership or process a refund.

We understand your disappointment that the AI courses did not meet your specific learning style. However, your lifetime access remains active for all other faculties on our platform, many of which feature the real-world tutors and practical demos you are looking for.

Hello Simon,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that transparency regarding legitimacy and security is vital when choosing an online learning platform. We would like to provide some clarity to help you feel more secure in your decision.

Legitimacy and Recognition:

Independent Accreditation: Our courses are independently accredited by Upskillist. While we are not a university and do not offer government-regulated degrees (like Ofqual or NQF), our diplomas are professional credentials designed to demonstrate job-ready skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Global Community: We have supported millions of students worldwide in gaining practical knowledge in fields like Photography, Digital Marketing, and Graphic Design. You can find many of our alumni sharing their certificates and success stories on professional networks like LinkedIn.

Focus on Practical Skills: Our primary goal is to provide high-quality, accessible education that gives you the practical tools needed for personal growth or to enhance your CV in a competitive job market.

Payment Safety and Security:

Secure Transactions: Our platform uses industry-standard encryption (SSL) to ensure that your payment information is handled securely. We partner with established global payment gateways to process transactions safely.

Transparent Costs: We strive to make all optional costs (such as certificates or premium materials) clear. As a reminder, you can often complete the learning portion of our courses for free or as part of a trial without being required to make a purchase unless you want the formal documentation.

If you have any doubts, we encourage you to continue engaging with the free lessons first. This allows you to experience the quality of our teaching and the ease of our platform without any financial commitment.

We hope this information helps you feel more confident in continuing your studies with us!

Hello Pamela,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely value your perspective as a Safelink customer, and we sincerely apologize if the structure of our offer felt misleading. It is never our intention to "dash the hopes" of our students, especially those looking to improve their circumstances through education.

We would like to clarify how the Safelink 60-day premium subscription is designed to work:

Mandatory vs. Optional: The core learning experience—including all video lessons, interactive webinars, and assessments—is completely free for the duration of your subscription.

Course Materials: While the downloadable PDF lesson slides and summary notes are priced at $35, they are entirely optional. You do not need to purchase these to attend the classes or finish the curriculum.

Certifications: Similarly, the official certificate (usually $35 per course) is an optional add-on for those who require formal documentation.

You can absolutely complete your chosen course and gain all the knowledge offered without spending a single cent. Our goal is to ensure that financial barriers do not stop you from accessing the information you need to advance your skills. Many of our students choose to take notes during the videos rather than purchasing the PDF materials to keep the experience free of charge.

Because we want to help get your studies back on track, please check your email inbox. We have sent a small "free gift" your way to assist with your learning journey and help remove some of the barriers you mentioned.

We hope you will reconsider giving the course a try, as the information provided can still be a powerful tool for your professional growth.
