After filling out the details online I then had to repeat everything over the phone which was more than a little tedious, I haven’t needed to do that for years. The tech and app worked well. The guy on the phone was patient and polite.

AVOID. Absolute nightmare company. Original quote was ok, however I had put down I was driving 14 years when in actual fact it was 13 years. That 1 year difference apparently meant my monthly cost was going to go up from £65 original quote a month to £85?! Make that make sense. When we tried to cancel, it was an absolute nightmare and they don't take no for an answer. Since then they've clearly sold our mobile numbers on as we are getting constant spam calls day in and day out. Took ages to get our initial deposit money back as well. Wouldn't use them again. Managed to get insurance from Aviva directly for £45 (£20 less a month than the original quote)

Simple on line process but then had to follow up on telephone and go through the entire process again. It would be more straightforward if this was made obvious from the outset.

Just purchased a policy to cover me for a new business, put my occupation in that I'll be doing full time. Want to start a handyman business in my time off. Covering me and partner for social, domestic and pleasure just in case. Selected Haulage as this was higher cover than your own tools / services option. I put in that I work in retail, selected haulage as maybe want to do the occasional delivery as well. Still seemed a little steep at £1200 but I'm new to this so thought it doesn't seem too bad and went for it. Then as others have said, got messages, we need you to call to confirm details etc. As soon as I said I wanted to potentially do deliveries for my full time work.... Oh no that's wrong then it'll need re-pricing, came back £2200+. So then I said well it's OK, just remove the haulage then (baring in mind I'd quoted both prior to accepting and own tools and services option was around £1000), they still wanted to increase the premium for this option as well. Guy I spoke to then went away again and came back that another insurer has agreed own tools and services for the same price as was quoted... I feel fleeced, they've just tried to move the goal posts after already accepting the policy, and taking my money. Absolutely shocking behaviour and I will never use this company again.
