After installation we discovered 1 blocking bug and 1 missing feature. I do not recommend buying it .

Regarding your first request about allowing multiple groups to book the same slot while still enforcing a minimum number of tickets per person: unfortunately, Amelia does not currently have an option to manage this scenario. The system is designed so that once the minimum booking requirement is met for a slot, it may close to additional bookings. There isn’t a built-in workaround to allow multiple groups to share the same slot while maintaining the minimum per-person rule.

Concerning the Mollie payment issue you reported, we have noted this problem. We understand that certain payment methods, like Bancontact, are not appearing during your tests, and that it happens consistently. This issue has been logged and will be addressed in a future update to ensure all available payment methods function correctly during the booking process.

We appreciate your patience while these matters are being resolved.

I have been using Amelia Pro for a few months now and it is a great plugin offering quite a bit of functionality.

For me it was really important to have events & appointments in one plugin as well as the possibility of a lifetime licence rather than subscriptions models.

The plugin has some quirks and missing features (event tickets & dedicated pages per event rather than popups …), but the support has always been helpful and dedicated to fix any issues I’ve run into.

I’ve been using Amelia for the past couple of years or so and overall I’ve been pleased. As a non-tech person I have - for the most part - been able to follow the instructions provided and do everything I’ve needed to do myself. It has good integrations built in so I’m able to automate most tasks I need. There was a recent significant update to the plug-in that broke the service for me. Again being a non-tech person I just decided to hire somebody to fix it back for me, so that all was not great. What I will say, however, is the customer service I got through all of it – which was a lot there was a lot of back-and-forth – remained excellent. They are on a very different time zone from me so I just have to leave a message in the ticket system and then wait generally the next day for the reply. So that would be my one hope is they are able to expand their customer service hours. But the Customer Service rep stayed patient and kept working with me through all of the various problems until we got everything resolved. Overall, the Amelia plug-in has worked quite well for me.

I like the plugin however I find the support very slow and not helpful. On the issues I have had in the past, it takes multiple to-ing and fro-ing to get anywhere.

Great functions for reasonable price, highly recommend!

I really love this simple yet powerful booking tool. I picked it up on AppSumo and it really has been a bargain. I have used it for several years now and even though the AppSumo deal has gone, I still get my regular updates. On top of that I recently had an issue with the Outlook calendar connection and support were extremely helpful and didn’t give up until my issue was resolved.

Amelia Technical Support is the best, Stefan explained me fast conflict about roles in amelia, he log in my account and fix it in 20 minutes :) 10/10

Seriously, the best ever booking plugin. A lot of features and possibilities for my coaching appointments. I have bought Amelia booking in 2020 and this is really helpful and useful. I discover new feature every time in the plugin. I have it for all my services, which are very different and that works for all of them. Meanwhile, the support is excellent and very quick. I love to be specific and put some screenshots so the support team don't struggle in understanding my issues. Thanks to Amelia :)

I initially had a technical issue that made it hard for me to appreciate Amelia. I reached out to the support team, and I was honestly impressed — they were extremely professional, fast, and efficient. I gave them temporary access to my WordPress dashboard, and they went in and solved everything on their own. I didn’t have to do anything.

This level of hands-on support is rare and really made the difference. Thanks to their help, I can now fully enjoy the plugin. Highly recommended!

I have been a long time user of the Amelia Booking plugin for my small business. For my needs the plugin works very well and user support has been great. Normally, problems are solved within 1-2 days.

We’ve been a premium Amelia customer for multiple WordPress platforms, trusting their plugin to manage thousands of appointments across our energy advisory services.
Unfortunately, the Outlook calendar integration has been broken for over two weeks, since the deployment of a new version leading to:
Duplicate and ghost appointments remaining in Outlook after cancellation.
Appointments overwritten with the wrong customer details.
Advisors seeing multiple conflicting bookings, risking missed or duplicate appointments.
Despite repeated requests, no clear resolution or escalation has been provided. Their support acknowledged the issue but has only suggested basic troubleshooting steps, despite us:
Sharing full admin access.
Reconnecting Outlook integrations.
Resetting the entire Microsoft App Registration.
Aligning time zones across all systems.
This is not an isolated case. The bug affects multiple websites and business units and has a direct negative impact on our day-to-day operations.
⚠️ We cannot recommend Amelia for Outlook-based organizations until this critical sync issue is acknowledged, fixed, and properly tested.
We hope the Amelia team takes this feedback seriously and finally provides a clear resolution and improved support process.

22-08-2025:
Initially, we had a serious issue that took far too long to resolve - almost two months, with a lot of back and forth and little progress. This caused operational headaches for us.

However, after escalation and direct involvement from Aleksandar at Amelia, the problem was finally fixed (although the exact casue remains a mystery), and the communication at the end was much better. I appreciate the transparency about what went wrong on their side and the changes they’ve implemented to prevent similar delays in the future.

I’m updating this review to reflect that the issue is now resolved and that their support process seems to have improved.

It is a truly excellent application designed for all kinds of appointment requests. I recommend it a thousand percent. I have been using it for my wellness and beauty salon for years. They respond immediately for all kinds of support.

Excellent booking plugin with a bright future

The plugin does exactly what you'd expect it to do.
Enabling bookings on a website and dealing with all the associated issues are very complex. There are still some aspects missing that deserve to be managed directly within Amelia, but I know this is already in the pipeline.
As the plugin is open to customizations in general and integrations with Woocommerce, for example, it's possible to create a complete and complex environment to meet almost any requirement.

Developer support is responsive and takes the time to research solutions with you, which is a huge plus.

Another plus is the price, which is very reasonable for what you can do with the plugin. Compared to the competition, who often charge very high prices for a product of mediocre quality.

I'd simply recommend Amélia: it works well, and it's possible to integrate with complex issues.

The set-up is very complicated, and takes really long. While they offer you a 15 day money back guarantee if you have a fairly complex business with multiple branches it can take longer than 15 days just to set it up and at that point you haven’t even started using it to see if it’s going to work but then you have paid for a year… so whether it works or not you have invested for a year. On the pro plan you get support but it takes long from them to respond meaning the project stalls while you wait. It seems the Amelia Manager functionality is tied to the Wordpress Admin functionality. I have 7 branches all with branch managers. Now to give them proper admin access I have to give each of them full admin access to my Wordpress dashboard which is extremely risky. You cannot seem to set Amelia Manager access at the branch level either meaning all managers have full admin access to all locations….. again high risk. Appointments save on the front end but can’t get them to save on the backend. As soon as you get one element working, and element that was working suddenly stops. All in all I have found it a frustrating system to try set up.

Amelia started off as a great booking plugin, but I've experienced ongoing issues where customers can book without being charged the required deposit — even when events are set to online payment only. Despite sharing detailed evidence, support repeatedly told me they couldn’t replicate the issue and offered no real solution. This has led to lost income, no-shows, and hours of extra work. Very disappointing support for a paid plugin.
