Hi my name is Tony, from the UK. On the 18th January I attended prague to have trifocal lenses implanted. The company beauty in Prague sorted it from beginning to end. I have nothing but praise for their professionalism. The operation was completed as described and without any discomfort. The results are spectacular and as promised. If you are considering having your vision corrected at a reasonable price I recommend beauty in Prague.

I’m going to try and keep it short.. I never write reviews, but I feel like I need to protect more people (since I’m a medical professional too!). Back not so long ago, I thought of correcting my septum (I had an accident in a younger age) since it was slightly deviated and it was causing breathing problems while sleeping and sinusitis issues. The appearance of it was fine you couldnt tell (happy to show pictures), I actually received compliments through the years as I look good in general. I stupidly thought that, since I’m doing this, I may as well correct the appearance of it slightly too but nothing too small or feminine, I liked my nose. I did my research to have it abroad as it is cheaper (and it could possibly be better I thought), and Beauty in Prague came up with good reviews. Fairly easy to book it, went there, had my consultation, nurses at the preadmission seemed nice, met the consultant, he wasnt saying much, he was just agreeing with everything I said. Had the surgery 2days later, woke up, felt like DEATH. The nurse who looked after me didnt speak any english (how is that possible???) and while I panicked and I was saying that I couldnt breath, she couldnt understand me. It might have been me panicking yes, but also it could have been ANYTHING else since I just woke up from the anaesthetic and the surgery, a complication of it or whatever. Thats when I realised that I’m alone in this and I have to get over whatever I had. Night shift nurse was nicer and spoke a bit of english which it was a releve. Discharged 2 days later, I was feeling so ill, stayed in Prague for a week because I had to go on my last day to have the stitches removed. The surgeon looked at me, said it looked great (I looked horrible but obviously I was swelled up so understandable.). Back to the UK, recovered, 3 months later I saw a big decline and curve on my nose that never existed before. Contacted the clinic with pictures and they said it that surgeon says its normal. 6months into this, it looked worse, they said surgeon said its fine. A year later, realising there is definitely something wrong, I booked an appointment to see an ENT and plastic surgeon here in the UK. They both worked at my hospital, so there was no reason lying to me or try to persuade me to have another surgery with them. Both confirmed that they ruined my nose, they UNNECESSARILY filed the bridge of my nose (I bearely had any) and removed a lot of cartilage from the tip, so there was no support for my nose and it was only going to get worse. So, I went from not really a septum or nose job at all to require a full reconstructive nose surgery (again, I have many pictures to prove this for anyone who is in doubt). I immediately contacted the Beauty in Prague clinic explaining the whole thing. After ages, the replied saying that “ahh maybe u need a revision surgery but no guarantee of results and MAYBE free”. I was so dissapointed and sad, I STUPIDLY didnt even bother replying or suing or complaining, I’m just not that type of person. I immediately booked one of the best surgeons in the UK (in Manchester), paid 2,5times more (still fairly cheap, its just that the Prague one was crazy cheap) and he reassured me that he will do his best and that there is hope for me. Done, all went well, recovering now for more than a year and looking great and very natural, almost identical to the original one minus the breathing issues! You want to know why? You might need to pay more in the UK, but at least there are guidelines and protocols in place in the UK. Way safer and more effective. And this comes from someone that works as a healthcare professional and UK is not even my country of origin. I have all the emails and proof from our conversations so dont even try to claim that this is not true. Thanks for reading, and happy to recommend the surgeon that has done mine to anyone in need ;)

Really happy with the result!
I am totally independent from lenses and glasses, and the whole process- from correspondence in advance, to surgery and postoperative control - was super.
I would have liked more straight forward payment-policy - and not that the clinic operated with it’s own currency-rate. But when the end is as good as it is, I am happy anyway.
And special thanks to Beth and others for impeccable and warm reception.

I was a little nervous having eye surgery in Prague, but from the first point of contact i was put at ease and this continued throughout the whole procedure. Communication was fantastic and as promised i was met at the airport and taken to my hotel, I was then collected and taken for my consultation where everything was explained ready for surgery. On the day of my lense replacement I was once again collected and taken to have the surgery done, Communication was great everything was explained and I was put at ease, the lense replacement was not uncomfortable at all and surprisingly very quick, I actually walked back to the hotel after as I felt fine. I can't thank Beth enough, she really looked after me and made sure I was ok with everything. I would highly recommend beauty in prague.

From booking the appointment to the final check up I felt completely looked after, and informed of everything that was happening. I was helped suggestions of accommodations, and picked up and dropped off from the airport and for appointments. Apart from about twenty minutes of discomfort during the actual Operation, everything was straight forward and painless.
After the Operation, I was dropped back at the Hotel, and decided that the best thing was to take a paracetamol and lie down for a few hours. When I woke up I was without pain, and could read the smallest of writing without my glasses, which felt good and strange.
I have recommended this surgery to two friends and my Wife since I got home, and would recommend it to others.

Had lens replacement surgery, arranged by Beauty in Prague, have to say they were brilliant, always responded to emails immediately and were so helpful. Beth was great at the clinic and when she could see I was nervous, chatted with me and helped me stay calm. Can't rate them highly enough.

I came to Prague for a lens replacement based on a friend recommendation and because the cost was half the uk price.
The Beauty in Prague facility was clean and appeared very modern and professional with a large number of eye scanning units to go through before the operation.
The staff were efficient and helpful at all times and my coordinater Beth was a charming girl who was at all times helpful and organised taxis etc. that were always on time.

Researched this clinic after being diagnosed that I had cataracts, the reviews seemed really positive so decided to put my trust in them.
Oh my goodness did I do the right thing, from the moment of contact to the moment I left to fly home I couldn’t have been in better hands.
The clinic ran like a Swiss watch, the staff where consummate professionals from the receptionist to the surgeon that preformed the operation, the cleanliness and hygiene were off the scale.
Can’t thank them all enough for a carrying out what was for me a life changing operation, which I’m pleased to say has worked out perfectly.
A special thank you to Beth who looked after me all the time I was in Prague, from greeting me with a big smile dispite being freezing cold while waiting for my taxi to arrive, and was always at the end of the phone when ever I needed advice and information, thank you so much Beth From Milan.
So to sum up can’t recommend this clinic highly enough, Trifocal lenses have changed my life.

I decided to take the plunge and get lens replacement surgery . After looking around beauty in Prague was recommended by a work colleague. He had been and had it done 2 months previously. He was delighted with his results so I booked. The service from start to finish was spot on. Nela and Beth provided a professional and efficient service including transport and the suggestion of hotels near by. The surgery was painless and quick I have nothing but praise for the whole team it is now 6 weeks on I still have mild blurriness but getting better everyday . Thank you .

I was fed up wearing glasses and intended visiting prague Christmas Market.
I looked up eye treatment and the cost was less than half the UK price.
It was very easy to arrange. Communication was excellent and I was assigned an very pleasant English speaking a host who provided airport transfer and trips to and from the clinic.
The improvement to my vision was immediate and the follow up excellent.
No more glasses.
My wife and a close friend will be going soon.

I was considering double trifocal lens replacement and researched a lot of places. I eventually contacted Beauty in Prague and was glad I did. From start to finish communication, organisation and professionalism was amazing. Beth was a fantastic greater and facilitator. Everything in Prague was faultless. The clinic was ultra modern. Staff were very professional and diligent and explained everything as they went. Surgery was a breeze and immediately after, as I sat in the waiting room, I could read a poster on the opposite wall. 3 hours later we were walking through the Christmas markets in Prague. Had no pain, a little discomfort from bright lights but otherwise an incredible experience. I would highly recommend Beauty in Prague.

I would rate my experience 5 stars from beginning to end as I was well looked after by Beth and Nela, I was picked up at the Airport and taken to my hotel and picked up by taxi for every appointment and taken back the Airport which was all included in the price, even on the day of surgery was relaxed as the surgeon put me at ease so all in all a great experience and my eye sight now is perfect all for under £3000

Treatment? - I made the decision to travel to Beauty in Prague to have lens replacement surgery, after reviewing their previous patients accounts I made contact and was given all the information there and then.

Why abroad?- price, let’s be honest with the cost of living increasing and the current price list for the same treatment here in the UK it was just unaffordable so I compared prices and it was over 50% cheaper to go abroad.

How was the treatment?- the treatment was first class, I was taken to the Prague eye hospital and was given a thorough eye examinations, before the surgery date, on the day, the staff were excellent, explained everything at each stage and the surgeon was funny and knowledgeable - the procedure was fairly quick (approximately 30-40 mins) and completely pain free! I returned back to the hotel, after a sleep I could see perfectly straightaway! Amazing.
I was given drops and told to return for a check up the next day which confirmed that my eyesight was 20/20.. it really has made me feel better about myself and has changed my life!
How’s was the communication with Staff? - Communication from the very beginning was excellent, email reply’s were quickly received, a taxi was waiting for me at the airport, I was contacted by Beth via WhatsApp who met me at the clinic. Beth was absolutely fantastic, a real gem!! no question was unanswered, she constantly made contact to see if I was ok, and if I needed anything. Everything was on time and all appointments ran like clockwork. Every person I spoke to was lovely, I cannot fault anything with the trip. I’m really glad that I picked Beauty in Prague.

I had trifocal lenses fitted last week. The whole experience was brilliant. I can highly recommend using Beauty in Prague. They arranged all transfers to and from the airport and hotel to clinic. The care and attention I received was amazing, everyone was very friendly and professional. The procedure was completely painless and only took about 20 minutes for both eyes, the surgeon was brilliant he explained everything he was doing during the procedure. My vision was really good by the next day and is still improving. I would especially like to thank Beth, she arranged the taxis and met me at the clinic she is English speaking and was very kind and helpful throughout. I would also like to thank Nela for sorting everything.

I chose Beauty in Prague after doing extensive research on the internet. Communication throughout the trip was excellent as were the facilities. My eyes were scanned by several machines and after a consulation with an eye doctor I was advised I was suitable for lense replacement. It was performed on the Wednesday after the scans on Monday. It was a strange experience but quite comfortable. The issue of Halo's around lights is pretty bad for me at the moment, it just seems to be artificial lights especially when driving at night. My day time and near vision is excellent. If the halo effects clear up within the next few months then I will be very pleased, if the Halo's do not go away I will regret my decision. All the team are very professional, helpful and go out of their way to help you and I thanks eveyone for that. I am hoping the Halo's clear.

Beth who met me at the clinic and coordinated the appointments and transport was amazing. I received regular messages from her with updates and following my initial assessment when I thought of further questions she responded quickly to my messages even in the evening.

The lens replacement procedure went well and was pain free. It has now been 3 weeks and my sight is getting better and better.

I have just returned from Prague having been recommended by a friend after having Lens Replacement Surgery at Beautyinprague and couldn’t be happier with the results, The surgery was very quick and painless, and I can’t believe how much improved my vision is.
I’ve had a wonderful experience from day one and would like to thank Beth my Coordinator for all her help and support throughout my stay. I was highly impressed at the professional treatment I received from Dr Jiri Pasta and his medical Staff. Thanks also to Nela who organised all and kept me informed before my visit.

free transfers to and from the clinic and updated me with pick up times etc.
After a thorough examination it was
decided trifocals were my best choice.
The surgery itself was painless and
very quick around ten to fifteen
minutes for each eye; the surgeon
was excellent and explained everything he was doing from start to finish. A big thank you to Beth for her professional and understanding approach. This also applies to the rest of the team at Beauty in Prague, they are all first-class! If you are considering eye surgery I would highly recommend Beauty in Prague. Plus Prague is a beautiful city to visit!

I have waited over 6 months to leave a review to ensure I was happy with the end results after healing.
From the start communication was fantastic with Nela. I had to change dates from Jan to march due to covid and this was delt with amazing.
The hospital performed full health tests much more than you would receive here in the UK . This is my 5 breast operation and I've never received the pre op tests I got in Prague .
The surgeon Josef Kulhanek was fantastic made me feel relaxed and looked after me well during surgery and after such a lovely professional man .
The staff at the hospital were lovely and especially liked the nurse who looked after me at night see she was genuinely caring and really sweet .
I would definitely go back to for any further operations and Prague is such a beautiful place to visit too.
