Very thorough, informative and friendly. Really took time to understand my issues and investigate with me. Very happy with assistance and service so far - would recommend. My audiology consultant was impressed with the quality of the testing done too.

I thought after sales service was a thing of the past, but the staff at the hearing centre were fantastic, I had an ear infection and couldn’t finish my 3 month trial the staff were so so helpful amazing thank you.

I had a really thorough hearing test.The person who did my tests was so kind and explained everything as we progressed through the testing.

The hearing test was carried out well and the different hearing aids were explained. I felt that I would have liked a bit more info on the aid that I chose, I was left to read the paperwork at home.
Unfortunately the Boots examiner yawned twice during the appointment. Not very professional.

Neill who saw me was very helpful & very kind & explained all about my hearing aid -how to put it in my ears & how often I need to wear it & much more!

Sunday morning I had an issue when one of my hearing aids wouldn't switch on. Having goen through all the things I could do at home I rang and amazingly they are open on Sundays - brilliant. Ben asked if I could bring the hearing aid to the store inChelmsford that morning and he'd see what he could do. At the store Ben was extremely helpful and discovered one part of my hearing aid needed replacing which he did. He was very thorough and professional. I cannot praise Ben and all the staff highly enough - they are always extremely helpful and polite. It is very frustrating not to be able to hear clearly and so I was greatly relieved to have my usual level of hearing restored. I'd highly recommend Boots World of Hearing in Chelmsford.

I visited the store on 23rd of November 2025 to have a hearing check. The young lady who did the check and discussed my hearing with me was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable - I couldn't have had a better experience! Thoroughly recommend this branch in Chelmsford Essex to anyone needing a test and well informed advice.

Exceptional service yet again today from very professional staff with a high customer service focus.
Issues resolved effectively without fuss. Cannot speak highly enough about the staff and their knowledge and expertise.

As far as I am concerned they have tried to be helpful but It is up to me to get the right fitting to each ear. I have found out that one ear hole is narrower than the other. I have sometimes found that the changeover times can be quite challenging.

No professionalism at all. Made an appoitment for a Saturday that was cancelled without telling me until I arrived. Booked another appointment for the following Saturday only to be e-mailed days later to say that had been cancelled as well. No explanation, no alternative appointment offered, just an e-mail asking me to contact them again.
