Sam made the whole process of getting the right hearing aids a breeze. Nothing was too much trouble and he explained everything at every stage. They have made a huge difference to me. I would highly recommend Boots and especially Sam.

Melissa Was knowledgeable and made my father feel at ease throughout his hearing test and whilst being fitted for his hearing aid. It's not quite right yet but we are looking forward to our follow up appointment and have confidence that if anyone can sort it out Melissa can.

For anyone who has ears, I would emphatically recommend Jeffrey and Melissa at the Boots in Newport. Jeffrey dewaxed my ears-my first dewaxing experience. It was like a spa for my maddeningly itchy ear canals. He conducted a hearing test and suggested I have a more in-depth test with Melissa, so I followed his suggestion. Melissa diagnosed me with moderate hearing loss which is not shocking considering the amount of time I have spent in the presence of LOUD live music! She helped me understand, in great detail, what is going on with my hearing. I was fitted with hearing aids-and as they are becoming more familiar I’m really glad I decided to go for it. I really hadn’t realised how muffled my hearing had become! I made it through the first 2 weeks with Melissa’s encouragement, and then had my 2nd appointment with her. She showed me how to care for the aids and helped set up the app on my phone that can further personalise your hearing experience. She was able to answer every question I asked, and was thorough and clear with the information I need to know. I have zero anxiety about my hearing care with Melissa! And for the ear spa treatment, book with Jeffrey!

Melissa Jane Kelly, is extremely professional, know exactly what I needed for my hearing loss. I now hear thing so well, that I had no idea I could no longer hear. She is also a very friendly bubbly lady. I couldn't recommend her more. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

A very comprehensive full hearing test was what I needed, and I feel I received this and more. Mellisa did a superb job, and despite the prognosis of moderate to severe hearing loss, which I expected, and my own research. I felt a whole lot better in the knowledge that I had made the correct decision to choose Boots to confirm that my research was spot on!

Pleasantly surprised at the high level of professional care from a Hight Street store. After being cast adrift by my previous hearing aid supplier who ceased trading, I needed to find a new one who was likely to stick around. Thought I’d try Boots Hearingcare. Being a long term and experienced hearing aid user Boots quickly understood where I was coming from and what I required. Following professionally conducted tests, hearing aids from the Phonak range were agreed upon to suit my loss. After fitting there were several technical issues which were quickly and successfully resolved, and the new aids work well for me. The phone app that gives you control over the aids to optimise them in each hearing situation certainly has it’s own idiosyncrasies but with a bit of patience it is very useful.
All the staff are pleasant and helpful. Well done Sam!

Right from the start Melissa was thorough, professional and made me feel at ease during my new experience. The last 2 months have been a change to my normal lifestyle however having such a calm introduction to using my hearing aids things have definitely improved. I would definitely recommend Melissa as her knowledge is outstanding.
