Very slow. Process seems easy and everyone is friendly but you end up having to chase up your own documents to see if they’ve been processed and it means it takes longer for you to get the car than if you simply went to the garage.

I’ve recently buy a car through BuyaCar.Co.uk and that my second time I’ve been using them… first time I was really happy and pleased with the experience I had with them so I came back! All team was very helpful throughout all process I didn’t feel let down in any way, if I had any questions they responded and very quickly.

Great until delivery day

Car was meant to be delivered on 30.10 they contacted us to request we change the date to today advise ok if car would be delivered early afternoon as we are driving to Cornwall.

Had to ring them 4 times nearly six no car, their agent said it’s not their fault don’t think so arranged the car through them paid the transporter through them and paid over 400.00 for a gross service.

Advised them if car not hear by 5.30 cancel it will go to a dealer that looks after their customers

**Update** Since my last review in October. Buyacar have managed to sort out all of the issues with my vehicle. My Girlfriend initially recommended them to me and the car wasn't thoroughly checked before giving it to me. However upon expressing my dissatisfaction, they were very swift to rectify the issues and make sure that all issues were paid for and sorted out on their end. Excellent customer service towards the end. I pray that this is how it will be from the beginning moving forward.

The communication right from start to finish was amazing, I got the lowest Apr rate on finance that I've ever been offered and the car is immaculate, straight from a toyota dealership, low mileage, full service so so happy 😊

7 months ago a 17 plate Volkswagen Golf SE 2.0TDI was delivered to me from BuyaCar. When it arrived it had over 42k miles on the clock but hadn't had its gearbox serviced. At 46k miles following belated gearbox service at 42.5k, part of the gearbox has failed (P0C2900 Aux Pump).

I have been discussing the issue with Volkswagen as well as a number of industry professionals made available to me via my businesses fleet team and it appears that this pump usually fails as the result of a lack of gearbox servicing.

I've driven less than 3.5k in the car and the gearbox has failed. In addition a lack of gearbox servicing, the car arrived in terrible condition: it had a damaged infotainment screen, badly corroded brake pads and discs and 3 bald tyres. Buyacar sorted these issues out after raising a complaint but it is clear that this car was not looked after and was nowhere near the stated quality they demand for dealships.

As a result of this I am currently facing a costly repair bill with more to potentially follow!

This is my first time using BuyaCar and I had a great experience. Very simple process and stress free.

Took a risk on buying a car online that I’ve never test driven or seen in person but no regrets. I would use their service again in the future.
