Just awful.

Where do I start? The error message about CMP and TCF. I contacted their support as my ads were not showing and wanted to get this sorted. Nothing. Radio silence.

While I admit it perhaps wasn't the best fit for my smaller blog and WooCommerce set up, it was heavy, difficult to understand, and plain and simple, very user-unfriendly. The guidelines and information are badly written.

In the end, after a week of hair pulling, I deactivated it, and went with the pro-version of WPConsent. Like night and day, seriously. If you find yourself unsure about which one to go for, do yourself a favour and totally skip Complianz.

Sahar and Antonio from support were extremely helpful. They responded to my questions quickly and were able to fix the issues I was having in no time.

cannot recommend this if you have a german website. There are problems that we have since months and all they say, if they answer at all is that now they found an even more complicated issue. I asked them to inform us of their refund policy since we need to get a solution that works - no feedback at all. There is also no escalation contact. Pathetic

My experience with Complianz has been 100% positive. It fully covers my needs for both cookie management and privacy compliance on my company website. The setup process is clear and comprehensive. The ability to automatically update the scan for new cookies is extremely convenient, as is the option to translate the generated documentation.

There is a high level of design customization to match your brand, along with options to manage the layout for both desktop and mobile. I had a few minor needs, and the support contact (Mr. Roberto in my case) was fantastic. Email responses were fast, direct, helpful, and professional.

I absolutely recommend Complianz from every point of view.

This plugin is great for one thing — beg for money to upgrade to the Pro version. The free version doesn't include the basic EU cookies compliance any more, so it's essentially useless.

Use CookieYes instead if you want free GDPR functionality and Consent Mode v2 enabled, otherwise your cookie is not "legal enough" in 2026.

Update: if you're using Google services like Analytics, GDPR is not enough for "core functionality", you have to also respect DMA via V2 signals. Maybe their Pro version does that, but there are free plugins that do that, for example the abovementioned one.

I gave Complianz some feedback on their website after I experienced a problem.

They took the feedback on board and they updated their website to fix the issue that I had.

This is RARE these days, usually customer service interactions today result in dismissive responses and just more customer frustration, so credit to Complianz.

I had an issue getting Google Analytics to populate with Complianz activated, and Antonio was extremely helpful getting up and running. It was a very quick fix. Thank you so much!

Have a lot off issues with it don’t work when we want concent mode to be logged on external booking system with our subdomain. Also a lot of issue installing plugin and not great support

I had an issue with my WordPress premium licence, which was resolved quickly. The customer service team was excellent. Many thanks to Sahar from Complianz.

We had many issues due to our motive overwriting the plugin and honestly without the support from Antonio C. we would not be able to actually get this done. They were quick to respond and very "dummy" friendly. As a small company who doesn't have an IT employee and just is not very well versed in the topic, Antonio C.'s help was genuinely such a relief.

Friendly staff, great customer support and quick responses to any queries. Sahar from the customer support team was very helpful and resolved my query quickly. Would definitely recommend!

I have used the free version of Complianz on a number of sites and been happy with the results. A move to the Pro version was a little trickier and I have decided to stay where I am in the short term. Notwithstanding this the support from Complianz, I dealt with Marta, was exemplary, frankly exceeding my expectations. If you are unsure about the product or the company my experience is that you absolutely safe to engage with them. 5 Stars without hesitation.
