Have never experienced such a perfect little holiday. We felt as if we were in a fairytale! The place was so homey and warm and the shared bathroom was spotless. All the little extras there were, the wheelbarrows for luggage, hot cocoas and on-site shop added alot to the amazing experience. The hosts were very kind, lighting the fire for us so we would arrive to a warm cabin, giving us ideas for days out nearby, and helping us out when we locked ourselves out at night! Will definetly be back!

Stunning property, friendly hosts who were always able to help in a prompt manner

A wonderful week spent at the Happy Bishop over New Year. The accommodation is lovely and spacious enough for two people and a Labrador. We had a very restful time, walking along the beaches at Reef and Uig which were empty, especially when the weather was particularly windy. Reef beach is only a 15 minute walk from HB. We also walked onto the headland NW of HB out through the red gate. We watched seals, eider ducks, divers and cormorants from the living room as well as spotting a sea eagle at Reef Beach. HB was very comfortable, warm and had everything we needed for our stay. The Community shop at Uig is great and use it rather than going to Stornoway. Fantastic place!

We have been very lucky to find this place, there was really comfortable with all of things that we needed, so clean, good self check in system, all things inside of high quality products, all working correctly. We will visit this place twice maybe more

The cabin was set in the most relaxing and beautiful surroundings. It was clean, tidy, cosy and had everything we needed, yet was kept as simple and as eco friendly as possible. The wood burner was a real bonus for the winter and warmed the cabin in no time (there was an electric heater but we didn’t need to use this). The bed was so comfortable and waking up to the surrounding scenery was amazing. There were beautiful walks direct from the cabin round the lake and to the woods. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and will hopefully return.

My wife and I, along with our two Dogs stayed at laundry Cottage for a long weekend. Absolutely beautiful property, that has been restored and furnished very sympathetically. If you have a penchant for period houses, staying at Laundry Cottage is a must. The owners also left a wonderful Welcome pack, that was full of goodies. We will be returning in 2026.

Literally the best place I’ve stayed in wales so far, I’ll definitely be rebooking!
Super modern, wonderful layout out of the property, great hot tub, bed was super comfy! It ticked all the boxes thank you! Definitely recommend!

The place is so well equipped with everything you need.
The pictures just don’t do this place justice, the view is incredible. Short walk down to the harbour.
We decided to look for a last minute get away and found this place available on cool stays, So easy to book, and questions we had were answered promptly, which allowed us to book th day before. Great customer service

Our Christmas stay at wildlands was amazing. Claire, the host was attentive and ensured we had a smooth check in. The cabin is extremely modern with a fabulous kitchen too. The hot tub and fire pit ensured a relaxing experience, backing out onto the open woods. we really appreciated the provided fire wood, robes for the hot tub and the kitchen extras. The Christmas tree all decorated and lit for our arrival was an extra special touch. We will definitely be returning.

Unusual venues...
I love the unique venues you have, yes can be a bit pricey, but the last one was lovely and I think the next looks great too.
Booking process easy and hosts are easy to deal with.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage which is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The views were gorgeous despite the rain and the cottage is very cosy at night with the wood burner on. Would highly recommend and would definitely like to return at some stage.

Beautiful, Historic Structure! Nice garden setting after arriving on a cobblestone street. So unique, you won't find anything remotely like it; even another Dovecot. Comfy bed, lighting of dove holes beautiful. Large bathroom and shower. Everything you need to whip up meals or 2 blocks from main Street and restaurants and grocery stores. Sarah was easy to work with and very friendly. I made a special decision to fly in and out of Edinburgh so I could stay here. It was worth it.
