Following my recent conversation with Christa on May 29th at 9:54 AM regarding the price for a deed of variation, I cannot accept your offer of an initial consultation with a partner at £400 per hour, nor the quoted price of £500 to £1,000 for the variation itself.

I find these prices to be opportunistic and excessive for what is ultimately a relatively simple task. For comparison, Lawhive offered a free telephone consultation and a fixed price of £479. Additionally, I was able to create a legal deed using GPT AI at no cost.

I used Sophia Rajah at CWJ last summer to sell my property in Orpington. A couple of days after instructing them I was asked to go in to meet Sophia and provide I.D. Documents. Sophia was very efficient and friendly and kept me constantly informed. Even though she was a Senior Partner all emails came from Sophia.
I thought she was good at the time but since experiencing very poor conveyancing in Norwich it underlines how good Sophia was.

I used clarkson wright jakes ltd in Orpington over a building dispute. I payed for my spokesman on the day a cost of £750 Plus another £7,000 the case was adjourned on the day. I was charged an £750 on new date because the original solicitor was not available.
I was charged twice for the same work. The solicitor
proved useless on the day as he had no knowledge of
building work.There is a lot more i could say but there is only one word thats useless dont be ripped off by them
