The shop was well presented and laid out with a good selection of sofas on display. Joe was really helpful and answered all our questions. He offered to bring a rug from another display so we could see it next to the sofa we liked. Great service. When we were ready to order Joe was with another customer so Adam stepped in. He was also very helpful and gave great service too. Thank you.

The sales advisor was extremely helpful, she was very professional and very polite and took our order in a very quick but concise and accurately.
We wouldn’t have guessed she had only been working for DFS for a short while as was very knowledgeable.

I had Robert help me in DFS and they were so wonderful. Robert really took the time to sit down with me and plan my room perfectly. Robert was really informative when explaining about the sofa and very patient when I had any questions. Thank you Robert for making my purchase so positive!

Iam not happy with the delivery.Its taking long and not cheap.The fact that i bought clearence chairs and were move from Hedge end store,a few kms away to Farnborough and take a week to come back to Southampton is rediculous.Moreover,i had to give a 24 hr notice to pick them myself.This policy needs to be revised.

The staff were helpful on both occasions that we visited this week. We purchased our last sofa from DFS and it has lasted well..The only reason it needs replacing is because our dog has managed to damage it.Throughout the purchasing of our new sofas we were guided through choices available.We were well informed.

Good, none pressured service

Adam was amazing, spent an hour with me looking at all the options of style of sofa I wanted until I got what I wanted. Explained everything in detail and double checked everything to ensure I was happy

The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful. Wasn’t keen on the upselling but they didn’t push.

We have just purchased a leather three-piece suite sofa plus an additional chair from DFS in hidden Southampton. Our experience was exceptionally good. Kerry was the really helpful and friendly lady who served us and dealt with all aspects of the purchase and financing. She was genuinely interested and attentive and great to deal with. I would certainly look to buy in DFS again and actually would specifically ask for Kerry because of the positive experience we had.

Unbelievably poor service from the get go! From the sales man putting a do not deliver until the 23/8/26 (order was placed on the 31/3/26) and told it was 12 weeks for delivery. To then getting that issue resolved and moved to the 28/5/26 to finding out that half my order is coming now and even with moth my tracker telling me that all of it was coming on said date! To a piece now not arriving until 3/8/26! Head office say they can't do anything and the store who are refusing to call me and explain or come up with any form of resolution! All they did was send a pathetic email! Avoid at all cost because all they want you to do is sign the deal and then after that wash their hands with any issues that arises!

We enjoyed the whole experience today. We were welcomed into the store. We were shown the designs we liked online by the manager and he asked us what we wanted from our sofa and showed us a further design which matched with the ones we had chosen. The further design was actually the one we liked but we needed to check the measurements and to look at other stores to ensure we had the right design for us. We came back later and purchased our design and the process was quick and straightforward. Overall the staff were polite. Friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy like other stores were and provided good value for money. The 2 staff members that helped us (the manager and sales staff member that processed our order) were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a sofa providing 10 out of 10 service.
