The process of ordering through to delivery has taken over 4 months but that is due to complications with my requirements and not because of any difficulties on behalf of the company. Colin was the person dealing with my initial enquiry and subsequent order. He was very knowledgeable and guided me through the process of establishing all the items I required. He was polite and patient and provided clear detail of what would happen. Once the order was placed, the items were held in storage to fit in with my delivery needs. All have now duly arrived and are ready for installation. Very satisfied with the product and with the service and would happily recommend.

Have been in contact with Colin, who was great in handling our request, including looking for options to accommodate our needs and delivery times.

Colin was professional and courteous whilst dealing with my enquiry, the order was placed quickly and efficiently and we await delivery.

Ordering doors can be frustrating if the sales person doesn’t know what they are selling but today Colin made my experience with Doors of Distinction a pleasant one. Whole process ran smoothly and the doors are ordered. Look forward to working with Colin again.

Colin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about my order. Even though I gave a wrong code number (good job I didn’t order online) he was very patient resulting in the correct order codes.

Just found the pictures of my Doors of Distinction Door and thought I should post it up, even though it is a while since it happened. Firstly I love the door, I love the finish, it fitted perfectly and looked great. But some months after I had it fitted, while my family were away, I left for work in the morning, with a wonderful looking door and came home in the evening and the glass had completely shattered. The response was that I must have damaged it. Which was somewhat weird as there was no one in the house when it happened. I ended up buying a door from another supplier.

This is a difficult one to write as Doors or Distinction themselves are great, very helpful good customer service etc but - and it's a big but - they use a supplier called LPD doors who are basically cowboys, they product is shocking and customer service worse. I would suggest that if you use Doors of Distinction you ask them if the supplier is LPD and if it is please don't buy them or you will be sorry!
EDIT following DOD response - whilst I really do appreciate the help given by DOD and their exemplary customer service I want to double down on just how bad LPD are - if you want proof just look at all of the recent one star reviews they have!

Great company. Went back to them after a large order 3 years ago and they effortlessly matched up an additional single door we needed for another entrance. Dealt with Colin both times. Superb.

Ordered a total of 15 ELY doors on the Monday and they arrived in Inverness on the Thursday.

Three of the doors looked a little unfinished so email DOD on the weekend and received a reply on Monday that these would be replaced.

The Courier arrived the same week Thursday with the replacement doors and took away the three that I was not happy with.

Fantastic service and fantastic quality doors,highly recommended.

The point of contact is a guy called Colin, who talks you through the options available in a nice informal way. A very pleasant Chap.
You then receive info from the delivery company, who delivered nice and early, on the day given, by a hard working chap from Wakefield.
A very professional service all round.

Really please with the product and service from DoD. Colin, the sales guy that I dealt with was immensely helpful. The original oak veneered doors that we were interested in (Belize) were not available with a number of suppliers that we contacted, but he recommended a suitable alternative (Mexicano) and within a couple of weeks, all nine doors had arrived. We had 2 separate deliveries - delivery drivers on both occasions were very courteous. Also, Colin was very helpful in advising the appropriate oil treatment for the doors. All doors arrived in A1 condition. They are all now hung and oiled and are fabulous - would definitely recommend Doors of Distinction and the Mexicano doors

Called DOD after searching the internet and settled on them. Alan was very informative and knowledgeable as we had a mixture of metric and imperial sized doors. Paid our deposit to secure the deal, we then got our joiner organised. Paid the remittance and the doors duly arrived the following week. Absolutely flawless and professional service from start to finish. Our hardware went missing but a quick email and it all arrived the next day. During the delivery process we were kept updated by text and email when everything would be delivered and it was all spot on. The doors are spectacular and door furniture looks amazing quality. If you need superb quality doors with great service, definitely give them a go.

Colin was so helpful, especially to an amateur like me! I had details from my carpenter/fitter and he helped me complete the order quickly and with confidence. Now just got to wait for them to arrive. Impressed by how helpful and straightforward everything was. Thank you.

Having emailed over a set of non standard doors I received great feed back and service from Colin. Order for five non standard doors now underway.

I emailed regarding ordering non standard size fire doors and had excellent communication from Colin. He provided suggestions and then support and advice during a phone call. We are looking forward to the arrival of our doors.
