What can I say? Jenny Baker you are incredible! What started as a dream in that first consultation led to a visa grant 5 months later with 22 days from application to grant. Thank you so much for your guidance and expertise. You made this journey a lot easier than it sounded when I first heard what needed to be done. Highly recommend the down under centre ,we initially started all our evidence and plumbing assessment with Doug and team and ho we’re amazing and helpful before we moved onto the visa application with Patricia who gave great guidance with all our questions and from submitting our visa to getting the call was just over 4 weeks!

The 8th Jan 2026 is a day we'll never forget. The day our visas were granted, all thanks to the incredible team at DUC. Everything from handling skills assessments, down to supporting us through the application process was seamless. Their online portal is so easy to use and work through, the team all genuinely care and not to mention the access you get to their private FB group, which is filled with the largest community of like-minded people all in the same boat! They see you right the way through and even have post grant support for helping you get set up via their employment hub, relocation hub and regular in person meet ups! We can't wait to meet some of our virtual friends on the other side, that we wouldn't have met without DUC!

I would highly recommend Jenny at the Down Under Centre. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process - we couldn't have done it in such confidence without her. Worth every penny!

Emigrating is not easy. It's especially not easy when you aren't even aware of things that you don't know. Having someone to help guide you through the process is massively helpful and reassuring. Everything about the process is explained well, you have access to their website where you can complete various modules specific to your trade/occupation in order to gain the Australian equivalent qualification (if required, depends on your visa type and so on). They help you with information on how to get the highest possible points for your application, things such as doing an English test (it gives you free additional points but isn't necessarily a requirement for all visas), you have to do the work, they guide you through it and help where needed. It's a long process, I'd have given up without the DUC. I honestly don't know how anyone could do this without an agency, it's mind bogglingly hard to navigate through on your own. The fees are done in stages, none of this "pay us it all now in one go". You pay for each part as you progress, so you can take as long or short a time as you like (within reason). The staff are friendly and helpful. There's free monthly webinars you can attend where (usually Wes, the owner) will explain it all and update any news such as states opening or anything that's changed since last month, really useful. They do free podcasts which are excellent and helpful get you through times when you're just waiting for things to happen such as getting your visa granted as well as making you aware of things you hadn't thought of or getting other peoples experiences of what they've been through to get there. They have a FB group too for the same thing, so it's very open and honest. I feel super lucky to have used them. I honestly can't recommend them enough! 11/10!

Down Under Centre has been an integral part in the path to get my skills assessed successfully.

The team there is great and I want to give a shout out to Louisa, who was responsible for helping me through some of the most crucial steps, she helped me understand what was missing and she patiently explained all the requirements.

Their portal is very intuitive and the whole process follows a comprehensive path from start to finish.

Needless to say, I highly recommend DUC if you need to get a skills assessment in Australia.

The DUC really made the whole process a lot less stressful. I'm not saying it's not stressful, but without their guidance and knowledge i would have given up. Doug was fab from the work side of things and getting the qualifications in my trade to get the necessary points. Jennifer took the reigns from there and got the job done. More people were involved in the process than i can remember. I can say though, they were all very nice. It's not cheap, but it's so worth it.

DUC has been amazing from start to finish!! Will and Olivia are fantastic at what they do and made this whole process so easy, I would not of been able to do this without their help. I would highly recommend them to anyone trying to make the move to Australia as there is so much to do and DUC have mastered it!

DUC team played a very important part in assisting me with my skills assessment process as a general electrician. My dedicated Client Manager went above and beyond with clear communication and proofing my documents to ensure I got a positive skills assessment outcome. The support with booking my practical assessment was top notch.
