Had the most horrifying delivery experience ever by dreams today. Turned up at 8.15 ish, immediately saying this mattress won't fit up the stairs, it weighs 200kg etc etc. Carried off lorry and dropped from shoulder height onto the floor.

Literally bashed and shoved the mattress in through the house to the stairs.

One of the team trying to pull it up the stairs whilst the other just appeared to be shoulder barging it. Neither speaking to each other just seemed to be let's bash it and hope.

Still struggling they turn the mattress and go for it again, this time hitting my bookcase full of ornaments etc to the point it was rocking back and fore.

Wife asked them to take care shortly after that I had to ask them to leave the mattress where it was and leave the house.

The language and actions used was not appropriate especially in front of a 3 year old.

Absolutely disgusting

No regard for a 2k mattress nor for my house.

Pictures of the damage incurred on house /walls have been sent to customer service and complaint lodged.

Wife and I got the mattress upstairs by ourselves within a few minutes.....

The store will try and claim not their issue but ultimately we bought from dreams Penarth Road Cardiff, and delivery arranged by dreams Penarth Road Cardiff. It is this store alone I have dealt with and as such my review is of my experience provided by them

Sales & Customer service by Simon at Dreams Cardiff, Penarth Road was second to none.
The delivery was exactly as advised and the guys carried the very Heavy Sofa bed to the room without any damage at all to walls etc. Built and positioned as requested and all packaging removed.
Cant really ask for anything more. Excellent throughout.

The welcome was warm and Andrea did everything she could to help us find our product. A very good experience .

Very friendly and helpful staff in the showroom made our purchase simple and straightforward.

Delivery was also straightforward. We received an email a couple of days prior to the delivery date advising the timeslot for the delivery and on the delivery date the delivery men called to say when they would be arriving.

They came on time, assembled the bed, removed the delivery rubbish and left with no trauma.

My only criticism is, in common with almost every UK business, you have to wait for stock to become available, it is seldom available for immediate delivery.

Thay came on the time they said they would be there they were very certest in every way

Great company, & Services, but these surveys are becoming very annoying.

Really happy with our purchase at the Penarth Road, Cardiff store. Simon was great. Very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Very helpful staff, excellent layout of products

ANDREA greeted us as we entered the shop. We were looking for a mattress to replace the five year old one that was giving me back pain after surgery.
She was knowledgeable, very respectful and introduced us to the Sleepmatch. Once she knew what category we were into she carried a pillow around to different mattresses that she thought we'd be interested in.
She guided, did not push, only advised.
I knew straight away which one I wanted but husband took a little longer. She left us to ponder with a cup of coffee!
So we bit the bullet, made the purchase and feel we have made the right decision, with Andrea's guidance.

The customer service was very good. As soon as you came into the store, staff are welcoming and ready to help

What made the experience so good was the efficiency and great customer service of the person who served us Stacey

On delivery of our 6k super king bed, which btw is a beautiful bed. It was missing half the casters, wrong ones supplied, so had to go back too collect the additional set!
On fitting the head board that has four fitting posts, only 6 screw supplied instead of 8! Had to drive back again to collect missing parts. For such an expensive bed this is appalling. My advise would be to have the parts checked before delivery as I’m sure this happens regularly- hence the poor review.
addendum - after raising the complaint- they contacted customer service for use and appropriately compensated👍

Service in store and delivery all excellent, mattress is a vast improvement on memory foam mattress I bought else where at over twice the price,

I've bought a few different items from Dreams and I've always had good service and everything I've bought I've been happy with. And my latest perche was just as good thank you. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very helpful staff member who was not pushy. The computerised test bed narrowed down mattresses suitable to our requirement instead of trying every bed in the large shop. The sales staff member showed us each choice but left us to try each one and others if we wished.
No sales pressure , and her knowledge of the products was very helpful. We now have a good quality mattress which we are both finding very comfortable. 'DREAMS' was a good experience and we are both grateful it was the 1st and only showroom we needed to visit. It is a shame they don't sell wallpaper.

We purchased 2 beds and from start to finish everything went well. The beds are really good quality and very comfortable. We are sleeping much better. Delivery was excellent and the delivery men were friendly and quick. I was also impressed with the fact they covered their shoes to enter the house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and already have, my sister bought a bed today.

Dreams on Penarth Rd Cardiff were very helpful. Went after work on a Tuesday so it was quiet and we were greeted by a staff member who talked through options in our price range but also left us to browse on our own. There were sale items and managed to get a bed at a good discount that day.
