Dropped car off for airbag change and it was done quicker than expected and the staff were lovely

Car was repaired ahead of expected time , vehicle had been washed before it was returned good overall experience.

My dad was thinking about getting a newer car for a while and had a few ideas of make and model he would like . By chance we had spotted 2 that he liked and one of the sales executives (Lewis Whitbread) came over to offer advice and assist in anything we mite need and was a pleasure to talk to and was very knowledgeable and was a great help . My dad couldn’t stop thinking about that particular car after going around all the car dealerships so called Lewis back and arranged test drive and the rest is history as it’s now sat on my dad’s driveway.
Thanks again Lewis for your time and patience and for everything you sorted out for my parents , you made everything so easy and stress free and my father is very happy with his new car.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent customer service I experienced at Evans Halshaw Citroen. As a loyal customer of the Mansfield branch, where I have purchased two new cars and recently refinanced the latter, I have always utilized the service plan and had both cars serviced there.
In April, I encountered issues with my car due to engine damage. I paid £80 for the car to be transported to the garage, with the understanding that this cost would be refunded as the car was still under warranty. After 24 hours, the service team informed me that the car had suffered rodent damage, which was not covered under warranty, and the repair would cost over £1,000. I eventually went through my insurance, and the car was repaired by Citroen Mansfield. The insurance company assured me that the car would be returned fully valeted, but it was returned dirty and with a dent on the bonnet. Despite raising this with the insurance company, Citroen never responded, and I decided not to pursue the matter further.
In late May to June, I considered purchasing a new car but ultimately decided to refinance my current one. The sales staff were very attentive, and my car was kept for seven days for various checks to facilitate the resale. During this period, I was provided with a courtesy car and was satisfied with the service.
However, three weeks later, while heading to a night shift, the car started to shudder, and the engine light indicated "oil STOP." Greenflag assisted me to my workplace, where it was discovered that the oil tank was completely empty. First thing the following morning, I contacted the service department, but the representative I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful, suggesting I try another Evans Halshaw location despite my concerns about driving the car further.( 8.45am)
I then contacted the sales department at Mansfield , where Lewis assured me he would investigate and call me back. ( 9.05am)After waiting for several hours and speaking with Jordan,(10.05am) who also acknowledged the poor treatment, He assured me the Manager would contact me shortly I waited till 1.30pm stranded at work after a night shift very tired and very emotional I managed to get a lift home with a friend. I eventually received a call from the service manager at 3pm that afternoon ( but was asleep) .I rang at 5pm to be told the service team had left and to call back in the morning. But shortly after 5.15pm the Service Manager returned my call He explained that oil levels are not checked during a health check, which I found surprising given the car had been with them for seven days. He suggested bringing the car in the next day but could not provide a timeframe for the service.
This experience has led me to question the value of the service plan and the thoroughness of the services provided by Citroen Mansfield. Despite promises of a valet and courtesy car during services, these have never been fulfilled. Additionally, recommendations for costly repairs have often been unnecessary upon further inspection by a local garage.
I have lost confidence in the Mansfield branch and have now booked an appointment with the Rotherham branch, hoping for a more thorough and honest approach before my warranty expires in September. I am concerned that the engine issue may be due to a lack of oil, which should have been addressed during previous services or repairs.

Nick was very helpful throughout the process. From viewing the car to purchasing it he kept us informed. Made sure everything was done before collecting the car. Very impressed

Excellent Service for over 5 yrs of Service

Bought a car from here in Jan 2025 and had a great experience, but over time found it wasn't the car for me, so without hesitation I came back to this showroom, explained my problem and without as much as a blink, the manager Lem, said no problem, introduced me to a salesman , introduced him , Jordan, who listened and showed us to the car we'd seen on line ... from that moment on everything was done smoothly, nothing was a problem, we didn't have to do anything apart from sign a few papers, Jordan was great throughout and looked after us excellently, no hesitation in recommending Evans Halshaw and Jordan in particular to anyone wanting to purchase a car x

Just bought a used car from this dealership and must say it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish.
Both Nick and Charlotte in Sales were very easy to get along with, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were both very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I felt I was a valued customer.
I know it's their job but they do put at ease all the way through the process without being pushy.
