I have the new electric Mokka and recently had to take it to Evans Halshaw Middlesbrough due to a orange light that appeared,
I phoned Evans and without hesitation it was dealt with by Ella, car went in they loaned me a car for the duration, the service received was second to none, customer service was excellent well done Ella and the friendly of Evans Halshaw Middlesbrough

Van booked in for MOT and Service. They did not do a pre-MOT because ‘the guys were too busy’. It’s not my fault you overbooked the garage, I should be treated the same as other customers and receive the full service I have been paying for. I was then charged £150 to clear a fault which I knew already existed and should have been cleared pre-MOT. Just a way to get more money out of you, shocking really.

Also very disappointed I was not contacted about any of the progress and I had to chase for updates myself. I only found out it had failed because I checked DVLA myself and had no correspondence from the garage.

They apparently fixed a fault of the headlight not being high enough. Now my light does not adjust in height anymore using the adjustment dial. It’s like they’ve forced it to stay at a specific position when the whole point is to be able to adjust the light when needed. My van also now has an odd noise coming from the air filter/timing belt area when the engine turns off, this did not exist before I took it to this garage and I will be using another garage to figure out what they did and why.

I am cancelling the service plan and won’t use this garage again. The staff were friendly and kind which was great, but the whole experience for me was negative. What a shame.

Great customer service and support, my cars first service which went excellently well.
When I went to collect my vehicle it was clean. The following information I received via email was great.

staff were polite and helpful during the sale. after taking delivery and finding the car had several pre existing faults things changed. no one was available to take a call and would need to phone back, or they would have to talk to the service manager and phone me back, which they never did. so i called in and sat in front of them to try and get things sorted. it went in to get fixed, and when i got it back nothing had been done. workshop is poor and incapable if you have any issues once taking delivery. i will not be using them again.

Saw a used car online and contacted Keith at Evans Halshaw.
Amazing customer service!!
We wanted to be sure before viewing the car as we were over 200 miles away.
Keith provided an in depth video of vehicle and answered any questions we had (and corrected bits on the car we were not happy with).
On the day of collection Keith was friendly and continued with the great customer service.
All in all a great experience and he is a credit to the Evans Halshaw dealership.
We never felt pressurised at any point and felt at ease throughout the whole process.

Avoid this place like the plague. Seriously.
I took my car in for a first service (simple oil change and pollen filter change), which managed to take them just over 4 and a half hours to do.

Upon driving the vehicle away, what am I met with? Smoke billowing out of the bonnet, burning smell in the car. Naturally, I try to call the dealership, aware they close in 45 minutes. Amazingly, no one answered and let me tell you, I was the only customer in that dealership so they not only took over 4 hours to do a 45 minute job, but no one answered the phone until the next monday! Meanwhile, I'm fortunate to be driving round in a brand new vehicle with burning smells and a smoking bonnet.

Monday morning, they ask me to bring it in. Appears as though one of the 'technicians' had managed to pour oil all over the engine bay and exhaust manifold which is causing the burning smell and smoke coming out of the bonnet but 'not to worry, it would eventually evaporate after driving for a week or two'. I had to take time out of my working day to take the vehicle back to them to resolve this resulting in losing half a days pay because of their incompetence. A formal complaint has been issued but their customer service is the same level as their car servicing after being sent an email saying 'tried to call you twice but no answer'.

The truth in the matter is that they called once for a couple of rings and hung up when i I was at work, left no voicemail nor a follow up email with regards to the complaint.

Clearly, this dealership doesn't value it's customers nor it's customers property. I won't be returning and have made it known to friends, family and work colleagues the level of incompetence shown throughout

Avoid for your own good, it might cost you in the future.

This is the 3rd year that I have taken my car to be serviced and MOT'd.
Following the health check we discovered some work that needed doing. Amy who was brilliant to deal with on service reception explained eveything that was needed and I was offered a service plan too which I have taken out. There was some work which needed sorting which Ashley sorted out through the warranty I have.
The work was completed although I had to revisit the garage a week later. I was in the great hands of Angela and Nicola who resolved the problem for me . Fantastic customer service from all.
I will always use this garage because I am always made to feel I am really valued as a customer and not just a sale.
I also observed the manager and the team preparing for a chartity event which was wonderful to see. Business supporting communities and charities gets a big applaud from me.
Thanks also for the afterservice calls I get to check everything is ok.

In March 2025 my car was due is 2nd year service I was contacted in February by both e.mail an telephone informing me of this. The options available for collection and subsequnt returnof my car after service or my delivering the same and being driven home and being later collected from home to take me back to collect my car I chose the second option. From start to finish everthing went according to plan
I was greeted by Angela at Service Reception who quickly arranged my lift home then on completion of the service informed me by again both e.mail and telephone of the condition of my car and then arranged my pick up from home to the garage to collect my car this was many thanks to not only Angela and the driver who drove me to and collected me from my home and finally the condition my car was returned to me having been cleaned both inside and out was much appreciated Many Thanks see yo next year

Angela, the Senior Service Assistant was so helpful. Angela is such a kind person. She brightens up your day.
Everything wasn't a problem. Angela kept me updated at every stage and provided me with all the relevant information.

Communication from Angela was perfect, and the fact I could pay over 4 months was ideal. Thank you to Angela and the service team for sorting everything out.

I was amazed at the excellent customer service both on the phone and at the showroom. Attention to detail and brilliant manner and attitude towards customer.

Car has scratches on it that were not reported, burns in the carpet and mats, seats and interior dirty, no fuel. No Handbook or Staff the most unhelpful you could ever ask for

When called up to speak to the dealer principal they refused to speak to me

Took car in for a service and had brakes pads changed good service and communication and not over priced

Booked car in for heater matrix under warranty. Got a call on Friday afternoon saying that they have ordered a replacement and hopefully would be arriving that afternoon or on Saturday ready to start fitting on Monday. After no communication I rang Tuesday afternoon and was told I’d receive an update. No update received so called Wednesday morning, again told someone would call !! No call so rang again late afternoon only to be told that they haven’t even started the work and that it was planned in for Monday. After a lot of fobbing off and being told the same rubbish I was told that I’d receive a call back in 5 minutes which never happened. Got a call the following morning saying that they have got car in workshop and are working on it. Feel as if I’ve been fobbed of and lied to. Only decided to take action after I chased them
