Renewing buildings insurance
I called to renew my buildings insurance on my rental house.Ispoke to James and explained that I wasn't managing to use the portal very well and it was stressing me, as I don't like having to do things online. He was very understanding and was happy to ensure all my documents will be sent by post from now on. I had got a bit muddled with my buildings insurance and rent protection insurance. He clarified that for me. I then asked James to quote me for buildings and contents insurance for my own house. He was very patient and answered all my questions. I was very impressed that he really took the time to explain things like the excesses ,valuables limits etc so I could make an informed decision. Other insurers I have dealt with have never explained things like James did, they just said they couldn't advise me,which was never helpful for me. Explained and advising are two different things! I was very happy to change my buildings and contents policy fir my own house to First2 Protect as the renewal quote I had been sent by SAGA was ridiculously expensive. I am extremely happy with James's help yesterday. He is patient understanding and knowledgeable and saved me £140! I will happily recommend First 2Protect to friends and family who require insurance. Thankyou again James.

Insurance OK but need easier renewal process
I have no problem with the service Iâve received because, fortunately, Iâve not had to make a claim! However, every time it gets to renewal time I have trouble accessing my documents online. I canât imagine why I would use a different password from every other account I have online yet my usual password doesnât work! As a result I also canât pay online and have to go to the trouble of telephoning them do this (there used to be Bank transfer payment, why was this removed?). So, to sum up the product is good but access to it is bad!
