I found it great that I could talk to a real person,then every thing went very smoothly & very quick, I was kept in touch at every stage . Brilliant.

I was kept up to date and details were given. Very happy with staff i spoke with. Direct and honest.

Dreadful service - we had our Home Insurance through Sainsbury's and had a major leak in the summer, bringing down our bathroom ceiling. From the start we experienced problems with Integra, the loss adjustor was slow and the works took an age to start, eventually beginning two months after the incident - there were then further delays as the builder had been given incorrect contact details for me and, when work was completed, the builder contacted me to pay the excess directly, despite my policy with Sainsbury's clearly stating that any excess would be collected by them. On querying this with Integra in October I received an email confirming my claim had been settled in full - by this time I had contacted the Financial Ombudsman with an official complaint. This week I have been contacted again by the builder as the excess has not been paid by Integra, despite two messages from them confirming my claim has been settled in full - an absolute shower. Check the small print of your policy and if Integra are mentioned, get out quick.

Poor communication and lack of understanding and help. Wouldn’t use again.

Hopeless. We have woken up to a water leak from the bathroom pouring through several parts of a newly decorated kitchen. Payment shield just referred us to Integra who have no emergency response team and have no record of our policy. Years of paying. No previous claims. First emergency and this!!! Please avoid. Thankfully our plumber is on his way. What are we playing premiums for????

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that we do not have emergency home cover. What I don’t understand is that you did not recognise the policy number for the insurance that we DO have. How can this be?

The problem was not solved. Accidental damage is covered but you placed the blame everywhere else but accidental.
Outside tap the most likely cause of the bellied pipework but would not accept it. The manhole on the drive is lower than the rest of the drive but you only reconnected the pipe, so the chamber still holds water. The manhole is lower than the pipe was, causing the disconnection, so unless the ground pushed the pipe upwards, the issue was with the chamber dropping.

Due to heavy rain, my living room flooded on Nov 11th 2025. I made an on-line claim with 3xd immediately, and spoke to someone on the phone the next day. I was told that I would hear from a loss adjuster within 24 hours. A month later, I still haven’t seen him. He has appointed Red Dragon Cleaning and Restoration company and, thankfully, they are efficient. It was 3 weeks before our wet, filthy, wooden floor was taken up, despite me informing Integra that I have a lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis). Service has been abysmal, and as soon as this is settled, I will be switching to another insurance company.

Closed my claim without settling.No contact nothing just a text saying its closed worst service ever

Prompt and efficient service that cannot be faulted.
Only concern is how much my premiums will rise next year. That outcome will colour a future rating but I’m thankful thus far.

If I could rate zero I would!! Absolutely shambolic treatment. My kitchen ceiling fell in due to a water leak in March 2025. The insurance company allocated a loss assessor who was nothing but ignorant. He disputed majority of my claim and worst of all continuously ignored emails. I’ve had no heating in my kitchen and bathroom since March and I know the loss assessor was dragging it out as long as possible to wear me down. I needed to settle the claim to enable me to get the works carried out, and wanted to raise a complaint and go through to ombudsman, but was told this could delay the claim for another 6-8 months, which I couldn’t cope with and also risked a further claim from burst frozen pipes , so very very reluctantly, I FELT TOTALLY PRESSURED and therefore felt I had no option but to accept the latest offer (october 2025)which was approx only 70% of the claim, meaning I am having to get a loan for 15k to enable me to get the works done. I have paid my insurance premiums forever and have never had a claim before, and me and my husband are both pensioners. INTEGRA you should be ashamed of yourselves. This is not how anyone should be treated!!!!!!!
