The accident happened in 2022. Whilst I understand these things take time to resolve it is only when Sian took over that movement appeared to progress. Those before hand were poor. Communication was practically non existent, verbally and electronically.
Sian worked hard to bring the case to a conclusion and I was kept informed at all stages. My daughter is also dealing with your firm and her experience is appalling. No one replies to her questions. If you would like more information , I would gladly send it to you as this is damaging your reputation.

It was many months before I was even contacted by anyone after constant attempts to make contact with them. Progress was extremely slow despite very clear CCTV footage of the incident. It still took over 12 months for my case to be settled. Most of the work was done by Jazmin Mahmood who was very friendly and informative when I could get in contact.Bethany Chandler appeared at the end. I am grateful for getting my case settled in the end but I'm sure it could have been settled much quicker. The legal system in this country is painfully slow even when the evidence is clear.

the 'experience' only became good when my mum's case was taken up by Rita Kaakunga-Arnold - before Rita was involved things were not so good.... Rita was excellent - professional, attentive and caring, a credit to the company and the human race.

My assigned solicitor Leanna was very professional and made me feel at ease from the first day. She explained in detail legal matters that I was not sure about. She even went out of her way to call me, whenever I asked to speak with her. This helped me to understand the legal aspects better. There were times when the whole case was getting too much for my mental health but she reassured me and made feel at ease. I would recommend Leanna for others, who may need legal advice. I hope she gets recognised by her boss for her excellent services to her clients.

My experience with Lyons Davidson it’s liars Davidson I will call them has been extremely disappointing.
• My car accident claim took over two years nine months to resolve.
• I was passed between multiple case handlers at least six all of them unprofessional and rarely received proactive updates – I had to chase them constantly.
• The medical treatment arranged was poor quality.
• After the case was finally settled in June 2025, I was told I would receive my injury compensation within six weeks. It is now August 2025 and I am still waiting for payment.
• Every time I ask, I am given vague or conflicting excuses.
• This delay has caused me financial stress and significant inconvenience.

I expected a professional, efficient service from a law firm, but instead I have been left frustrated and without the money that is rightfully mine. I would not recommend them to anyone needing legal help.

I was involved in a life changing road accident in 2020.
Lyons Davidson were fantastic throughout the whole experience.
They helped me manoeuvre through my changed world, aided me in finding assistance from start to finish and eventually helped me negotiate a settlement and avoid the stress of court.

Title: Unprofessional, Unresponsive, and Deeply Disappointing

Since June, I have made repeated attempts to speak directly with a solicitor and arrange a face-to-face meeting — all of which were ignored or dismissed. The lack of communication has been appalling, causing unnecessary stress, significant delays, and a complete breakdown of trust in this firm’s ability to act professionally.

A token compensation offer was made, but it failed to reflect the extent of their failings or the time, distress, and inconvenience I have endured. I even had to submit a formal Data Subject Access Request just to obtain my own case file and personal data — something they are legally obliged to provide without delay.

Rather than address the matter properly, the firm appears content to let the situation escalate. I am now referring my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. I wish I had read their Trustpilot reviews before engaging them, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for legal representation.

Incident date 15sep 23 not 24, but system won't allow the year

Appalling service - was appointed by my Halifax Home Insurance as solicitors to act on my behalf for a personal injury claim. Asked for support numerous times to complete their extensive claim forms but no response and instead sent me automated messages to log into the portal. When I asked specific responses to my queries no response. Awful and please avoid.

Update - the email response from Lyon’s Davidson referred to below is simply acknowledgement from the Compliance Team of my request for all data related to me and my claim to be erased.

Lyons Davidson Solicitors represented me for a careless driving incident, with the potential of increased charges and the lose of my driving license. Although I had a good case due to evidence, nothing is guaranteed and the police insisted on taking me to trial.
David Olliverel, who represented me, was the ultimate professional. He grasped every aspect of my case with absolute clarity and guided me through the whole process, articulating it very clearly.
The way my defence was laid out, meant that the case was dismissed by the prosecutor on the day of the trial before going into court.
I cannot recommend Lyons Davidson enough. David Olliverel is truly exceptional at what he does and I can’t imagine any other firm of solicitors doing better.
A class act!

The solicitor Monika was very knowledgeable and wise with a good grasp of really what would be likely to happen were the case to go to court. This meant I could make informed decisions and went in the right direction avoiding wasting time and unnecessary costs. I had a lengthy telephone call with Monika and four pages is extremely good, informed advice. She was pleasant polite and easy to understand in the telephone. I value the advice and am to use the advice I was given.

Lyons davidson don`t reply to messages left on there answer phone and give out wrong phone numbers.
We have been waiting three weeks for treatment for a neck injury and I wonder if this will have to get better on it own before we get any treatment.
So far these solicitors are by far the worse that I have used in my life

Kept up to date with case and supported me through court process

I've only given 1 star because it wouldn't let me give none. It will be nearly 6 years since my accident and it has been one mistake after another, with it finally being struck off by the judge because it was handled appallingly by my solicitor, and she wasn't the first she was the 2nd to take over my case. If the judge hadn't been so professional he would have laughed because it has been one incompetence after another. And there wasn't even a legal bundle presented for the judge, in court, and medical test evidence from over a year ago not presented. The judge even stated im a victim of legal incompetence. Tests not arranged until years after the event despite them being requested. I've had to be the one who contacted her because my case was just left and ignored. She even told she wasn't there to advise me. It's been a joke and a sham all the way through. Absolutely disgusted with the service I
have received. But then again they still get paid.

Good communication and access to the Portal was really helpful

I was referred to Lyon Davison via insurers. Luca was professional, timely and thorough. I had prompt calls and communication with him and I really felt like he was listening. We managed to conclude the matter swiftly and in a manner that allowed me to walk away from the ET situation with some peace.
