Had looked forward to buying a pair of NB for ages. Bought a pair under a year ago, through extremely light wear, multiple areas had totally disintegrated by 6mo owning them. Reached out to customer service, was forced to waste time jumping through a bunch of hoops to get a reply (sending details and photos I’d already sent), to be told there’s no warranty or repair service and all they can do is offer a meagre 15% off my next pair. Why would I want a new pair? Pathetic. Do not recommend.

Ordered trainers and joggers together. New balanced emailed to say trainers out of stock and not sent ( still showing 3 pairs 2 days after). Trousers delivery marked as received even tho nothing was delivered. Process is to contact NB who email UPS who then have a 7 day response time. After which probably another 7 to 10 days for a refund. So about 3 weeks from order to getting my money back and NO items received. If any other online stored stocked the extra wide options I would NEVER buy directly again. Rubbish experience and rubbish customer service.

AVOID IF YOU WANT OR NEED WATERPROOF! They are not waterproof. I bought them to walk my dog as we go on fields and wanted to have dry feet in trainers. When I walk through wet or damp grass the trainers allow the water to go through. These trainers are £155 and claim to be waterproof. I only had them for 6 weeks when I contacted customer services to explain this. I believe they may have a goretex membrane problem. Their response : "However, while the shoe is water-resistant and provides protection against moisture penetration, it is not completely impervious to water in all circumstances. In particular, the shoes may still become wet when exposed to significant amounts of water, prolonged contact with very wet surfaces, or when walking through saturated grass and other heavily waterlogged areas. Under these conditions, moisture can eventually enter the shoe, which may result in dampness inside the footwear." So they basically don't stand up in wet weather! So they are not waterproof! I walk in not particularly long grass that is wet sometimes. I'm not walking in waterlogged grass. Very unhappy and will not purchase new balance ever again. Will be telling all family and friends to avoid new balance and spend their money elsewhere. There are better companies out there that stand by their product and if there is an issue they will actually resolve it and not palm you off. Customer service here is abysmal. I have other goretex footwear that is absolutely waterproof. What a con New Balance. Disgraceful.

I visited the Oxford Street store today to buy a pair of trainers: I use the treadmill at my gym following an accident and needed a pair of supportive shoes. I was served by Hemela who was patient with me, which was lovely as I am a little aged. She scanned my feet and recommended appropriate shoes. Regrettably they didn't have my size in stock but she advised me to order online. She gave me accurate details so I was able to order them when I got home. Hemela was friendly, professional and engaging and went the extra mile. A good asset to New Balance. I couldn't find anywhere on New Balance site to leave a review!

My experience at New Balance, Oxford Street, London, on 23 October 2026 at 18:30, was appalling.
I was examining a bag and trying to establish its price when a customer assistant behaved dismissively, repeatedly rolled her eyes and ultimately told me, “I am not helping you,” before walking away.
When I asked a supervisor for the assistant’s name, she told me it was Serene (spelling unconfirmed). The supervisor said she would address the matter. Afterwards, I observed her speaking with another assistant; they appeared to look towards me, whisper and laugh. I cannot know what they were discussing, but the timing made the situation even more uncomfortable.
I later reported the incident to another supervisor and was told the manager would contact me.
I am seriously concerned that racial discrimination may have played a part in the treatment I received. I went into the store as a customer, not to be treated with contempt for asking a simple question about a product.
I have submitted a formal complaint and requested an investigation. I expect New Balance to examine what happened, take my concerns seriously and provide a meaningful response.
This was an unacceptable customer experience that has seriously undermined my confidence in New Balance. A well-known brand should be able to offer customers basic courtesy, respect and professional service. My experience fell far short of those standards.
I would like to see how New Balance handles this complaint before deciding whether my confidence in the brand can be restored.

Who can help Serene understand that racism is not going to accepted or tolerated by any customers in the world?!?!?

Refused to cancel order made a few hours earlier - won't buy their stuff again

Ich hatte Schuhe per EXPRESS-VERSAND bestellt. Extra 15 Euro.
Bestätigter Liefertermin bei Bestellung wurde überzogen. Für eine Sendung von 3-4 Werktagen, muss ich sicher nicht per Express bestellen. Der Clou ist allerdings, dass sich NEW BALANCE weigert, die Extrakosten zu erstatten, obwohl dieser Service überhaupt nicht stattgefunden hat.

Onlangs een grote bestelling gedaan, echter na 2dagen kreeg ik een mail dat een paar schoenen niet beschikbaar zijn. Ik ga kijken op de website en deze staan wel nog in dezelfde maat beschikbaar, klantenservice zegt dat ik opnieuw kan bestellen maar dat ik wel de verzending moet betalen.

Exposed and missing stitches, glue visible on one shoe, inside soles coming off.
I am not sure I was sent an orginal product so I returned it and won't buy this brand again.

New Balance is al een halve eeuw, mijn favoriete sneakermerk. Onbetaalbaar als kind...nu een ruim aanbod.
Heb hier tientallen paren gekocht.
En nooit een klacht. Moet wel zeggen, dat ik precies weet wat ik koop. Bezorgen vaak na 3 a 4 dagen.

Terrible customer service. I have purchased online sneakers as a birthday gift. Order was placed and confirmed by email. What can go wrong? 3 days of silence later I suddenly receive refund and an email that item is out of stock…. I ordered from an official NB website, this should not be happening. I had 3 day left to organise a new gift and had to pay for express delivery. I did not order a new balance trainers, obviously… I won’t be shopping with them again. The his large company should be able to at least keep their stock right online.

Absolute scam of a company. Spent £160 on 9060’s on ASOS and what turned up was shocking. Frayed, misaligned stitching all over the gaff. Like someone had patched them together from off cuts 😂 Needless to say I’m returning them and won’t be ordering from NB again. Cheers

Received defective item. But the resolution provided when reported wasn't happy. Very bad condition shoe received for £144

I bought a hoodie from the New Balance website, but I received an empty box with only a return label inside.
I contacted them, and they said they had investigated the case but that there was nothing they could do. They literally took £47 from me without delivering the product I paid for.

I am absolutely outraged by this situation and extremely disappointed with the way my complaint has been handled.

I’ve never encountered such poor customer service from a corporate company(NB) with many email attempts and 3 responses which incidentally 1 of the responses was a MISTAKE, I find no other alternative to voice my concern to the poor process and values that has woven itself into the fabric of NEW BALANCE (NB).
The product is poorly designed ,this was evident when the suede split near the laces and developed within a mile use.NB response was “I tied my laces too tight”CASE CLOSED ,if this was the case the eyes that the laces fed through would have been torn too.
On a positive note NEW BALANCE has shown me that I should had never deviated from ADIDAS.

The new heel that resembles Hoka brand rocks the foot instead of the previous heel toe normal foot strike. Please go back to the design of the previous models x13 and x14.

Terrible customer service. Ordered as a new customer with a 15% off voucher. Item arrived and it was the wrong colour - they accepted liability as a warehouse error. CS advised they cannot replace so I’d have to return and re-order. However I wouldn’t be able to use my discount code again so I have to pay more for an item I originally ordered. Thanks New Balance but your awful CS has put me off re-purchasing. Buyers beware

Just shopped at the Cheshire Oakes store, the staff Max and Jason are fantastic. So helpful and friendly it was truly refreshing to have meet wonderful employees Their knowledge of products and advice was unprecedented. Lovely to meet both of you ( mum and daughter shoppers )
