Excellent prescription cycling glasses.
Just purchased my second pair. They are really great quality and an excellent easy to follow on-line service. Despite that, they followed up to ensure I was truly wanting a different style to my previous order (I was) and even asked if I wanted the seasonal discount, which I’d failed to notice when ordering.

2nd pair and very pleased
2nd pair of cycling glasses that I've had from Optilabs and the lens (bi-vocals), light sensitive, are just as good if not better than my original pair. Also, the new style frames seem stronger. Very pleased.

Problematic frames, poor quality = issues
Issue update 16/01/26:- As i mentioned in my original review Optilabs can not be faulted fo their customer service, its excellent. I now have a replacement pair, in a different frame design, the frame is better and the optics are 100% better. This level of service is the reason i’m a repeat customer.
I have used Optilabs a few times, unfortunately on this occasion i have had more than one issue.
A two star review doesn’t reflect the whole picture; their customer support remains excellent, no fuss, professional and quick to respond and resolve, customer service is really 5 star.
The two star is over the quality of the frames, which is really poor. As a full time glasses wearer, the frames they use one could probably pickup on Temu or Ali express for less than £5, which shows, twice i have been sent glasses, the original order and a replacement and the lenses have easily popped out when just cleaning them, 100% poor frame quality, the lenses are simply not retained properly. The glasses/frames are cycling ones and there’s no option to buy a ‘quality’ frame which is a shame. I appreciate that there’s a price point however i’d much rather pay a higher price for a quality frame than the options available from Optilabs. One of the reasons why i am a repeat customer is the quality of the lenses, which have traditionally been good, however on this occasion there’s something just not quite right, that and the frame issues is the reason for the 2 star rating.
Lastly, they are re making the lenses and supplying a different frame design (not the ones i really wanted,however i suspect the batch if frames they have from my original order will continue to have issues, they’re cheap and one can’t get away from that fact) which reflects the 5 star customer service.
In summary, you get what you pay for in the product but with great customer support

Shooting for Gold (well Yellow).
I’ve been using a pair of Optilabs prescription Vermillion tinted shooting glasses for a good while.
This pair was an additional pair and with Yellow tinted lenses. I found them very good for picking up on clays in low light overcast conditions. I’m very pleased with the glasses and the service from Optilabs.

I asked a question on the order form and was contacted by phone the next day with an answer. The timescale provided was met and the quality of the glasses is superb, I’m very happy with them and look forward to placing another order.

Great Cycling Specs.
I recently replaced my several years old Optilabs cycling glasses with new ones. My optician had said it needed doing. The new ones, like the old were vary tint and varifocal and are excellent. I was advised in the new packaging that lens replacement was available. Pity I was aware before I bought the new ones.

Glasses are fine
Glasses are fine, marked down because the sample frames weren’t sent and had to be chased up which delayed the arrival of the glasses until I’d gone on holiday which is what I wanted them for.

Absolutely excellent company! I've bought 3 different styles over the years and all have been great. So much better than messing about with different combinations of contact lenses/eye protection. One pair with Transition lenses and you're ready to ride, run or hike in any conditions.
