Pleasant atmosphere generally.
Much larger and cleaner waiting area, although vending machine needs some attention, plus a bin into which used cups would be useful. When I was there there was just a bin lid on the floor.

Always have good, honest service here.

I had a damaged tyre and visited Protyre without an appointment. The receptionist offered me an afternoon slot which was greatly appreciated.

Professional Prompt and prices are very reasonable.

I will never go back there again. After the service, I asked for the cost of any repairs, but was told they’d call me back since they didn’t know. I’ve called three times since, and I still get the same response. I truly regret going there. I wasn’t sure at first, but my mum convinced me to give them a try - never again.

Good friendly service. On time & gave honest advice

Arrived at 2pm (granted 30 mins early), and was told “we like early”. The booking was made for 4 new tyres, followed by the mot. The mot was done first and therefore meant an advisory was put on the mot paperwork, despite knowing they were fitting new tyres. The mot and tyres were completed at 17.10 which was a completely unacceptable timescale, when the appointment had been booked weeks in advance.

As I pulled up on forecourt phone rang cancelling MOT.
At reception was told they had equipment failure.
No effort to mitigate, perhaps by offering a free pre MOT inspection (bearing in mind I was there and the MOT inspector must be idle) or offer to run a cancellation list to try and fit me in. Only option was to book a week later, which wasnt particularly convenient but we had no choice(MOT prepaid).
Been using for over 15yrs but this has soured things.

Very helpful and did a good job

I go there for a decade, they have great customer service. One star less is because it’s the second time I got a price over the phone but paid more when work is done. No additional work has been done, only what quoted. I doubt they did it deliberately but still it happens. I’ll continue going there despite this issue I had but this needs to be improved. Thanks.

The air con in our car recently needed re-gassing. We called in the ask about making an appointment and were told it could be done there and then and would take an hour. The customer service was great as usual, unfortunately the re-gassing took quite a while longer than we were told, however we were still pleased with the service received.

On arrival I was told that it is Protyre policy to fully inspect the car before fitting replacement tyres as they have had previous customers complaining of damage after their tyres were replaced. My car was taken into the inspection area and was left with the ignition and lights on for 40 minutes whilst they inspected my car. The operator then took a further 40 minutes to replace the tyres and fit wheels back to car. whilst continuing to leave my ignition and lights on. The tyre walls were covered in sealant, but I could not be bothered to ask them to clean them as I was already running so late. The tyres were otherwise good and competitively priced.
