I recently had Senator Windows install their tilt and turn windows in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the moment I contacted them, their customer service was top-notch, providing expert guidance and answering all my questions with patience and professionalism.

Got windows replaced less than a year ago. Told yes that the gas had gone out of the old windows and that's why they have condensation on them in the morning. Paid €4000 on ordering and another €4000 week before fitting. Put a complain into the navan shop 2 weeks ago only to hear he was going to put a email to head office about them covering up the vent in one of the bedrooms. Mould on all the upstairs rooms and no word from them to send out someone out to check out their SHODDY WORKMANSHIP. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS SHOWER. BET I WON'T GET A REPLY FROM THEM. And don't listen to the crap out of Gerry mouth from Drogheda

Just had Windows and front door replaced by Senator. Great job, very happy. Fitters Derek and Derek were friendly, professional and paid great attention to detail. Very neat work and left the house just as they found it. They were helpful and obliging. Would recommend. Took 2 days.

My door was fitted back in 2021 and I am having a few issues with the handle and lock. As its under guarantee (10 year) I decided to give them a call to see if I could get it sorted. And WOW I actually think I'm still in shock "call handlers" take your call not Senator themselves the lady was so rude said it was 120 for a call out and she would get someone to call me back within 48 hours needless to say no one called me. So I called back a week later got the ladies name this time (thought I was just unlucky to catch someone on a bad day) but no, she was actually twice as rude kept cutting me off wouldn't listen told me it would be 60 for a call out and she would get someone to call me back. Guess what no one called me back! So I called a third time and got the same lady who point blank denied she had been previously speaking to me and if I thought the first time was bad OMG you need a new job Maura!
DONT work in a call center dealing with people all day if you dont like people or have any customer care experience, how can Senator let these people represent them? So yes you guessed it no one called me back. So the 4th call I called Senator directly thinking that they would have a bit more respect for the customer and would be intrigued to know how their customers where been treated by this call center . Well not so much, they told me I had to call the local branch that fitted the door in the first place, sorry my crystal ball wasn't working! And were a bit on the defense when I was explaining my experience.
In essence iv been getting the run around for 2 weeks now and no one cares a bit. They get your money and thats it game over we dont care for you anymore 10 year guarantee but if there is an issue you have to pay a call out charge of .. well who know cause messaging is inconsistent. The sad case here is that I wanted to get my windows replaced this year and with this experience I would not touch this crowd with a barge poll.
After care is very important!
Staff training is important!
Manners are important!

Poor quality hardware used, pitted, stained and broke, never had any in stock during warrantee period and never phoned when back in stock.

Now out of warrantee, they DO NOT sell or supply any parts for there products...

Avoid this "Shower"

We had a set of french doors installed in Swords. The lads were great!

Our opening was very skewed (late 70s build) so they came back the next day with hand shapped moulding to fill the gap rather than pumping in the silicone and letting it sag / crack after a few years.

Details like that need to be commended I highly recommend.

Just had my windows and doors fitted from Senator Windows Dublin. absolutely delighted . Great company to deal with from consultation to measurement and fitting , it was all handled very professionally.

Great showrooms in Santry and Churchtown.. great company to deal with , would be happy to recommend.

Today had the most horrible customer service experience I've ever had with Senator Windows.

I was left upset and angry - their obnoxious sales rep who point blank refused even entertain giving me a quote for the damages to my windows, damage done by the thugs who burgled my home.
As if the experience of being robbed wasn't traumatic enough... this company rep told me he WASN'T giving me a quote because other people had got quotes form him in the past but then they hired other companies who would undercut the quote and do the work...
he abruptly said..
I'M NOT QUOTING YOU..
I told him he's being discriminatory and casting assumptions based on his previous experiences with other customers...and comparing me to them without even fully knowing what work I needed done...

I said, 'So you don't want my business??' ... and he rudely and abruptly said NO... I'M NOT giving you a quote and hung up the phone on me.

He didn't want to deal with the insurance company.
When I called Senator windows back back and asked to speak to a manager about how badly I was treated...

I was treated poorly AGAIN...

I was told nobody was available...
When I asked for the managers name..
the blunt unfriendly (new) receptionist told me he's not available...
I asked again for his name... she said she didn't know the managers name because she was new!

I asked her if she would kindly go ask someone else for the managers name ... she refused and asked to take a message.

When a person has been robbed, distressed and needs to feel secure and safe in their own home again you want a company who cares and wants to help you

To add insult to injury, Senator windows told the same rude sale rep to call me after they read my review on Trustpilot.

He opened the conversation by TELLING me that I asked him to quote for 'one' window, not two and said THAT was his reasoning for not quoting because they have a minimum order requirement. (untrue, that was not his excuse yesterday)

Yesterday he told me when he quotes for people and they go with others the insurance company put in place because they undercut the price.

I told him I'm well within my rights to call other companies and get the best quote... but who I chose is determined by what they can offer and the service they provide. He didn't even want to quote me, let alone tell me what products they had.

(I asked for a quote for TWO windows, two had been damaged in the break in, as well as internal doors)

Then he told me HE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME that I had called another company after HE hung up on me, and that company sent a representative to my home within a couple of hours to give me a quote... and their lead time was also shorter -

So I said, now you are calling me a liar?

I told him... you are accusing me of telling stories... being untruthful about the FACT that another company called to my home within a couple of hours...

...then you are calling me a liar.

I told him that my sister was in the room and overheard the entire conversation not only between me and him but was present when the rep from the other company arrived... if he wanted to call her she would tell him the same truth.

He then said said, Of course your sister is going to corroborate your story! (again accusing me of telling stories)

He asked for the name of the other company - I refused to give it to him.

I told him he didn't understand what good customer service was. I told him he didn't show empathy or understanding to my situation, I told him I had never experienced having to deal with a break in and the processes that follow, I told him given that he's in the business of replacing windows I'd imagine he'd understand the upset that such an experience brings with it and he should be more empathetic.

He replied with - So you want me to act like a Therapist?

Then he tried to offer an insincere apology and said 'I really do hope who ever is doing your windows does a good job'.

I told him I didn't accept his apology
as he didn't lead with an apology at the start of the phone conversation... he led by insulting me further!

I'm aghast at the attitude and arrogance of this rep.

It would serve them well to realise that Senator Windows are not the only players in the market... and the competition is wiping the floor with them on the customers experience/service front.

Installed new front door .wrong handle was fitted so door has be replaced no issues these things happen
Current door that's in tho has a fault and a child could open it .unbelievable poor aftersales .now I'm trying cancel the new door as its crap and have no faith in them
Avoid at all cost trust me thought was good door as Waste crazy money
Door is worse than the 10 year old door I put in skip
Have to go legal to get issues resolved. Stay away can't stress it enough

Senator (Killarney) provided 2 doors and 18 windows. The team completed the installation in 3 days with no mess, minimum disruption and the complete removal of the old products.
The quality of the tripled glazed windows and doors is outstanding and already the insulation benefits are being experienced.
Head Office service is friendly and efficient.
Definitely recommend.

To be honest it doesn't even worth the time to write a review.
I just wanted to know a price for a door and they started to ask full name, county, address, eircode, phone number and the list can continue for just a price. I just needed to know what price a door has.
Disappointed...

Senator are by far the best team of workmen we have ever had in our home! The job was big and Pa, Chris and Aaron were a pleasure to have in our home. Their workmanship is excellent, they were efficient, extremely clean and genuinely nice guys! We are delighted with our new windows and doors - we would definitely recommend Senator for quality and price! Thanks so much

Just got my work from Senator Windows completed this morning. I can't praise them enough for their quality, price, reliability and their customer service. Very efficient and very friendly to deal with. Excellent service all round. Would highly recommend senator windows to anyone looking to have Windows and doors replaced. 😀👌.

Was corresponding with them starting mid Feb (Ennis office) Gave them quite detailed specs for triple glazed passive windows. Despite some follow up on my behalf, never even received a quote nor heard anything back from them at all! In the meantime, I contacted Munster joinery, found them much more efficient, had rep come out, placed an order in mid March. These were now fitted today, 8th June and I'm happy. Pricing and quality excellent.
What the hell is happening with Senator Windows? Of course they are still advertising as if they are the bee's knees!

Senator supplied the windows and doors for a new house I bought. 4-5 window glasses have cracks and door handle broken. Visited 2 times, admitted, promised to come back but never fixed. Would never recommend to anyone

They only care about getting your money! The level of customer support we received was appalling, along with numerous problems with the installation.
If anything goes wrong with the installation or performance of their product, their first reaction is to blame someone else - the glass supplier, the homeowner, anybody but themselves.
In our case they did not abide by the terms and conditions of the contract and they have reneged on promises to repair installation failures, even after they have seen and acknowledged the failings.
We got new windows and doors fitted in December 2021 and we have still not received any kind of satisfactory support for the ongoing problems.

Its also interesting to note how few responses Senator give to negative reviews here! Further proof that they are not interested in supporting their customers.

I am so disappointed with Senator Windows. I am waiting eight years for them to readjust my front door. Water pours in the sides in the Winter. The glass in my patio door has degraded to the point that I cannot see through it. Three windows crackled during sunny weather. The first time they admitted it was faulty and replaced the glass but they will not return to replace the other two. They are a very stressful company to deal with and I am sorry I ever used them.

Very good company. We are so happy with our new windows. The installers was brilliant and didn't leave any mess behind. I will recommend them to everyone.
