Have been trying to get a quote from them since December. They insisted we provide the window schedule which we then paid the architect to do up. In the meantime Rationel did up their own window schedule and had a quote back to us within a week. After 3 e-mails to Senator I decided to buy my windows elsewhere even though they had been my first choice!

3000EUR for a door and they caused more damage getting it in than there was with the broken old door. Avoid, get a Glazer/locksmith worth his salt to do it.

Very poor customer service. Salesman who called to look at job failed to follow up with quote and was subsequently rude and very unpleasant on the phone. Would never consider them if getting work done again.

I don't think that they know the meaning of customer care. I have had so many missed deadlines, delays in completion and broken promises. They made a mistake on my order, then took weeks to make good. I had €10,000 of Windows and doors on my house in Mayo, but once I had paid them in full, (my mistake, I know) they didn't want to know about a thing. They wouldn't return my calls, emails or texts. I am really worried about my warranty. Never pay them, until you are completely happy. I would NOT recommend them in the first place, however.

I understand the general frustration with Senator; I’ve personally witnessed one complete failure to get the job done...

On the either hand, the job they did for me was ok, albeit the workers were very sloppy, and they responded very quickly to repair a window following a break in.

Would I use them again? No.

Senator installed new Window in my house about ten years ago, one was leaking from the time of installation. I’ve called over and over again about it but nothing has being done. They have called out but I think it’s obvious it was never installed correctly so looks like I’m just left with the problem. Every time we have heavy rain I’ve a massive puddle on my sitting room floor. My toddler fell in it this evening so I’m putting this review up in annoyance, knowing nothing will ever be done about it but hopefully it might help someone else decide where to buy their windows.

After paying €2300 for a front door from these people less than a year later the seal was hanging off . I called and was told someone would come out . After several months of phone calls and being fobbed off a man came out. He did not even turn the engine off his car . He knocked on the door , pulled the seal that was hanging off completely and said he would be back . That was 4 months ago and several more phone calls to them I am still waiting. I would never recommend this company to anyone. In fact I would positively discourage anyone from buying anything from them in the future.

Where do I start, ordered a front door, was told I would have it between 5 and 6 weeks. Paid half of the deposit. They rang to say they were coming out to measure on a Thursday was in hospital so got it measured the following Monday. Rang after 5 weeks and they advised it was not ready it would be the following week. Anyway we got it after 9 weeks and a lot of phone calls. The man came to instal the door however the side panels were not right so took the door back to the factory. He arrived the next day with the door and a wooden side panel until the other one is made up. He came back a few days later and installed the side panel. When fitting the door the bell broke. So we could not use the one I ordered for the door , he said he would buy me a wireless door bell or give me €100 back , I asked him to order the bell. And what a surprise a month later I am still chasing it up. He was out sick and he forgot about it. He says he will send me a Chequers, we will see.
If I had to do it again I would stay well away from them, how they are still in operation I don’t know.

Ordered in January, paid 50 percent on order, order said balance on completion and 4 to 6 weeks for fitting, requested a fitting date in Feb and was told mid March probably 19th, not advised of change so assumed 19th still the date, they didn’t arrive, set new date for 1st of April but now they want the balance prior to this, we won’t agree to that as it’s not what we agreed at the time of order so they are refusing to fit, looks like legal action to resolve this, steer clear of this company.

Myself and neighbour purchased our brand new homes with Senator Windows and doors installed, it was one of the selling points. But there are pieces of plastic between the two sheets of glass inside some of the windows and other ones still have labels on the glass sandwiched inside the window. Both homes have had our doors develop extensive cracking and these need to be replaced. We contacted Senator Windows who refuse to do anything as they state the warranty is only with the builder and not the house owner!!! They will not honour their warranty after all we were the ones that paid for the windows. The builder has since sold his business so we can't get him to do anything. Senator have just waked away after taking thousands of euros from the both of us. Avoid these cowboys at all costs. They have been nothing but extremely rude and aggressive towards us they take the money and run no pride at all in the job or their products and the so called extensive 15 year warranty is completely useless. Now won't even reply to our letters of complaint which we have sent recorded mail to them. With attitudes like this they don't deserve to be in business in 2016. We did not even get a 15 minute warranty Their website talks a lot about customer care but in fact they only care about taking customers money and providing no after care at all. Totally disgraceful in this day and age..
