I cannot praise Macauley at the Tiverton office highly enough. He has just sorted out grant of probate for me. I had a period of illness just after I had contacted Macauley, where I had to stay with my daughter and didnt have access to paperwork etc. Macauley was so patient and kind during this period. He kept me informed and was so helpful.
Once I recovered and was able to send the documents required to Macauley, he dealt with it so quickly and within a week or so it is all sorted. Thank you Macauley.

My experience with Slee Blackwell was very positive, I cannot give enough praise to James McNally and Katie Oxley who were with us throughout the journey.

We hired Kirsty Jones in 2023 as first time buyers from outside the UK, as recommended by friends. She was so quick and thorough and we had a great experience with her and her team, so when we sold our house in 2026, we got a few quotes from other solicitors but ultimately wanted to work with Kirsty again since we trusted her efficiency. Once again, she was always quick to respond and we knew she wasn’t wasting any time. She will always be our go-to for property buying and selling! Dog bite

Katie and James were incredible in helping me claim back compensation for a dog bite I had to my face. They kept me updated throughout and were very helpful! I would 100% recommend them, very happy client!

About as much use as a chocolate teapot! I sent an email to Slee Blackwell Taunton inquiring about a Will mismanagement, and the Taunton office replied, asking me to forward the Will. I did so, and received a reply saying that "the executor can deal with the Will in any way he sees fit". Wrong!
