Ordered in November — still no item, no communication

I placed my order in November and was told it would be dispatched in mid-December. When nothing arrived, I contacted customer service — they apologised and moved the date to the end of December. It’s now January, and I still have no item and no update.
Customer service takes about a week to reply each time, and every reply is just another delayed date with no explanation and no solution. This feels unreliable and unacceptable — the communication and service have been extremely poor.

Da appassionato di domotica che sta modernizzando la propria abitazione con SwitchBot, questo Termostato (Combo Matter) Ú stato un upgrade intelligente per i termosifoni.
L’installazione Ú semplice: adattatori inclusi per le valvole standard, montato in pochi minuti senza interventi tecnici. L’app SwitchBot permette di creare programmi orari e automazioni intelligenti con rilevamento finestre aperte.
Utilizzo già diversi dispositivi SwitchBot: l’Hub per comandare televisore e climatizzatore, il Bot per aprire il cancello da remoto quando non ho le chiavi, sensori di temperatura per controllare il clima e accendere/spegnere termosifoni e climatizzatori solo quando necessario. Questo termostato si integra perfettamente in questo ecosistema, espandendo la smart home gradualmente senza rifare impianti.

Really impressed SwitchBot Bot (+ Hub Mini)

Really impressed with this little gadget SwitchBot Bot (plus Hub mini). I got it to turn on my computer remotely and it does exactly that—flawlessly.
Setup took just a few minutes, the build quality feels solid, and it just works. Every time. Being able to power on my PC from anywhere is super convenient and I haven't had a single issue with it.
If you need a simple way to press a button when you're not there, this thing nails it. Highly recommend.

I love them all

I have the curtain opener and the blind tilts, love both products (and have multiple). Easy to set up, timetable set and saves going around the house each night closing everything and great for those hard to reach windows.
I had an issue with one tilt, customer service were great and shipped a new one straight away. Also got a remote so can use that for the blinds if I don’t want to keep to the schedule. Amazing system and reasonably priced compared to dedicated smart blinds. (Retrofitted onto Dunelm blinds)

Happy Switchbot user

I own several SwitchBot products, including the curtains, blinds, thermometers, robot vacuum, and a relay switch. Although I haven't tried out the relay switch just yet, I am incredibly happy with SwitchBot overall. The battery life on these products is impressive, especially considering devices like the curtains get used every day. Installation is also very simple, and the clear user manuals are a huge plus.

I rarely experience any issues. Occasionally the app might freeze, but after restart it works great again.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with SwitchBot and look forward to your new products!

Great startup with a wide range of


Great startup with a wide range of products. Easy to use, implement and for a competing price. I have multiple devices, ranging from cameras to meters and a humidifier. All great. All usable in one app and all integrated. Besides the easiness of use the design of all products is also very appealing! Would recommend Switchbot to all.

Absolute Dead Set Legends (Review by an Aussie)

As we Aussies say “Absolute dead set legends”.

My first order was in early 2023 and I’m still going strong.

My place is full of SwitchBot gear (App says 68 items to be exact) and it’s all top notch quality, and BTW their iOS and Android apps are awesome.

I’ve never had any issues with one of their products. Never had a DOA or one of their products fail.

But rest assured if you need help they’ve got your back, as their Customer Service is brilliant. Never experienced any issues and everything just works and continues to work.

I also have a large amount to of lighting products from another company who use Matter over Thread. Non stop problems, things stop working and their Customer Service can’t hold a light to SwitchBot’s.

The only issue I had related to my home setup and configuration, and it was my balls up. But SwitchBot still did absolutely everything they could to help with reps who know their products inside out.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Fácil de configurar, rápido y muy práctico

Instalación rapidísima y sin complicaciones, se sincroniza al instante con la aplicación y con Matter. La respuesta es inmediata y la medición del consumo es muy precisa. En mi caso, lo uso para el calentador del baño y me ha permitido evitar un gasto innecesario de unos 6 kWh al día cuando no lo uso, especialmente en vacaciones. También funciona como puente para otros dispositivos SwitchBot, como mi sensor de agua, garantizando una conexión estable. Muy recomendable para quien busque control, ahorro y fiabilidad en un solo dispositivo.

Actualización:
Esta es ya mi tercera compra. En esta ocasión lo he usado para hacer inteligente el árbol de Navidad, encendiéndolo y apagándolo fácilmente con Alexa o desde la app.

Lo mejor sigue siendo la seguridad: mientras otros enchufes simplemente se queman o dañan la instalación si hay exceso de carga, este detecta el consumo excesivo y se apaga automáticamente para proteger el propio enchufe y la instalación eléctrica. Es un detalle clave que marca la diferencia.

Cancelled order after 3 month delay

I ordered the Switch Bot S20 in the November sale. When it didnt arrive i followed up and learned the estimate was end of January. When it didnt arrive again I followed up and learned the new estimate was end of Feb. Something very wrong with their supply chain and no communication to the customer. Had no choice but to cancel the order.

Items never received

I placed a fairly large order with SwitchBot over a month ago during the Black Friday sales and, to date, I still have not received the items I paid for.

After chasing the order with customer services, I was informed that one of the items was out of stock and would not be restocked. This was the first I had heard of it. When I questioned why this had never been communicated to me, I received a patronising response thanking me for my “initiative”, despite the website stating delivery would take 1–3 business days and more than a week having already passed.

In their message they offered an alternative product, which I accepted within the hour. At that point, the representative I was dealing with (Iris) completely stopped responding. I had to send two follow-up emails just to get a reply.

When Iris finally responded more than ten days later, I was told that I should use the app next time if I wanted a quicker response. Why on earth would I download and use an app for a product I haven’t even received yet, simply to chase an online order?

I was then told that logistics had been informed about the replacement item and that I would receive a shipping notification shortly. That was over a week ago. I have received nothing.

As it stands, SwitchBot have taken my money, failed to deliver my order, and repeatedly ignored my attempts to resolve the situation. This is simply terrible customer service and extremely poor business practice.

Placed an order 3 weeks ago, no response

Placed an order 3 weeks ago, absolutely zero correspondence or updates regarding what is happening despite all products being in stock at the time of ordering. Submitted a ticket a 10 days ago requesting an update which took 6 days for a reply which basically said we might try to ship your order soon, can't even cancel the order because they don't respond to anything.

Best choice for non-intrusive home automation solution

I’ve been using SwitchBot products for over 3 years now, starting from the very first bot, and I’m genuinely impressed with how reliable they’ve been. Every device still works perfectly and continues to receive regular updates.

For anyone living in an apartment where you can’t make physical modifications, SwitchBot is honestly the best solution. It’s simple to install, non-intrusive, and just works.

I’ve reached out to their support team a couple of times to share feedback and feature requests, and they were super easy to contact directly through the app. The responses were quick, clear, and helpful.

Schlechter Kundendienst

Bestellung abgegeben, Switchbot hat DPD eine unvollstÀndige Adresse angegeben, obwohl sie durch mich korrekt Ìbermittelt wurde. Ware wurde knapp einen Monat nach der Bestellung durch DPD an Switchbot versendet. Switchbot support hat trotz Nachfragen nichts unternommen.

Terrible customer service

I'm sure Switchbot make good products. My experience hasn't been that. My S10 failed after 2 days and 2 months later hasn't been resolved and trying to take advantage of their 30 day guaranteed refund is a joke. I've had to continually chase to get updates that take days to get a reply. If you never need the customer service then I'm sure it'll all be okay. If you do though... Best of luck!
