What great service
What great service! I set up my account and managed to get it configured broadly as I needed it. The system is very capable though, and there were some things I wasn't sure about. I tend to put off phoning companies unless it's unavoidable because it is so often a miserable experience, so I was delighted that Caroline phoned me today to ask whether there was anything I needed help with. She couldn't have been nicer, extremely helpful and answered all my many questions - nothing was too much trouble. Even better, the answers to the questions opened up other ways that the system can be of benefit and I'll be taking another couple of services. There was no pressure from Caroline to do so, she seemed only to want to make sure that she answered every question that occurred to me as clearly as possible. It is so nice to deal with a communications company that has excellent communications, I'm slightly shocked!

Easy to use phone number provider
Very easy to use, practical to have a number I can divert and manage. Caroline was very helpful with admin on the account when I needed some assistance.

Service levels now very poor...
I was asked by TTNC to provide a review in April and wrote the words at the end of this review.
Sadly I now realise why TTNC took the time to phone me and ask me to post a review. Their service levels have deteriorated considerably since they were taken over by Chess and they are getting so many one star reviews that they were trying to compensate. There is no way to contact a human being there any more. How come they cannot see that this is unacceptable for a "communications" company. I first sent a message on 27th June 2026 saying there was an issue with my data. Each day I got a message back saying the issue had been fixed. Each day I messaged back to say it had not. It was only when I posted a one star Google review that within an hour I got an email with the heading "1* Google review received" that even attempted to sort the issue. Unfortunately the fix was to tell me they no longer offered FTP and would now email me the data. I'm still waiting, nearly a month later, to get the data from the end of June. My suggestion is that, if you have an issue, leave a one star Google review immediately. If they get enough of them perhaps they will ditch the AI and reinstate helpful humans.
April's review...
I've been using TTNC since 2008 so you can tell I'm impressed. They offer a great service and their Web site management system is really easy to use. I had a friendly call from Caroline today asking me to leave a review which I'm happy to do. It was good to speak with you Caroline.

Long-term customer, but now stuck with a broken service and no support
I’ve been a customer since 2013, so it’s pretty disappointing to be writing this.
I recently bought voicemail pro for one of our numbers with TTNC, but something went wrong on their end during setup. The order has just been stuck on “Processing order, please wait” ever since. Because of that, I can’t actually use the number, which is a real problem as we need it up and running urgently.
I flagged it as urgent and chased it a few times over several days. It’s not a complicated issue and clearly needs someone to step in and fix it manually, but nothing has been sorted.
What’s made it even more frustrating is the lack of proper support. There’s no way to speak to a real person. If you call them, you just get a recorded message telling you to use the self service platform. There’s no option for a callback either. Emails seem to be getting read, but no one replies. When you raise a ticket through the help portal, you get a reference number and an acknowledgement, then nothing. And the so called live chat isn’t actually live, it’s just an AI assistant that can’t deal with issues like this.
So when something does go wrong, you’re basically stuck with no way to get help or move things forward.
TTNC used to be really good, both in terms of service and support, which makes this even more disappointing. Based on this experience, things have clearly gone downhill. If your business relies on dependable telecoms and proper support when there’s a problem, I’d honestly suggest looking elsewhere. It’s not something I say lightly after being with them for so long and recommending them to others in the past.

What you’ve described around the Voicemail Pro order being stuck in a “processing” state is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We’re also very concerned to hear about the difficulty you’ve had getting timely support and clear communication while trying to resolve this. That’s understandably disappointing, particularly given your long history with us.
Your comments around support accessibility, response times, and the limitations of automated channels have been noted and taken seriously. When something goes wrong, you should be able to reach someone who can take ownership and move things forward, and we’re sorry this didn’t happen in your case.

Caroline called today to help me configure my phone number for our charity.
In all honesty, Caroline was easy to talk to and understand, she explained everything in a simple and professional manor. I was appropriately guided step by step using my mobile.
I was encouraged to activate certain aspects of my package to get the most out of the service.
Caroline was very patient and her advice was much valued.

Worked with TTNC for over a decade and…
Worked with TTNC for over a decade and only recently started using their VoIP services. I must say they really over deliver with this service - it was much easier to setup as expected, and at affectively £6 a user, it's much cheaper than alternatives and works very well. Great company to work with, would highly recommend.
