First time working with an agency…
I was made very welcome by Rosie and Shannon at the Liverpool Branch. Always there to give a helping hand!

Not only Ben but also every one in the Sheffield branch is so capable and efficient. Tradewind promises you work and actually grants you placements in school. They will always ask you first so you can discuss with them. They are all very nice and friendly, ensuring things are negotiable.

Horrible agency. They call you an hour before the start of your shift and expect you to be ready and out of the house in 10 minutes to work in a school that takes 2 different busses to get to. When I told them that it is impossible for be to be ready in 10 minutes and arrive to the school on time, the two agents who I spoke to on the phone were so rude and passive aggressive towards me. I have never in my life encountered an agency that calls their employee an hour before the start of their shift and tells them to be ready in 10 minutes. 10 minutes is not even enough to have breakfast and brush your teeth! A professional agency informs the employee a couple of days or at the least the night before that they are booked in for a shift. This agency is a joke and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Since I have worked for tradewind I can’t thank everyone in the team enough for the constant support that I have received I have worked along side Clare during this time, during this time I’ve had many calls supporting me and helping me with new challenges and can’t thank Clare enough for this.

Shawny is an wonderful professional to work with. I have a constant stream of work, finding me relevant work due to her great communication. Shawny is incredibly friendly and has an amazingly positive energy, she has listened to my individual needs, taking them on board when assigning. I joined Tradewind Recruitment in 2021 and never looked back. I am a subject specialist and usually serve long-term placements. Andy arranged a long-term placement in a new school months in advance for me. Upon arrival to a new school I found out that instead of 2-3 terms placement they intent to have me there for two weeks or so until a new member of staff that was hired a week earlier obtains his work permit. A school did not advise Andy about changed circumstances. We both were shocked and appalled how badly schools can treat supply teachers as well as their agencies. Andy advised me to leave straight away insuring that I am getting paid for the day. Straight away, he organised an immediate return to my old school so I haven't lost a day of work. Thanks, Andy!

I joined Tradewind recruitment in September 2023 looking for part time work. The consultant's were in contact with me for every step of the registration process which was simple and pain free! Since working for Tradewind I have had no shortage of work and have been lucky to pick and choose my hours/days I want to work. Alex from the Hull branch has been particularly amazing at supporting me with submitting of timesheet etc. Alex is in regular contact to ensure I am happy to continue at the current placement and he always confirms the hours I have been booked for prior to the week. I am very happy working with Tradewind and I am looking forward to my future employment opportunities with them!
