Well Done and thank you. I ordered a part from Velodromeshop as something of a last resort as they had one of very very few available due to the manufacturer discontinuing the line. While other suppliers gouged the price these guys retained great value for money and dealt with my order swiftly. Unfortunately, on pre-delivery inspection the part was found to be faulty and the supplier emailed me swiftly to report that they were not shipping and had refunded my money.
They offered an alternative part that was equally as good and fully compatible with my intended use at a price I was more than happy with, with immediate delivery so I was not disadvantaged in any way.
Excellent, professional service, felt like dealing with my LBS, a great price and knowledgeable staff to give advice.
Well done and thank you very much indeed, I will now be a regular client.

Dont buy at this shop - Delivery times over 30 days and they are not able to track parcels, and no support from customer service

I've ordered from Velodromeshop several times. Always satisfied with products and receive in good condition. Customer service is great as emailed twice with product questions and received clear reply within hours.

Very helpful staff, great service.
Prices are competitive. Sell the rare track items that are hard to get.

Terrible service, absolutely diabolical. Ordered some parts that I needed fairly urgently, after 5-6 working days I contact them asking for tracking information as my purchase hasn't arrived yet (website quotes 2-4). I was told there is not tracking info but the parcel should arrive soon. 10 working days later parts still have not arrived. Emailed again, I'm told I will have to wait a total of 16 working days before they will send a replacement or refund my money. Asked if I could place a second order have them put faster shipping on it and then get a refund on the first order once they decide they can do it. The response was NO. Worst customer service I've ever had once they have your money they no longer care what happens. Nothing but apologies and excuses to do with royal mail, a service they choose to use and also choose not to provide a better postage option.

They tried to reassure me that this is a very rare thing, only wish I had checked the previous reviews and realized that was a lie before placing my order.

Best avoided. Order was delayed which was partly my fault but when it did arrive it was incomplete. Was told the item was not in stock and refunded after a fair few emails (no phone number). Biggest problem for me is that they continue to list this item as in stock. Don’t use if you are in a hurry for anything.

Ordered a chainring in June, after it hadn't arrived in over a month they've asked me to wait until the end of august before agreeing to send a replacement. They've also promised to send a compensation for the delay, but a compensation was never sent. The bottom line is that it took them 3 months to deliver a simple chainring.

On top of that, I see that they've responded to my review that the address I've made my order to was the wrong address. There was nothing wrong with the address I ordered to, it's the same address I make all of my orders to. I highly recommend not buying from them.

Ordered two vittoria tubulars, one was not sealed at the valve. The other was not sealed all around the sidewall.

Better on price for selected items than some big names out there. Prompt reply on issues.

My heart sank when I read the reviews and expected the worst!
However, after ordering on a Monday items that weren't available anywhere else in the UK and at an amazing price, come Thursday everything was delivered safe and sound as hoped.
I'm not a shill and I am usually the first to complain at poor service but on this occasion, Velodrome shop came through.

I'd have to echo some of the reviews previously.
I waited two weeks from date of supposed dispatch and nothing was ever received. The shop also shut down from Dec 23- Jan 9th. They use signed for Royal Mail 48 which cannot be tracked until a delivery attempt is made.
Thankfully they did respond promptly to my emails and accepted that I had not received the items and bought elsewhere. They then refunded my account within 5 days of notification.
Disappointing customer experience but not a fraudulent website as some have alluded too. I would recommend you move to a tracked RM service Velodromeshop!

Ordered an EAI cog from Velodromeshop. Besides being the only shop that had stock within the UK the item arrived promptly after 2 days. Great guys!

8 days from email saying order sent. Zero has arrived. I now accept that it will never arrive. no response to emails sent and there has been numerous. Thankfully it was only £50 worth but these guys seem to a scam

At first when you see the velodromeshop's prices you think you will be saving some money on your bike parts. Unfortunately, when you order something from them, your life becomes filled with a lot more aggravation than you need.

I ordered a Sugino 75 DD crankset and Zen chainring on May 12 and four Vittoria tubulars on May 20. Their web site says that shipments will arrive in 7-10 days and by email they sometimes say that it is actually a 6-day service even for international shipping to the U.S.

I waited 3 weeks for the crankset/chainring and contacted them. They told me that if I waited another 2 months, I could file a Royal Mail report for a missing item. When I waited another week and eventually let them know that I had been waiting for a month, all of a sudden it turned out that they do in fact have tracking numbers (but normally keep them hidden from their customers). I mentioned in one of my emails that I was also still waiting for the second order (the tires) and I gave them the order number. However, they completely ignored this information.

Another few days later (about 5 weeks after the order), I received a box from the velodromeshop. Guess what? They forgot the chainring! Yup, not kidding you. After all of this, it turned out that not only do they use a cheap and unreliable shipping service (never happens with other online vendors that ship from the UK), they also didn't put the right items in the box. They then tell me that they are so sorry and will send me the chainring.

I let another 2 weeks go by and ask about my order with the four tubular tires. In the response email they say they are sorry and ask..... if I want to CANCEL that order because of my previous bad experiences. Are you following me? One month after I ordered the tires, they realize that they forgot to send the tires for which they took my money, despite my reminding them 2 weeks ago that I had already been waiting a long time for those tires.

Draw your own conclusions.

Don't bother.... they don't use a tracked delivery service so I was originally told I simply had to wait 3 weeks before they'd admit my order was lost. After 2 weeks I called the royal mail who said it could be declared lost, so I contacted Velodrome shop again. Suddenly they could 'find' my order and then claimed it was delivered. The proof of delivery is certainly not my signature and despite me telling them it has not been delivered to my home or any of my neighbours they fail to take any responsibility. I've just been too busy since then to bother arguing with them so have given up on my £100 but as we all know cycling is a small community so they've lost an aweful lot of business from keen bike builders because of this.

Positives first: Good price and bike delivered very quickly. Customer service is very responsive (though no phone number). On the down side there were a number of surprises: fork steerer supplied uncut and fork/headset not fitted to frame, small chip on fork paintwork, headset crown race not fitted and missing, brake lever omitted, brake calipers not what I ordered. So a frustrating and not the smoothest experience, though all these initial issues were resolved successfully within a week.

I subsequently down rated my review, because now discovered that the BB spindle is too short and the chainset spider catches on the frame if its tightened on the spindle above a push fit. Crank had been supplied just pushed on the spindle to mask this problem. Something is very wrong with the way the bikes are being put together, though all is probably fine if you just want component parts.

Had to pay for the headset crown race to be fitted, but a new bottom bracket unit with a longer spindle, and fit the forks myself.

Velodrome shop (michelle) replied 3 years later to my review that they had no record of my email or details, which is strange considering that Michelle was one of the people I was dealing with. My order number is 9215531. This illustrates how much you can trust this company.
