I usually dread going into a phone shop but today was exceptional

Vodafone UK in Ely offers great customer service. Ana and Thea were professional and friendly, while Oliver helped save £50 on monthly contracts. It's clear the staff genuinely care about meeting customer needs and finding the best plans available. Overall, a reliable and helpful local store making upgrades and queries hassle-free. 4/5 stars!

Olly was extremely helpful, he helped me pick out a new phone and found a good plan to go with it. He was very polite and made sure I was happy with everything. He really did go above and beyond.

Thea is the best
Thea is the best. I tried to pay my device fully but I couldn't do it on the app. When I called customer service I could only do partial payment. Thea is a star. She managed to get the payment through in a few minutes.

Terrible service in the Ely store…
Terrible service in the Ely store today. When I arrived the two staff were serving people, but at no point did they acknowledge I was waiting. When one set of customers left I went to pick up the iPhone I had ordered online. It was painful… Ana asked for my phone number, then claimed it was the wrong number of digits in a very accusatory tone. After repeating my number several times I suggested looking for order a different way. I gave her my order number, which she entered incorrectly, then eventually found my order. There was no real desire to help, no apology for the frustrating experience, and barely a thank you, she would’ve bern quite happy for me to leave without my phone. Definitely won’t recommend this store to anyone in Ely.

Superb!
Thea at the Ely store was very thorough at checking my account to ensure the deal was the best fit for me, and also providing a review and recommendations for the numbers also attached to my account. It was such an easy transaction because Thea listened to my requirements and helped me find a solution. She is an asset to Vodafone!
This is a completely different experience to that which I had when visiting the Cambridge grand arcade four weeks ago. The staff in Cambridge could certainly learn some customer service skills from Thea!

Harry (at the Ely branch) was able to explain, advise and show me how I needed to free up storage to enable an update. He was patient, understanding and friendly. At my request, he even wrote down the step-by-step instructions and additional helpful notes.

All of the staff in my local Vodafone shop are friendly and helpful but one stands out, Thea. She goes above and beyond to explain everything clearly and is never judgemental when I can't do something basic with my phone
