We did the Welcome to Venice tour on…
We did the Welcome to Venice tour on our first day in Venice and we were jet lagged and exhausted but this was the perfect way to help us push through our first day! We felt like we got to see so much more of the city and learn so much more than we would have if we had just explored on our own and it made it easier for us to explore on our own the following day. 100% recommend!

The tour guide was exceptionally…
The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. The only thing impeding us giving her a 5 star review was that she should better tailor her dialogue to the receiving audience. What we mean by this is she addressed us as if we were art history majors and discussed brush strokes... extensively. Not something our particular tour audience was interested in. Having said that she was the perfect person to be conducting this tour and we really enjoyed it.

The tours were organized and seamless. All our guides were really passionate and knowledgeable about their cities. Definitely didn’t regret adding this to our budget and itinerary since made our understanding of the cities we visited a lot deeper. Til next time!

The Best Way to Experience the Colosseum and Vatican.
I absolutely recommend Walks of Italy. I did a lot of research and read countless reviews before booking tours for the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Colosseum—and Walks of Italy consistently came out on top. I’m so glad I chose them.
Our Colosseum guide, Kylie, was exceptional—factual, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate. Her deep understanding of the events, dates, people, and history surrounding the Colosseum brought everything to life.
We toured the Vatican with Rosaria, who was equally outstanding. Her profound knowledge of the history, artists, events, and timelines behind the artworks, sculptures, and artefacts made the experience unforgettable. The depth of insight she provided was truly mind-blowing.
