Whiskey exchange, what a company. I am a collector of Jack Daniels and the hard to find bottles (JD Halo) are very limited and hard to find. There are big companies out there, all of which let me down. That was until I came across Whiskey Exchange. This company did more than provide me with goods, but went the extra (4000) miles. It should be the only company people are using for any bottles of whiskey. The Amazon of the whiskey world. Using them changes the mediocrity of the ordering process that stiffels the Internet and provides an immersive experience once tried you'll never go anywhere else. So I look forward to growing my collection with their help and spreading the word about this one of a kind gem.

Excellent service; hard to get whiskey

Excellent experience with Whisky Situation. I’ve been purchasing from them for the last 2 years and everything has been great. They have bottles that I cannot get in the States and they offer them at fair prices with good shipping prices. Each bottle has been fulfilled and shipped quickly and always arrives much sooner than other retailers. And most importantly, the bottles arrive in perfect condition. Carlos is one of the most hardworking, dedicated and honest people that I've had the pleasure of meeting. He truly goes above and beyond for his customers. He travels long distances and drives really far, works early mornings and late nights to get you what you are looking for. He drove across 3 states just to get me a bottle of Garrison Brothers. I have seen what he does first hand when he was in the United States, he helped me out a lot! He told me he would be back in a couple of days with a distillery exclusive and then showed up again with the goods! I have never had service like this! An awesome human being above all. I will be back again for more and support what you do.

Just horrid. Order was due august 4, 2026 at latest. All sorts of stories around delays and more stories. Feels like delay tactics to run put the clock on the chargeback. Promises for extra items to compensate. Gaps in communication. Drew line in the sand of sept 16, got sent a picture that they had the missing item in hand. Asked for a ship date and havent heard anything for days again now.

To recap:
Order was placed July 16, the website said 10 working days to ship, which aligned with an August 4 or so delivery date (July 30 plus time to ship)
Asked for update July 26, told that the Garrison was "due shortly" (and advised I could have the other part of the order in the original delivery window if I pay extra for shipping (when none of this is my fault)
Checked in August 7, no reply.
Checked in Again August 10, no reply.
Checked in August 11/12/14, requesting firm update by August 15, told the Garrison would be in store August 19.
Asked August 20, said by 25th either confirm shipping or cancel the order/refund.
Reply sent August 25 that they were coming to store August 28/30.
Asked Sept 1 - told "very close"
Asked Sept 9, advising ship or cancel by Sept 16.
Sept 11 sent note that by end of day on 16th, either ship or cancel. If not done, a chargeback will be filed.
Reply on Sept 11 a chargeback is not needed and providing a bunch of excuses.
I replied Sept 12 reiterating the Sept 16 deadline.
Sept 16 I get a picture from the distillery after asking for a firm ship date.
Sept 20 chargeback was filed.

I always appreciate well packaged bottles that are safely delivered and this did not disappoint. I recommend this retailer and would certainly use them again.

Very difficult to get a bottle of Springbank 21 whisky so when I saw one for sale on Whisky Situation website I decided to go for it. Very swift delivery, beautifully packaged, I was very happy when it arrived. Haven’t opened it yet but I will do so soon! Bought it to enjoy. I’m impressed with the choice at Whisky Situation and will be using them again. Would definitely recommend having a look.
