Great experience through out nothing was left out when questioned about the car service and mot was spot on over great experience will be recommending people and will be back here

I seen a car I wanted online on their website and went to view it the same day,John from the office was very good with me and understood that I wanted to take the car that day,we talked and haggled and after a phone call to his boss a new lower price was agreed ,let's hope the car lasts well with no problems, seems great so far.Cheers John and team at Williams.

Unfortunately there isn’t an option for zero because that’s what I would have given this company. I bought a car from them in August, on the same day the engine management light came on, I took the car to my local garage to get a diagnostic report to which it showed that there was multiple faults with the car, I got intouch with Williams motor company and they agreed to take the care back and fix the problems (also sent them the diagnostic report I got) a couple of days later I got the car back, a week or so later the engine management light came back on, I got another diagnostic report which showed the same fault that it was sent back for, so I sent the car back again with my diagnostic report, they had the car for over a week and assured me that it was fixed, a couple of weeks after I got my car back the car was still faulty, making a rattling noise and struggling to start. I phoned Williams motor company and asked for reports from the garage that worked on my car to see what repairs had been done but they refuse to give me them. The car has now broken down and the garage (which is nearly 4 hours away) expect me to either pay to get the car fixed to take it back to them or pay £350 for a loader to come and collect the. I am refusing to do both as this garage have sold me a faulty car and not fixed the car when it has been sent back to them, so I am now intouch with my finance company to see if we can resolve the situation.
Please read reviews on this garage before buying from them because I wish I did, I’m not the only one who they have sold a faulty car to.
This garage should not be allowed to still sell cars.
I have written to the financial ombudsman and trading standards about this company.

So wish I could give no star, worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life, paid deposit on a car, they started putting the car through an MOT, so I paid in full for the car, found out it’d failed on emissions, checked the previous MOT same thing, spoke to a mechanic and he said don’t buy it, rang them to let them know I had changed my mind. They said I’d lose my £200 deposit and it would take 14 days to get my money back. I spoke to them after about 10 days, they promised the money would be back in my account on the Friday for definite. I went somewhere else and bought a car and paid a deposit to reserve it until the Friday when I got my money back. On the Friday the money hadn’t gone back in my account, I rang several times that day and the staff was very rude, especially Andy, I explained I needed the money back that day because I had paid a deposit on a car somewhere else, and it was only being held until the end of that day, then if I hadn’t paid I would lose my deposit. They deliberately didn’t pay the money back on that day and made me wait until the Monday so I lost the car I had reserved elsewhere and my deposit. Terrible company, terrible staff. And very questionable MOTS

Useless company, spent 3 hours driving a car for delivery, to deliver it to me broken. Won’t take ownership and won’t fix

Had car delivered to Kent arranged with the dealership which worked really well. Really happy with the car, new MOT and all paperwork with it.

Williams car sales lmao should be called Williams scrap cars.Bought a Mercedes glc from these cowboys a lot of money,but more to the point a lot of problems.it got delivered and within 10 minutes of it being delivered I was finding problem after problem,no cover on fuse box , parcel shelf broken windscreen cracked,front grille missing parts and a dead battery in key fob,also only 4 months mot.i rang dealer straightaway and was told to “nip down Halfords and get a new battery.they said they would sort out the cosmetics but could I put it through an mot,which I did at my own expense only to find out it needed 3 new tyres,brakes all round ,linkage pin and a new windscreen.i rang them again and was offered £1000 to sort out the problems and keep the change….the brakes were gonna cost £800.so I rang again to say the vehicle is coming back at my own expense, taking it back was 220 miles from my house.i found the salesman Andy very rude.Took them over 2 weeks to return funds.so I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there to purchase one of their amazing cars ( cough cough) so my advice to anyone is stay well clear

I’ve been reluctant to write a review because I always feel it’s right to give businesses a chance, but given the serious amount of issues I’ve had since purchasing a car from here I feel it’s only right to let other consumers know. I’ll start with the positives, initially when I had issues with the car, the team were helpful in rectifying missing items, broken parts etc. Eventually they offered a free two year warranty, which I accepted. The car I bought was a Vauxhall Corsa Premium, 2020. It was advertised as pristine condition, no faults listed, and immaculate pictures throughout. I’ll list some of the issues I’ve had since purchase:
- on delivery, the car wasn’t cleaned, had rubbish inside, stank of dogs, had warning lights on, and a flat tyre
- The interior was (and still is) highly soiled. Marked on the roof, cigarette burns etc
- The bonnet handle was broken, a window roller is missing, the parcel shelf was missing, the boot floor was broken, no tyre inflation kit as advertised.
Now the company tried to rectify some of these, replacing some missing and broken parts. Then, within 8 weeks:
- engine fault, electrical wiring issue, fixed at own expense
- the sound system completely failed
Having fixed this, I thought the worst was over. I’d now had the car for 12 weeks. And it failed to start.
- new starter motor required, in garage for 3+ weeks, I had to hire a car. The garage offered to pay the excess as a ‘gesture of good will’.
Again, I hoped the worse was over. Until the bumper started coming off. Turns out the entire front right headlight bracket has been glued (yes glued) back together after what I can only suspect was an accident (which also explains the different colouring of the doors). The whole light bracket is broken when the glue failed, which made the bumper come off (also broken). The cost for a new one of these lights is currently over £300. That’s without the bumper being sorted.

So long story short - at the end of my tether, stuck on a finance agreement for an absolute wreck of a car that has issue after issue. Absolutely not what was sold, and I wish I had returned it when I said I wanted to. It continues to cost me money I don’t have, and is absolutely stressful.

So, all in - I’d avoid this company. I think I would have got a better car from Matilda’s dad. If you do buy, make sure you are 100% sure what you are buying - and take an expert to inspect it.

Great cars at great prices nothing was too much trouble for ang great work

I purchased a car from this company and it broke down after only two months. I took it to a garage for a diagnostic test and discovered several issues, including faulty wiring, a cracked cylinder head, and a poorly fitted/leaking coolant reservoir, causing the engine to overheat. After weeks of disputes, the company stopped answering my calls and directed me to contact the finance company for further complaints. The finance company arranged for the car to be returned to the company for repairs, but when I received the car back a month later, there was no documentation detailing the work that had been done. Despite my attempts to contact the company, they refused to answer my calls and communicate with my broker about the issue. In my experience, this has been the worst company to deal with, and I strongly advise others against purchasing a car from them.

Sold me a car they were fully aware had faults. Engine light came on during the journey home. The Cost of repairs £2000+.

Inspection also showed they cleared the codes themselves!

Rejected my request for refund. Will now have to go through legal proceedings and waste even more time.

It is clear this is a very dodgy operation indeed - Beware.
