STAY VERY FAR AWAY

Club Wyndham canceled my family vacation reservation without telling me. I was informed when I contacted them to confirm my reservation. When I called to try to rebook the reservation I was quoted different prices and different (additional) point values by different representatives for the exact same unit on the same dates. They ended up telling me I would need to pay an additional $900.00 for a reservation they cancelled.

Awful Service

I spent 25 minutes trying to get information corrected on my account on a Sunday. Not only did it not get resolved, but the phone went dead and no one called me back. This has got to be the worst customer service ever.

Now I will have to call back and try to get this resolved. Looking forward to spending more time on hold.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We got suckered into what they promised would be a 90-minute presentation on 11/02/2024, but FOUR HOURS LATER we walked out with a WorldMark timeshare we never should have bought. Right off the bat, I told them I'd been widowed just 9 months earlier and was in a brand new relationship. Did they back off? Nope. Instead, they doubled down with high-pressure tactics and fake urgency, claiming "prices will NEVER be this low again!" Person after person kept coming over for hours, throwing in "free" weeks of vacation to seal the deal. They rushed us through paperwork in about 30 minutes and even had us open a credit card for the down payment.
The lies were unbelievable. They told us "it's not a timeshare, it's real estate" and that it would be "easy to resell", which were completely false. They promised we could rent it out for passive income and vacation "anywhere, anytime," but when we tried booking Hawaii, there was zero availability. Other sites were actually cheaper than using WorldMark. We specifically told them NO JOINT OWNERSHIP due to our new relationship. They smiled and agreed, but guess what? My partner was added as co-owner WITHOUT our clear consent.
They conveniently failed to disclose that maintenance fees skyrocket over time, that special assessments get added on top of regular fees, that our kids would inherit this financial burden, and that we had a legal right to cancel within 5 days under Nevada law. The "free gifts" were worthless with impossible restrictions. The worst part? We've paid $16,800 and have NEVER used it once because we can't get bookings. The relationship ended, but my ex is still stuck on the contract. This company preys on vulnerable people. Save yourself the money and heartache. Run far away

Timeshare review

I strongly advise against purchasing a timeshare through Wyndham Destinations. My experience has been marked by continuous misrepresentations and high-pressure sales tactics from the very beginning. I was initially told that purchasing points would provide flexible vacation options but quickly discovered that adequate usage required buying increasingly more points. Throughout my membership, I've been subjected to mandatory sales presentations disguised as account updates, often being held far longer than promised despite clear time constraints. Sales representatives made false promises about membership benefits, including claims that achieving certain status levels would eliminate maintenance fees, which proved completely untrue. Finding available accommodations at desirable locations and times has been nearly impossible, yet the only solution offered is always to purchase more points. The maintenance fees have escalated continuously with no member input or control over increases. Most disturbingly, during what was presented as a routine account review, my paid-up properties were traded for a new property that came with an unexpected mortgage obligation—a fact not disclosed until after I had signed. The right to rescind was never mentioned. The pattern of deceptive practices, from initial misrepresentations to ongoing high-pressure tactics, demonstrates a complete lack of honest dealing. I feel misled about the true costs, limitations, and obligations of timeshare ownership. Save yourself the financial burden and frustration—do not purchase a Wyndham timeshare.

If there was less than 1 star

If there was less than 1 star, they would get it. After over 20 years of never missing a maintenance payment, i had my wallet pick pocketed and the card stolen that paid maintenance. Behold, the thieves that they are, they assessed me a $300 penalty for being 4 days out of the grace period, after no issues for over 20 years. They waited until after the grace period to notify me that my card was not charging. At every turn Wyndham Vacation Rewards will put it to you, and regardless of their rhetoric about caring , they only care about themselves. If this were my company there would be a culture change.

Even less than one star

Even less than one star. The 2 places we stayed in in Florida were just dirty, ill-kept, with smokers everywhere in spite of the no smoking signs. Sheets and pillow cases were full of stains and hair.The extended stay suite was really shabby and depressing.
There was no breakfast even when advertised. I don’t understand how these places can be rated 3 stars.
This was my first and last experience with Wyndham.I can only strongly recommend to avoid them!

Buyer Beware: Wyndham's High-Pressure Tactics and Broken Promises
My family's experience with Wyndham has been a nightmare of deception and financial hardship. What we were told would be a 90-minute presentation turned into a 3+ hour ordeal with our hungry 13-year-old son. Sales rep Monty used emotional manipulation, emphasizing our "limited time" to make memories before our son grew up, while we grew increasingly exhausted and vulnerable.
We were explicitly promised multiple easy exit options: defer payments "because life happens," pause our membership anytime, or sell it back whenever we wanted. These assurances were outright lies. Nine months later, when our account went negative, we discovered the truth: deferrals only after 12 months with interest and $60 fees, pauses limited to 3 months with hidden $60 charges, and selling back? "The market isn't good right now."
The sales process itself was fraudulent. We were rushed through DocuSign with no mention of our 3-day rescission rights, never received our contract copy, and when we requested one later, Wyndham refused until we caught up on payments. What legitimate business withholds contracts from customers?
The harassment continued during our Branson stays, where "mandatory" member meetings were just more upselling attempts. One salesman even suggested we lie about being sick to avoid them!
Most appalling? Monty's inappropriate personal question when my wife left the table left me stunned and uncomfortable.
We've paid approximately $10,000 into this predatory scheme. The constant pressure, misrepresentations, and refusal to honor promised exit options have caused severe financial strain. Wyndham preys on families with false promises and unethical tactics. Stay far away.

Wyndham lied and instead of upgrade added 2nd timeshare!!

I was misled and lied to by Wyndham agent Angelica Paez Martinez leading to a purchase of a second timeshare obligation when it was presented to me as an upgrade of my existing contract. I was not aware of this deception at the time , as they explained I would be getting out of bronze status and moving to silver and I would have one timeshare contract and one payment and believed that this was a good investment. A few weeks later my daughter reviewed the contract and told me that I had been scammed. I did not upgrade into silver status from bronze. I was sold a completely separate timeshare contract for a resort in Atlanta. Instead of one payment, I was now on the hook for 619.41 each month for the new timeshare, but still owed 818.70 monthly for the original timeshare. This is a total of 1438.11 monthly, and comes out to $17,257 per year. I was lied to and bullied into opening a new credit card and charged $3900 as a down payment for an alleged upgrade to the existing Myrtle Beach timeshare contract, but it was a completely separate timeshare obligation. This happened 3/7/25 when I used my points to go to Orlando and was invited to attend a membership meeting as an opportunity to upgrade from my Bronze to Silver. I went to the first meeting and was pressured to agree to the upgrade but I was not going to pay the $3900 down payment on ACH, so agents convinced me to complete a credit application with Barclay Bank, telling me this would be a soft credit pull, but it was hard pull and my score dropped 17 pts. After I was approved for the card, the agents aggressively attempted to retrieve the new card number by calling Barclay on my behalf so they could charge me on the spot. Barclay refused to release the card number as this appeared to be a questionable and possible fraudulent situation—applying for a new credit card and then immediately trying to get the card number so that Wyndham can draft a $3900 payment. On 3/9/25 I finally gave in to their pressure

Extremely Disappointing Experience, No Flexibility, No Customer Care

I had a very disappointing experience with one other their hotels (Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Limburg)

I accidentally selected the wrong booking dates (17–18 November instead of 19–20 November). This mistake was noticed immediately, and I called the hotel within five minutes of making the reservation to correct it. Despite the fact that rooms were still available for the correct dates, the hotel refused any form of assistance, no date change, no solution, no flexibility whatsoever.

What makes this even worse is that I incurred €48 in phone charges trying to contact the hotel to resolve this issue. All of this effort led to nothing but a blunt refusal.

I fully understand that the booking was non-refundable, but this was a clearly documented, immediately reported human error. Any hotel that values customer service would at least attempt to offer a reasonable solution, especially when availability is not an issue.

Because of this refusal, I was forced to book another hotel at additional cost.

I usually have very positive experiences with Wyndham hotels, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This level of rigidity and lack of basic empathy is not what I expect from a brand of this size.

I would strongly advise future guests to be extremely careful when booking, do not expect any understanding or support if something goes wrong, even if you act immediately.

Dishonesty of the Travelodge by Wyndham Kissimmee/Orlando with Wyndham's complicity.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Travelodge by Wyndham Kissimmee/Orlando, located at 7475B W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy Kissimmee, FL 34747, with Wyndham's complicity, as they are doing nothing to return this amount, despite having been notified about a month ago, and have not returned the $50.00 (fifty dollars) retained as a security deposit.

I stayed at this hotel on November 28, 2025, and to this day, despite numerous and insistent requests for the return of this amount, which was even included in the credit card bill that I have already paid.

Wyndham Destin Timeshare: Predatory Sales Tactics Targeting Seniors!
I wish I could give zero stars. My husband and I are retired seniors (ages 68 and 71) raising our grandchildren on fixed incomes, and we made the mistake of attending a "vacation presentation" at Wyndham Destin in March 2025. What followed was one of the worst experiences of our lives. 
THE SALES PITCH FROM HELL: 
We were told this would be a quick 45-minute presentation. It lasted over TWO HOURS. We repeatedly explained we couldn't afford to purchase anything due to our retirement income and responsibilities caring for our grandchildren. Our sales rep Karla didn't care, she just kept lowering prices, bringing in managers, and piling on incentives until we were so exhausted and confused that we gave in. 
WHAT THEY PROMISED: 
We were promised extra vacations and additional points, all-inclusive resorts with no additional costs, and the ability to travel anywhere at any time. Karla assured us she would be our dedicated contact person to help with anything we needed. We were told we'd receive two informational books explaining everything. Financial rep Erika Bouck SPECIFICALLY told us canceling "wouldn't be a problem" and we could "simply call to cancel immediately at any time." 
WHAT WE ACTUALLY GOT: 
NOTHING but lies and harassment. When we tried booking a single night in Tennessee, Karla made excuses then completely ghosted us. When we called about cancellation like Erika promised, we were told it's impossible and to hire another company to sell it. The point system was never properly explained, we still don't understand what we bought. 
Then the sales calls started. Multiple reps contacted us to try to sell MORE points, wit in h one getting downright rude when we refused. Another spent an hour telling us our purchase was "insufficient for any meaningful use" and pressuring us to buy more. 
DO NOT ATTEND THESE PRESENTATIONS. Protect yourself and your loved ones from this predatory company.

Wyndham Hotel and Resort in Cancun




Wyndham Hotel and Resort in Cancun Mexico has rat-rodent infested kitchens, inside and outside. Over priced. Very dated rooms and decors, unclean, our sink in our room was clogged, despite repeated requests no one came to fix it. Front desk staff tried to scam us out of $5000.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Days Inn by Wyndham, Florence, SC
Now, you all know me. I only write a really BAD re iew when necessary, and this is NECESSARY! And I give you specifics so that you know Im giving you facts. I stayed Tuesday, Dec 16, 2025. My room number is #307.

1- the Front Desk person, LINDA, told me to bring down my dirty towels so that she could count them before she could give me clean ones! So, I had to go back up to my room, grab dirty towels in my hands, take them back to the desk, and then go back up to my room!

2- The tv remote stopped working and LINDA told me that I had to bring it down to her to get another one. I informed her that I was already in bed. LINDA said, "Im not doing anything wrong!" So, after going down to get a new one, I find out when I get back up to my room that IT DIDNT WORK! So, I had to go down AGAIN in my pajamas to get a 3rd one!!!

3-Then all of a sudden, a burst of "weed" smell came through my heater!! I called down and LINDA said that was coming up, BUT she NEVER did!!

4-And to top it off the tv screen has black lines on it when you turn on several channels! Plus, sone channels are very blurry. (Look at pics below). Also, certain shows do NOT fit the size of the screen! So, imagine watching a 40in tv but viewing a show inside the screen of a 19in!!

5- Lastly I figured youd want to know how DIRTY the carpet is in the hallways. It looks like it should have been changed 10 years ago!!

Not a good experience!

We accepted the opportunity to attend a presentation, but were treated very rudely when we decided not to purchase the plan. The "closer" was quite pushy, and actually made a rude comment, that we would never be allowed to attend another viewing of the plans! Not very customer friendly!

Scam disguised as family fun

We attended a timeshare presentation on Oceanside and were promised a 2-night stay. It is absolutely ridiculous on all the hoops you must go through to redeem. I've had to call multiple times to continue the process because the mailing address didn't exist to send the voucher to or the paperwork was never sent to me. I'm sure they do this on purpose so you give up and do not get the free gift. Beware and don't waste your time!

Side note - regarding the presentation, check their math. You are not saving money by owning a timeshare. The fees will NEVER end. Poor people don't read this, and the sales people try to avoid talking about it.

They lie!!!

I am writing to warn others about the deceptive sales practices I experienced with Wyndham Vacation Resorts. What began as a "free vacation" offer to the Florida Keys became a nightmare of broken promises and financial manipulation.
The initial "one-hour presentation" at Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando lasted 8 hours. I was passed between multiple salespeople despite repeatedly declining. Eventually, I was pressured into a discovery package promising access to any Wyndham resort for 12 months with VIP amenities. The "free vacation" I was promised still required me to pay for the entire trip.
When I attempted to book Bonnet Creek using my discovery package, I was told it didn't qualify and the package "no longer existed." I was forced to book an inferior property with limited amenities despite my supposed VIP status. During another mandatory presentation, I was coerced into purchasing a timeshare after being held for 6 hours while my children waited alone in our room. I only signed up to escape and return to my kids.
The deception continued post-purchase. The down payment I was told was "covered" was actually financed through a separate credit company which was never disclosed during the transaction. I was promised I could book anywhere but was denied access to Bonnet Creek, the property I supposedly purchased. Despite being told I'd never have to attend presentations again, attendance was mandatory every time I tried using the timeshare.
Other false promises: easily selling the timeshare (impossible), no maintenance fee increases (they increase yearly), and usable credit card points (worthless despite appearing on statements).
I've used this timeshare twice and now pay for regular hotels to avoid the high-pressure presentations that waste entire vacation days. This has been a major financial burden procured through dishonest practices. Potential buyers should be extremely cautious.

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR JOB

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! They literally stole points from our account and refuse to give them back. I had to call 5 different times and even spoke to the supervisor but nobody seemed like they knew how to do their own job. I very highly recommend going through a different hotel chain. Wyndham used to be great but they have went down hill bad over the past couple years

WorldMark by Wyndham: A Pattern of Deception
DO NOT TRUST THEIR SALES TEAMS.
Since November 2022, we've been victims of systematic fraud across three locations. Each time we were promised help or information, we got trapped in 4-6 hour high-pressure sales pitches with rotating salespeople wearing us down.
The Birch Bay Nightmare (October 2024):
We asked for help understanding our benefits. Instead, salesman Jason Wood subjected us to 5 hours of pressure despite us saying NO repeatedly. We had just lost three parents and our caregiving income. I explicitly told them we couldn't afford $1,398/month payments.
They invented a "flexible payment program" - claiming we'd only pay $200/month. They even had a fake "customer" (actually their sales rep!) validate this fictional program. NONE OF THIS WAS REAL.
They pushed us to rent out weekends through the Koala app to "pay off the loan" - telling us to hide this from WorldMark. They brought out whiskey in fake books to loosen us up.
The Financial Devastation:
Charged $1,398.71/month instead of promised $200
Paid $14,000 upfront under dishonest claims
When we tried to stop payment, Wyndham changed their billing name to bypass it
They stole 3 MORE monthly payments before we closed the account entirely
Case #02199829 has been "investigating" since November 2024 with ZERO resolution
Their "customer service" agent admitted the flexible payment program "was never a thing" and that Birch Bay lied to her too about why we used DocuSign.
This isn't miscommunication - it's organized fraud. Multiple locations. Multiple tactics. Same pattern. They prey on people's dreams of family vacations and exploit financial vulnerability.
We're destroyed financially and Wyndham doesn't care.

Sehr enttÀuscht

Sehr enttÀuscht, fÌhle mich abgezockt. Ich konnte nicht am Buchungstag anreisen, da unser Flug stoniert wurde und wir eine Nacht lÀnger auf Maui bleiben mussten. Habe das Hotel informiert und Beweis geschickt. Sind dann ein Tag spÀter angereist und das Hotel hat uns dennoch die verlorene Nacht belastet. Seit Monaten versuche ich es zu klÀren und zumindest eine Teil Erstattung zu erhalten. Nein, ist denen völlig egal. Unfassbar diese GleichgÌltigkeit.
Das Zimmer war auch nicht besonders. Waren mit Blick in einem Gangbereich, keinen Aussicht und mussten die VorhÀnge stÀndig zulassen, da man reinschauen konnte. Furchtbar! FrÌhstÌck war auch zu teuer fÌr das schwache und auch sehr ungesunde Angebot. Der Raum war auch merkwÌrdig, da die Fenster abgedeckt waren, also kein Tageslicht. Wirklich hÀsslich!
