Great service from the Sheffield store

Visited the Sheffield store - my first visit to a Bird & Blend store. I was not disappointed! The girl who served us was friendly, courteous and indulged me in smelling a whole range of teas before deciding on my selection. I was very impressed with the service and am now enjoying my Butter Toffee Popcorn Rooibos tea which is soooo delicious!!

Fantastic rebounder!!

I had bought a spring rebounder about 20 years ago and barely used, it but recently dusted it down and had another go. I found some great beginner workouts on Youtube and after about 8 weeks, decided that it was too small and it made a lot of noise. I also thought it didn't seem as 'good' as the ones being used in the videos. I took time to research and find the right rebounder for me. Everything pointed me to the Fitbounce Pro XL and so that's the one I went with. The ordering process was easy and the delivery was on time. I absolutely love this rebounder!!! After using the spring rebounder, it took a few days to get used to the new bungee cord and find my feet again. It felt like I was using different muscles. For instance, as I do the same workouts with Jump and Jacked, which incidentally is also recommended by Fitbounce, I've noticed that I can feel my glutes working and my quads are like jelly by the time I've done a 30 minute workout. It really is a pleasure to work out on this rebounder, and although I'm still a beginner and therefore doing beginner workouts, it feels more like a 30 minute dance session. You know you're working out but it's fun. I cannot believe the difference in my new Fitbounce Pro XL compared to the old spring rebounder and would definitely recommend this one.

Why employ a driver who can't read addresses?

Received an email and text and to say my parcel will be delivered within a certain time frame. Waited in the conservatory at the front of the house for 2 hours and never moved. Email received to say that my driver 'Mahmoud' missed me and so has taken my parcel. Calling card left and a photo of someone's house that is NOT mine!! The email received from DPD said that I didn't need to sign for the parcel but that a photo would be taken of delivery at my doorway. Well in hindsight if a driver can't even get the correct house, it's a good job he didn't leave my parcel, because from the photo I have no idea where this is. What a useless and diabolical service this is when a driver can't even read numbers to determine the correct house!! Now I have to put myself out and drive 5 miles to collect the parcel TOMORROW, because I can't trust that the driver will have learned to read numbers in the next 24 hours. What is more infuriating is that you can't speak to anyone at DPD about this. They simply aren't interested in hearing the customer's experience or maybe it's that they are so inundated with complaints, that they would have to employ a whole load of people to deal with them. The bottom line is that I paid for delivery and owing to driver incompetence, I didn't get what I've paid for and now I am paying more to fetch the parcel myself from a delivery point 5 miles away because I can't trust the delivery company to do what they advertise as their job. Absolutely useless delivery company!!

Fantastic service, but getting too costly

We've used Homeserve for years as we seem to have problems with our drains quite often although now that the bus company who live behind us, whose drains flow to the main street drains through our property, have moved to another part of the village, we no longer seem to require the service annually. The guy that attended this appointment was just fantastic. He attended alone, did everything himself and appeared to do far more than any previous engineers. He was very thorough in finding the blockage and did a proper job in clearing it. He was respectful of our property and to my husband and it was worlds apart from some previous experiences we have had with engineers who have blamed me for putting wipes down the drain - I do not use wipes, never have and never will, so this infuriated me. Previous engineers have told us we should just buy drain rods and do it ourselves - but, then you wouldn't have a job, would you? Can't praise this guy enough and hope that next time we do require the service, they send him or someone with similar work ethics. We are finding though, that now we are retired, the annual cost is getting too much and so unfortunately we may have to cancel at the next renewal

Awful company to deal with!

Awful company to deal with!
I have had car finance through PSA for my last 4 cars and they were great. All paperwork and anniversary statements arrived on time, no problem. Then Stellantis took over and it all changed. The last written communication I had was to tell me of the change in ownership from PSA to Stellantis and that I didn't need to do anything. My finance agreement was coming to an end June 24 and I knew this. PSA would always write to me reiterating my options and I would pop down to the Peugeot garage and source my next car. It has always been a nice experience. Not this time! No contact from Stellantis whatsoever. I went down to my local dealership for help, spoke to the owner who was as much use as a chocolate teapot in assisting me. Next thing I know, the balance has been taken from my bank without warning making me drastically overdrawn. Called Stellantis who told me that the paperwork had been sent Feb and April informing me of my options. I told them that I had not received either communication, clearly they didn't believe me. I asked them to send me the paperwork again and they checked my postal address was correct. Days later I still had not received any paperwork only to find that it had been sent online - why on earth did they check my postal address and then send online? By this time there was added interest on the account balance. I sent numerous emails of complaint to Stellantis and was being hounded daily by text and email - despite me asking them to stop contacting me until my complaint had been heard. I paid the balance immediately but still they hounded me. I called my bank to check the payment had been made and they told me the money was waiting for Stellantis to claim and the ball was in their court and they knew the money was there. This has completely put me off using Stellantis again and so both they and the Peugeot dealership have lost out on my next car purchase. I always knew the balance was due, but I was expecting the paperwork with my options - which I should receive. My complaint wasn't upheld despite the diabolical service received and so now I will complain to the FOS. I paid the interest this morning by phone and was spoken to by a very condescending woman who, once she had found my account, told me we were going to 'have a little chat'. It's fair to say I knew my finance agreement was coming to an end. I knew I had options and that there would be a balance due unless I took out further finance. What is diabolical is the customer service from this company.

Not a great experience!

We've stayed at the Euston Road hotel previously and had no issues at all. However on this occasion we were disappointed. On checking in the guy on the desk took a good 30 seconds to even acknowledge we were there in front of him. Only after my husband cleared his throat did the man grunt. He was busy on the computer, but knew we were there and could have acknowledged us whilst finishing his task. We didn't have the booking reference, which annoyed him intensely and he proceeded to take forever to find us on the system. Once found he told us we needed to pay for the room. I told him we had already paid. He called for back up. I proceeded to check my banking app and showed him we had paid. All this time, the man treated us like we were trying to get a free room and gruffly told us to wait in the lounge area. It eventually took 4 staff to sort it out. You can't even book a Premier Inn room without paying; you just can't and they should have known that. We also saw two other parties go through similar and be treated with rudeness - so unnecessary. We now know there was a technical problem with their systems which was removing the payment from bookings. We also know things go wrong with technology, but there is never any excuse to be treated like we were doing something wrong. Next time we visit London, we'll certainly think twice about staying at Premier Inn if we get treated like trash.

What a fantastic experience all round

What a fantastic experience all round. The website was so easy to navigate and there was a real person available to chat and answer my questions. Ordering was easy and the confirmation email arrived immediately. We were travelling to London and didn't want to take a cake with us, so looked for a service where we could collect a personalised cake after dropping luggage at the hotel. Our daughter recommended Lola's after a great experience and we weren't disappointed. I received an email to say the cake was ready to collect. On collection, the lady at the Kings Cross outlet was so friendly and nice. The chocolate fudge cake itself was delicious; very moist and not too sweet. I would definitely recommend this company because everything was so smooth.

Diabolical service

I understand from the Royal Mail website that the 'Tracked 48' means that deliveries will be delivered within 2-3 working days. However the reality is different! My parcel should have been delivered on Saturday 2nd September or by a stretch, today Monday 4th September, but on checking the tracking info, my parcel still sits in a hub waiting. It won't be delivered until tomorrow. That's too late. My parcel is a gift which should be given today. Other companies I purchase from have told me of the problems with Royal Mail and I didn't really appreciate that until now. Going forward, I will not purchase from companies using RM because you are clearly unreliable

Shambolic

Shambolic! Grumpy parking attendants with a bad attitude! We followed all the instructions given for arrival at Heathrow airport, which included the instruction 'Take a ticket at the barrier furthest to the right and follow signs for Off-Airport Parking' which we did. On arrival at the short stay car park we were told we had to pay for taking a ticket to enter the car park. We refused to pay extra because we'd already paid for the whole service in advance and if this was the case, we should have been made aware of it at the time of booking. The chitty we were given even said that staff take care of the ticket on arrival.
On return back to Heathrow, we landed on time and as soon as phones could be switched back on, we had 3 calls whilst going through passport control, from an aggressive attendant asking why we hadn't called to let them know we'd landed? He didn't seem to accept that we had only just landed and complained that we hadn't told them our return flight number. The booking system doesn't allow you to complete the booking without giving the return flight number!! We were on time and within the timings I gave at the time of booking. All in all an unpleasant experience and one I won't be repeating or recommending to anyone.

This is an update to the review I left a few days ago. A communication had finally been received after 6 days! The 'gift package' sent to my son was an email to 'Dear John' - I have no idea who John is, but my son is not called John. The message that I had written to accompany the gift is just wording in italics. It doesn't say anything about it being a gift, or what it is. It just says how to redeem. Honestly the incompetence of this company is unbelievable. You can't call as there's no number and they don't put a name to the email - probably because they are too embarrassed at their own incompetence. If you are booking tickets for this show (or any event) do not use KX TICKETS - you have been warned.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Purchased a gift package but only in the confirmation email does it say that it will take up to 5 working days to receive the gift. It’s by email for goodness sake! What can take 5 days?? Needless to say the birthday has been and gone and I still have no gift!! There is no number to call so email is the only contact. Emailed and the automatic response says they will get back to me in 3 working days. Wish I’d not bothered. Would never use this company again.

So disappointed!!

So disappointed!!! I will never purchase online again and wouldn’t advise anyone else to. Purchased two gifts. Asked for a message and gift wrap. Not only did they take an age to arrive, but neither were gift wrapped and the birthday message was written on the invoice!!
Absolutely diabolical. When you shop in store, they are amazing (Meadowhall, Sheffield) and I have bought many times because of the excellent service you receive. Shop online and it’s a completely different story. I am so angry right now because I’ve paid a lot of money and feel I’ve been let down badly. Now I have to go out and buy nice boxes and gift wrap and the gifts are already late. Do not use online!!!

Unbelievably bad service this morning…

Unbelievably bad service this morning at the Newark, Nottinghamshire store. Appointment was for 9.45am. Traffic was very sticky in town so at 9.43 I asked my husband to give them a call to let them know I was going to be a couple of minutes late; a courteous thing to do I thought. At 9.49 I parked up in Morrisons. At 9.51 I entered the store. The lady took me through all the paperwork and then told me I was too too late and the optician wouldn’t see me. She said they had a 10 minute leeway. She’d already acknowledged the call from my husband as I initially gave my name in. If I was within the 10 minute leeway why did she acknowledge my husband’s call, take me through all the officialdom to then tell me I was too late. Absolutely appalling!! It just doesn’t make sense. Mr Soar I will be writing to you shortly to complain

Shambolic experience!

Shambolic experience!! Made a purchase 6/1/18, eventually, after iPad ordering failed to work properly but didn’t have bank details on us for setting up 4 years interest free credit. No problem they said, you can do it online.
Tried to do this online and their is no facility to do this. Called several times but no one ever answers the phone. Tried the online chat several times but everyone is ALWAYS busy. Emailed the company and after 12 days, yes 12 days!!! got a one line curt email back saying you have to go back in store to set up the finance. No chance. I’m not travelling 70 miles to do this. I would not buy again from this company; they are good at sales but not customer service. Still on hold now after 18 minutes; must be all those customer complaints!! If they don’t answer in the next 5 minutes our order will be cancelled which is a shame as I love the chairs but haven’t got time for this Rubbish.

Called at 1.30pm for same day emergency …

Called at 1.30pm for same day emergency service owing to blocked drains in our office. Was told a plumber would be out before 4pm and charge would be £195 +VAT plus any parts required.
At 4pm, no sign of plumber so called the number again. They called the plumber who apparently said he was stuck in traffic. I reminded the Company that they advertise a 30-90 minute response and that he should have been here way before 4pm. The lady was very rude in her response. I asked if they would reduce the cost because to reflect their timekeeping, and was met with more rudeness, so I told them to cancel the call without charge!! Wish I had read the previous reviews prior to calling them initially as I wouldn't have touched them. If I get charged I will take legal advice as this Company appear to be doing this a bit too often!!

Disappointed :-(

I saw this company shared on fb and so decided to have a look. Their dresses look amazing on their website and the prices unbelievable. I placed an order for just two dresses to 'test the water'. Delivery was pretty good and on opening the packages the dresses both looked OK quality. (I sew abit myself and so looked at the quality against price)
However, on trying on the dresses I was very disappointed. One had such a visibly uneven hemline, dipping by at least 2 inches at one point compared to the remainder of the dress. The other dress was so low cut it was obscene! Not completely accurate to the pictures on the website! I guess you get exactly what you pay for. I'm not sure whether to give them another go... I'll let you know

Brilliant service!!

I found the website to be easy to negotiate and the ordering process very simple. Very impressed with tracking and next day delivery and my parcel arrived within the time frame given.
The goods were well packed and the quality looks great to me. However, as these are a Christmas present, I cannot comment on the fit of the jacket and jeans.
Overall, the service I received fills me with confidence that if the items are not suitable or don't fit, I will be able to return them without any hassle. I would certainly recommend this site and will return for further purchases :-)
