EE - Oh dear

I was moved from BT to EE without any consultation. At the end of the contract term I contacted EE to say I would not be renewing, despite this, they still produced another bill for the month ending the contract. I rang them again and was told this had happened because of a cross over? I've now received a final bill of £1.06 outstanding from the bill they issued after I ended the contract?
I feel that I have had a lucky escape.
Here is a tip for EE and BT - if you are in the communication business - make it easier to communicate - the rest of the world have things called "e-mails" - you should look them up!

Good customer service

I was helped today by a customer service person called Monalisa. I asked a question about my meter reading which was answered very quickly. They were friendly and professional.

Trying to link broadband and mobile to…

Trying to link broadband and mobile to EE account.
Tried online - error message directed me to call EE.
What an utter utter utter waste of time! 20mins waiting then put on hold for a further 15mins. I was told that the problem had been solved - it hasn't.
Apart from hanging endlessly on the phone - there is no contact method beyond going into a shop - if there is one near you. Apparently they are a communications company but without enough staff to answer the phone, no email contact, no online method for contact. Appalling - now off to Lebara

It's disappointing to read you've not had the best experience while attempting to link your EE Mobile and broadband accounts. We do have agents available 365 days a year to assist. It would be great to help turn things around and discuss what's happened further.

I was supposed to be switching to Talk Talk today from BT, just found out they cancelled my order for who knows what reason - but of course they didn't bother to tell me - only found out by accident. They are impossible to contact by phone, the chat bot options are rubbish along with the non existant customer service. All this bearing in mind they are supposed to be in the communications business.

Just beware - they don't actually provide an online quote - they will ring you, feels more like a company phishing for data.

Avoid if possible

Apart from not delivering the parcel on time and not updating the tracking facility (which is therefore useless), their online chatbot is a waste of space and of course there isn't a helpline. I don't think customer service is high on their agenda.
5 days on from delivery date, still no update on delivery time so I've cancelled the order - good job!

Overall good experience

The website is easy to navigate (please don't change to an app!) and the prices are competitive. Good communication on the day of delivery including real-time tracking and times of delivery. They also refunded half of the delivery charge as there was a delay on the expected delivery date.

UTTERLY USELESS - DON'T TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE

I FOUND OUT - AFTER WAITING IN FOR 8HRS THAT THEY WERE NOT COMING TO COLLECT THE PALLET.

APART FROM THE COST OF THE PALLET - IT HAS COST ME OVER 200 POUNDS IN LOST WAGES!!!!

I RANG THEIR OFFICE AT 9AM THIS MORNING AND I WAS ASSURED THAT THE COLLECTION WAS GOING AHEAD.

APPARENTLY THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY COMMUNICATION WITH THEIR DRIVERS OR THE PEOPLE THEY SUB THE WORK OUT TO?????

I HAVE NOW - SOMEHOW - GOT TO MOVE 160KG WORTH OVER A THOUSAND POUNDS - FROM THE EDGE OF THE PAVEMENT AS WAS STIPULATED BY THEM - TO SOMEWHERE SECURE OVERNIGHT

1 tyre fitted - not two - NO REFUND

I had booked to have two tyres fitted, when the technician arrived he said that I only needed one as the other tyre was fine and that he would arrange for a refund. As I did not hear anything (or receive a refund) I emailed the company but to date I have heard nothing - hence the one star review.

EON - irritating waste of time

Trying to contact EON now is next to impossible, they no longer reply to emails so your only choice is snail mail or hours hanging on the telephone.
I have to have a biennial meter reading for solar generation payments to continue to be made.
The company gives you no warning of the visit, even though they have phone, email and address contacts.
They start the process by sending an email (bearing in mind you can't reply to it!) saying they were unable to gain entrance to read the meter and that without the meter reading, the payments will stop. Bearing in mind we have essentially been in lockdown for 18 months so we know someone has always been in, and no card was left through the door - this is absolute rubbish. I tried sending an email to the old customer service address (which used to be useful) and it bounced back because they no longer reply - but it gave me a link to submit a photo of the meter for biennial readings - "at last a solution" I thought.
The link takes you to the generic login and no search of the site reveals anywhere you could submit a photo for your biennial meter reading. It does however list one phone number for customer service (oxymoron) which essentially covers everything they do - hence hours on the telephone.
EON have successfully designed a customer service system which systematically precludes providing any customer service.
The directors must be delighted - well done - enjoy the bonus this year.

I am sorry that you're having problems with this, it really should have been resolved for you.

Feed in tariff accounts are looked after by a separate area of the business and I'm sorry that you haven't been able to get through.

The number for them is 0345 301 4884 it may also be worth using the online form https://www.eonenergy.com/for-your-home/products-and-services/feed-in-tariffs/fit-contact

Excellent from start to finish

Excellent from start to finish, easy to use website, plenty of helpful tips, wide range of quality and price available. Confirmation emails on initial order. despatch and delivery date. Good quality product.
