I have made a few purchases from techinthebasket now. The IPad Air being the latest. The prices seem to be the best on the market. The products are brand new in the original box and are as described. Delivered safely and securely by DPD. You will get delivery, if it is a little delayed or taking longer than expected it is well worth it to save on the product your purchasing.

Nike Pegasus Gortex trail
I purchased these on line from Outlet Alley.
I purchased them in March but didn’t start wearing them until 6 weeks ago. They are not fit for purpose. I walk my dog in them on pavements and waggonway. The soles have lost their grip and are smooth. I contacted the seller who said they were out of the 60 day warranty. I contacted Nike who don’t want to know as they were not purchased directly from them. I have made lots of purchases over the years of Nike trainers. I have 3 teenage daughters who have the Air Force, Dunks, 95’s, Pegasus, Zoom and 270’s. We purchase 12-15 pairs of Nikes each year. It shouldn’t matter where I purchased them at the end of the day they are Nikes. They are genuine. The customer support did not exist and the attitude of the customer service agent was appalling. I have photos of the product to support what I am saying.

Engineer didn’t have the correct tools and used a claw hammer to extract screws from previous fitted plugs defacing hand made brick. He tried to hide it by fitting a different plastic cover.
Fitted fibre box without using a spirit level which resulted in the trunk cover leading up to it, then be on an angle, led to the home owner having to refit all the covers correctly. Was informed not to drill into bricks when first speaking to the home owner, and did so without informing the home owner!
Workmanship is rough as hell.
No shoe covers, ladders, covers for floors in the house. Didn’t have enough equipment or spares with him, and went Team Valley, couldn’t get the trunk cover there and proceeded to get a piece out the skip which was no good.
Proceeded to dig out a specialist purchased gap filler via Germany without informing the home owner.
Lack of training and rushing onto others jobs without tools and stores equipment.

Joanne at Gateshead was a delight and a pleasure to order with, very helpful and more than willing to go that extra mile. I would highly recommend Joanne to anyone looking to purchase any furniture. We had to wait a little longer for delivery of our new sofas from furniture village. The on line tracking service was a useful tool. I must say it was well worth the wait. Two Parker Knoll Large 2 seater Henley sofa’s.
The delivery was so professional and extremely efficient. Martin and Shaun were fantastic. Well organised and well prepared to deliver to our townhouse. First class delivery team. Really appreciated the time and care they took. Especially at the end of the day on a Saturday over the bank holiday weekend.

I ordered a few items in November 2022 as Christmas presents for my daughter.
One of them being a short brown dress. Living in the UK the weather has just picked up recently so she decided to wear the dress for the first time. Unfortunately there was a fault with the zip. It would only go so far up. We contacted White fox boutique to inform them of the fault.
They quoted their policy was returns need to be received in 3 months so basically they are not prepared to do anything.
We have ordered quite a bit from them as I have 3 daughters.
If this was a UK retailer o wouldn’t be having this problem. I find the customer service deplorable and they have the cheek to wish you a nice day with a smiley face.

Non fault accident ended up with the recovery team and solicitors being appointed to recover costs. My policy increased by £150. the date of the initial incident was 27th May. The repair was carried out in August. My renewal date was 6th November 2022. This was finally settled 2 weeks ago but the claim wasn't closed until 24th January. I was instructed to call for a requote of my policy as the claim was no longer outstanding and i would be due some money to be refunded. I have now called 3 times and been put on hold and passed through to customer service, renewals, claims and recovery department. i am no further forward as no one knows who should be dealing with this. After waiting so long I hung up.
I am now on the phone to Caitlin in customer service after waiting once again to try and resolve this.
I have had to chase this matter constantly for updates. The third party insurers contacted me and informed me of their acceptance of liability when the incident happened in May. Stupidly I told them I would let Hastings deal with the claim. What a total farce and ridiculous time scale to resolve. I have now been on the call for 30 minutes with no re quote as of now. I just know the refund is going to be something not worth having.......

Admiral client caused damage to my vehicle. My insurance company have sent the repair bill but Admiral haven’t settled the bill. My insurance company are now having legal representation to pursue a claim for costs so if Admiral don’t settle the outstanding repair bill by the end of the month court proceedings will be issued. I was called by Admiral initially after the incident to say their client admitted they were at fault.

I purchased a USB-C cable which was delivered promptly and of good quality.
Unfortunately it stoped working after a short while. It was obviously faulted.
I contacted mobilephone4u and I got a rapid reply and replacement. Fantastic customer service, no questions or quibble. Hassle free, I would certainly recommend them.

I bought 3 Michael Kors watches for my 3 daughters Christmas present. I had to get the strap altered so took it to my local Michael Kors shop. The have took links out of hundreds of watches. 2 out of the 3 watches I purchased had links taken out. The pin has dropped out so I went back they put it back in again and said if it comes out for the third time there is a fault with the strap. I can’t get in touch with JB watches. No reply to my email and nobody answering the phone. Had they ceased trading?
