I had a awful experience with a property called Fable Cottage in Bakewell. The property was very dirty, the hob didn't work, broken beds, dirty laundry and the bannister came way was I was walking up the stairs. This caused me to fall backwards and I sustained a bruise.This is dangerous. I immediately
contacted Booking.com, who have done nothing. They offered me a £20 refund on a property which cost £375, which I rejected. I have spent hours on the phone to the help desk based in the Philippines and sent numerous emails. No response. We stayed at the property on 17.11.2025
All photos were supplied, so the property couldn't deny the facts.
They have a duty to make sure their properties are safe. They are awful, please book with thier competition

Taken subscription without my permission
Please do not sign up with this company. I signed up for one month. Surprise surprise they deducted a second payment with out my permission. I contacted them no reply. I will be contacting the bank tomorrow report this as a fraudulent transaction.

I ordered two cushion covers and a throw. The cushion covers are great and good quality. The throw was very poor and really only good for decorative purposes, rather than warmth. I thought about returning the item but decided not too as I would have to pay £3.95 and find an Evri return shop... too much hassle. It's in the back of a cupboard now, which is shame.

The products are fantastic and I have been using them for 20 years. I ordered a product in error and returned it. They refunded the full amount and were great on the phone. Excellent customer service

I love the products and they smell amazing. Similar to an early review, I keep being charged for products that I don't want. The subscription isn't shown so you cant cancel it. This is the second time this has happened and I am now going to close my account as I don't want the stress of dealing with the customer service and being charged for products that I don't need .

I purchased over a period of a month 4 boxes of the half coconut shells. Every box had a defective shell with the loop missing so you can not attach a piece of string. When I emailed them, the attitude was " not our problem, go back to the retailer.
Clearly they dont care. I will not be buying this low quality product again

Fantastic service. I bought a mop in November and it developed a fault. I called customer service, who reminded that all products carry a 3 year guarantee. I took the mop back three hours later , expecting the promised email and new mop wouldn’t be there. On the contrary, the mop was there to be picked up and the remained of the guarantee continues.
How brilliant is that! Great company with excellent values. Well done.
