Daños graves en equipaje y nula respuesta satisfactoria â AerolÃneas Argentinas
Tuve una experiencia pésima con AerolÃneas Argentinas respecto a un reclamo por equipaje. En agosto de 2025, al arribar a destino, recibà mi valija con daños graves e irreparables:
Una rueda completamente desprendida, lo que la hacÃa inutilizable.
Parte de la carcasa rÃgida astillada y rota, dejando el interior expuesto.
Dos apoyos laterales rotos.
La valija quedó totalmente inservible y sin posibilidad de reparación, obligándome a reemplazarla.
Inmediatamente realicé el reclamo en el aeropuerto y me asignaron un número de gestión (con su PIR correspondiente). Luego recibà confirmación por correo electrónico de que mi reclamo habÃa sido aceptado para análisis. Sin embargo, tras semanas de espera, la única respuesta de la compañÃa fue ofrecer un monto compensatorio irrisorio, totalmente insuficiente frente al daño real y al costo de reposición.
Intenté resolverlo por los canales oficiales:
Defensa del Consumidor Argentina rechazó el reclamo sin fundamentos claros.
ANAC (Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil) jamás respondió mi presentación.
AerolÃneas Argentinas insistió en ratificar la compensación mÃnima, sin abrirse a una solución razonable.
El resultado: meses de trámites, cero empatÃa y ningún resarcimiento acorde al perjuicio. Me vi obligado a considerar organismos internacionales y eventualmente acciones legales, ya que la aerolÃnea no asume su responsabilidad conforme al Convenio de Montreal, que establece indemnización por destrucción o daño de equipaje.
Conclusión:
AerolÃneas Argentinas mostró absoluta falta de seriedad en el trato al cliente. No recomiendo viajar con esta compañÃa si valorás tu tiempo, tus pertenencias y tu tranquilidad.

Bought a premium ticket with a cancellation option.
Almost 3 years later and after countless emails â with repeated promises that the refund was on its way â still no payment.
To make matters worse, in the meantime their currency lost 80%+ of its value, turning a bad experience into a huge financial loss.

Ich habe einen Flug von Santiago nach Buenos Aires Abflug 16:45 gebucht. Die Abflugzeit wurde kurzfristig auf 21:35 mit Ankunft BA um 0:40 Uhr. Diesen Flug hÀtte ich bei vorheriger Kenntnis nicht gebucht.

- Hostesses were not speaking English, only Spanish.. How's that even possible in 2025? I must believe they were doing it on purpose..
- Food was a disaster too
We asked refund as our seats did not move, they offered $ 200 to spend on a future flight with them.
We paid $ 2.300 for each tickets.. no comment.
They closed the complaint after our reply of not accepting their offer.

Canceled Flight, Zero Help
One of the most frustrating airline experiences Iâve ever had.
After the airline canceled my flight, I was left with nearly â¬500 in additional expenses and a delay of two full days in my travel plans. That alone would be disappointing, but what followed made it worse: an almost complete lack of customer support.
I submitted a claim and tried to follow up via email, WhatsApp, and the website â only to find broken links and no meaningful response. I even reached out via social media, where I heard the airline is more responsive, but again received no helpful update or resolution.
I understand that cancellations happen, but the way this was handled showed a lack of accountability and care for the customer experience. I sincerely hope the airline takes steps to improve its communication and claims process.
At this point, I cannot recommend flying with them.
Disappointing Experience with AerolÃneas Argentinas â Poor Handling of Delays and Compensation
I recently flew with AerolÃneas Argentinas on a multi-leg journey, which turned into a frustrating experience due to poor handling of a flight delay and the subsequent lack of proper compensation.
On 28/02, I was booked on flights AR1783 (Iguazú â Buenos Aires) and AR1152 (Buenos Aires â Santiago de Chile). Due to weather conditions, my flight AR1783 was severely delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Santiago. As a result, I had to stay overnight in Buenos Aires.
This situation led to additional out-of-pocket expenses for transportation and meals, totaling 149,265.10 Argentine Pesos. Despite having all the necessary receipts and documentation to support my claim, the airline offered a mere just 12,600 ARS in compensation, which is not only insufficient but also completely unjustified considering the actual costs incurred.
I filed a complaint with the airline and provided all the required documentation, but the response was underwhelming. It felt like the airline did not take any responsibility for the inconvenience and expenses caused by the delay and the lack of assistance offered during the rebooking process.
Given that the delay was beyond my control, I expected a much more customer-friendly approach in terms of compensation. Unfortunately, AerolÃneas Argentinas did not meet basic standards of customer service, leaving me with significant financial loss.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend flying with AerolÃneas Argentinas. Their customer service and handling of compensation claims are severely lacking, and the overall experience has left me disappointed and frustrated.
Peor imposible y es la mejor
Mi vuelo salÃa de Madrid el 24/02/2025 a las 8,30 y llegaba a las 19,00 horas a Buenos Aires, 50 dias antes lo modifican y salà de Madrid a las 19,00 h, llegando a las 04,10 h. Me lo trastocaron todo y perdà un dÃa en Buenos Aires.
Solicite una devolución de pasaje el 10 de diciembre y me lo han ingresado a los 3 meses y medio, hace dos dias, con la penalización correspondiente.
Tenia vuelo Ushuaia Trelew, directo con una duración de 1 hora y 20 minutos.
60 dias antes del vuelo, lo cancelan y la unica opción que tuve fue coger un vuelo a las 9,20 h de Ushuaia y llegada a las 12,50 al Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, después salida a las 13,50 h y llegada a Trelew a las 15,55 horas. En Total 6,35 horas, en vez de 1 hora y 20 minutos.
Piss poor service and unreliable airline
I havent even been on my flights with this airline yet and I am already really disappointed. I booked my tickets 5 months in advance as i was planning my itinerary for Argentina and Chile. The times of my flights have been changed at least 10 times, which is annoying but fine. What is not fine is that my flight from iguazu to salta was suddenly not flying and the earliest they could rebook was 2 days later. I requested a full refund for that flight. It will be very interesting to see if ever i will recieve it. This changed resulted in the flight i had goin from salta to mendoza left salta before i even would have arrived, which meant this ticket was also useless. No refund tho, not even partial. Then again today yet anither flight from mendoza to santiago had suddenly stopped existing, which mean that yet another flight was ruined. They could provide at rebooking so I had to request a full refund again lets see if i will ever recieve it. I am so tired of their bs. Its an untrustworthy airline with piss poor service staff. Unreliable. I am so sad i have flight legt with this airline. Id rather support another.

Tanto la atencion en el check in como en el avion fue super bien. El avion bien "limpio" y asientos comodos. Un viaje excelente, gracias AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS.

Flying with them was good - on time, good flight. But customer service is absolutely terrible! Totally exhausting and time consuming to get any issues sorted out. Customer service representatives on the phone or via email are powerless to do anything except spout out scripted answers. If you buy a ticket and fly with them, I believe you'll have a good experience, but if there are any issues, such as cancellations that need to be resolved you just might be in for a very time consuming and frustrating experience. Even Flybondi, who don't have the best reputation as far as their flights being on time or being cancelled often, still do have much more reliable and efficient customer service communication.
