Price increase again on domains! they say some charge 40 plus true but others charge less than 30! Disappointed

Support is useless, waiting over an hour to get hung up on?
I have dozens of companies set up with them, not for much longer.
Website load times are getting worse also, steer clear.

I have been a black knight customer for 4 years ! I recently was involved in a car accident and was out of work for 10 weeks & lost a good friend in that car accident so was unable to return to work . Payment hadn't went thru from a change of card number . So they deleted my whole website and told me today they cannot retrieve my website. Not one phone call did they attempt , to allow me a chance , they sent automated emails , that were not read till today , but not one customer courtesy call after 4 years been a customer. This morning they took the month's payments missed , and called me later on to say my website was un - retrievable. Horrible to be dealt with this blow .. I feel this is their way of putting customers under pressure to re-develop a new online store with them.. Terrible company to deal with no loyalty what so ever to their customers.

They block Koreans for no reason.
They identified me as an "fraud customer" and blocked my access just because I'm from Korea. I didn't even get into the shopping cart page, let alone sign up. They're the worst. Never use it.

Fast and professional but no option to self host or move a domain no dynamic dns service offered - long story short registered a domain I'll never use! Reply:I either need a ddns or a static ip namecheap offer such service but cannot use a .ie domain or transfer only other option is to tunnel with cloudflare not ideal option for me. The middle of the road review is because as a modern "professional" service provider you think you would offer a ddns service like your competitors. And just for the record I would have no problem pay for sucha service.

Can't recommend Blacknight highly enough. LSS moving into new housing development and trying to install broadband but being fobbed off by other on site providers. One of which was my active provider. Officially a remote worker in Tech with servers based in UK, I was told to come back in 3 months! Contacted Blacknight who took the time to chase and organise physical connection (the final bit of wire into the house!). Now, a few days later, I am active with 1gb Fibre Broadband!! A huge relief and wholehearted gratitude to Noelle and her engineering team.

Avoid. Had to call three times to complete a very basic task. Transferred to another section who didn't answer the phone at all.
On my third call, was transferred to a somewhat condescending lady in Accounts on my third call.
Her only answer was I need to pay Blacknight money. Everything was my fault. She kept telling me I should have called another department, even though it I had been transferred to to her.

Not pleased with what should be a basic task

But could be better but I understand it takes time.

We have been using Blacknight for over 20 years for hosting and domains, their backend system is a bit outdated but they are in the process of upgrading it, we recently got support from them for a website migration, and they were extremely helpful.
Recently I signed up to NBI Fibre using Blacknight. From ordering to installation it was seamless. They contracted KN to do the install, installation did take some time, but that was no fault to Blacknight. When the install was completed, we lost connection about 6 hours later due to a connector issue, but Blacknight raised the issue with KN and another tech was out to fix the connector the next business day.

They sold me a 3 year contract in 2021 knowing perfectly well that the Windows service is beyond its end of life. As most normal people, when I'm planning buying something, I don't need a piece of a service or a product. But Blacknight brought my site down midterm and started asking for money for bringing it up again, they kept messing for several weeks in autumn 2022 and eventually refused any refund. Now I think it's time to get the Regulator involved as seniour people like Alan or even Michele seem to authorise, or even devise, such dirty tricks.
10-15 years ago it was a great company with a forward-thinking boss and what a shame it has all become now. Pity.

I've been using Blacknight for several years and had only good experience with them. They are not the cheapest one on the market but definitely one of the most stable and professional companies.

An efficient and well established organisation that proved me with all the information needed to complete the transition I needed.
