The assistance of the reservation…
The assistance of the reservation manager (Francesco) was excellent. One small flaw was that a gift voucher I had previously received could not be deduced from the reservation price because of some technical issue. But I'm sure the team at Boataround will find some solution to that. Bravo, and keep up the good work!

Solid Service
Boataround has a comprehensive list of available boats, was responsive and helpful. The agent that helped me, Akerke Kossay, was particularly helpful.
The booking process eas easy and the price was solid.

Very poor experience
Information portal for loading crew info was slow and problematic to access.
Getting information about charter was slow.
When had problem with charter local company Boataroind were slow and unresponsive, so had to sort everything out on my own.
Very poor experience.

Flexibilität bei Übernahme der Segeljacht
Ich hatte für 2 Wochen eine Segelyacht über Boataround gechartert, welche ich kurzfristig nicht übernehmen konnte. Durch den vorbildlichen Einsatz von den Mitarbeitern von Boataround war es möglich für beide Wochen einen Ersatz zu finden und mir dadurch die Kosten zurückzuzahlen.

Avoid if anything goes wrong
The skipper they arranged for our August charter out of Biograd was not the one they had put me in contact with, and nobody told us until check-in. He nearly crashed us into moored boats at a marina and couldn’t sail, but the real problem was Boataround.
On day two I called their support to report the incident and ask for a replacement. They promised to call back. They never did. I later found out they had already spoken to the skipper provider and had an answer — they simply never passed it on, while we waited near the departure port and lost our itinerary.
After the trip: two months of emails, a different operator every time, replies that ignored the points raised, and finally the line that Boataround is “just an intermediary.” I booked with Boataround and paid Boataround. When something goes wrong, they disappear.

Great chartering and impressive support
I have chartered through Boataround several times now. Each time, the experience has been great. The real pictures of the boats at the start makes a big difference.
Any time I have needed any support, they have been prompt, efficent and on the ball. Special thanks to Irvin Cortez for the recent super efficient support. Very much appreciated.

Good experience in Pula, Croatia
We chartered a boat in Pula, Croatia through Boataround for the first time. I had nothing but a very good experience with Boataround. I really appreciated the ability to view and filter hundreds of boats and also the ability to pay in two installments. I had a number of questions about the boat, which Boataround passed on to the local charter company, then returned the responses. When we arrived in Pula, the boat was ready quickly and all our contact from then on was with the charter company. We plan to use Boataround for our Croatia charter in 2027.

Unfortunately
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with Boataround. Upon picking up the yacht, it turned out the vessel was damaged. Repairs took until 11:30 AM the following day. This disrupted our sailing plans, forced the cancellation of a marina reservation, and so on. As compensation (following my complaint), Boataround offered only a €120 voucher valid for just 12 days.

web site showing boat availability not updating quickly. Looks like there is availability, even get a confirmation, and the boat is not available.

In the past I heard a lot of rumors…
In the past I heard a lot of rumors about their financial situation. It seems to be solved. All payments this summer have received the charter companies I booked with. So I booked a catamaran in the BVI for march 2027. As I like the clean look of BOATAROUND, I will use them further in the future.
