My insurance quote was better then the previous year.

Agreed at purchase I had 6 years NCB They later asked me to prove 9 years NCB to satisfy the policy. Phoned them to state we always agreed 6 years. In reality I actually had 7 years NCB so one year more than originally stated. The telephone operator put me on hold and then demanded at an extra £80 for the difference between 9 years and 6 years. I complained and reiterated we agreed 6 years. They then investigated our original phone call, apologised and admitted 6 years NCB and that no extra charges were due. Completely failed to acknowledge I had provided 7 years so where is my reduction in the policy total for the extra year? Quick to demand more money but immediately silent when a credit is due.

Quick response, very efficient setting up my insurance (and competitive). Very helpful and genuine - so nice dealing with a small company rather than being processed by a helpdesk!

Always answer the phone and are polite and personable. Documents emailed immediately. Not always the cheapest, but you get what you pay for....would always recommend.

Chris Knott really stands out due to the great customer service they provide. Their polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff are always accessible over the phone and offer a great customer care experience is exceptionally important to me. I have used them in the past on a modified car and am now using them again on my standard runaround. They found me car insurance with a great level of cover at an unbeatable price. I also have my home insurance with them.

Better rates for owners' clubs etc. The renewal emails were timely - giving enough time to check around if necessary. As it happens, the quotes seemed competitive making the brokerage fee a worthwhile outlay.
