Best price offered out of all the companies I tried. A quick k review of the car and the sale went through. Money was in the bank the day as the car was sold on a Sunday

It was easy to get a transparent vehicle estimate online ahead of time and a fair price for my car through selling to clutch.

I will say it was not a perfect progression especially with a problem from Carfax. After that was taken care of the sell went very smoothly. The gentleman that came for pick up of my truck was very professional knew his job and dealt with me as a person not an object. I will admit I was concerned as I have been taken advantage of and was concerned but everything was done professionally and with respect as me as a seller. The money was actually in my bank account almost the minute my truck left my driveway. So thank you Clutch for all you did you were more than fair to deal with.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hamilton location.

I brought my vehicle in after receiving an initial offer. During the inspection, they claimed there was damage on the roof and used that as the reason to reduce their offer by $1,500. However, there was no actual damage on the roof. What they pointed out was either a reflection or normal surface appearance, not a dent or structural damage.

I felt misled and pressured into accepting a much lower price at the last minute. It seemed like the condition of the vehicle was being used as an excuse to significantly reduce the offer after I had already invested my time and was ready to sell.

My advice is to get multiple quotes and strongly consider selling your vehicle privately. In my experience, the process was not transparent, and the final offer was far below what I believe was fair and they deliberately do that. Have observed fee others being scammed similar way just nearby as I was waiting. Stay away if you want an honest evaluation of your vehicle and fair price.

Dealing with Clutch.ca was a great experience. We got a firm quote from them, which was considerably higher than the car dealership offered us as a trade-in. Clutch.ca walked us through the process with clear instructions, and was very helpful and knowledgeable when we called them mid-way through the process. On final delivery, Clutch inspected our vehicle and gave us the full value they quoted initially. Highly recommend!!

I was very enthusiastic at the concept of Clutch as my experience at traditional dealers left a lot to be desired. In my situation I was buying a car and trading in a truck. Two things were very troubling when dealing with Clutch:
1. When trading in, Clutch assesses a market price for your vehicle and then deducts 5% for their fees. That is fair to me. What is VERY unfair is at the end of the purchase transaction you are forced to spend $1799 for a package or the won't let you use your trade in to offset the sales taxes. That package had stuff you may not have any use for. In my case it was a 6 month warranty despite the car I am buying still having 3 years of factory warranty. Also included a tank of gas, even though I am buying an electric car.
2) You MUST use their fintech partner Flinks to prove you have the money to complete the transaction. This means you must provide Flinks your bank's full login information (access card & password). If you give these details to any 3rd party and a problem happens, your bank will throw their hands up and tell you it is not their problem because you compromised your account security. I offered to bring a bank draft for the full amount to their office and Clutch said no. You MUST use Flinks.
Waiting to the end of the process to hit you with a big junk fee and then wanting you to hand over you bank creditials to their partner was very disappointing.

I did not complete the transaction.

This was a very easy, convenient and efficient process. All the customer advisors were very knowledgeable, friendly and well prepared. No haggling, no hidden charges like you get at a dealership. This was a great way to sell my car quickly and for good value.

They are friendly, quick, and better rates than everyone else!
