David and his team at Curzon Financial were exceptional throughout the whole process of obtaining our mortgage. Their expertise, guidance, and professionalism helped us secure the product we needed and ultimately, our home.

David Brown of Curzon Financial was very approachable, responsive and gave us the best advice when we were considering bridging finance to enable our offer to be accepted on a property we loved. Our current home had not gone on the market leaving us in a position not to be able to make a formal offer on the property as we stood. We spoke to several other brokers, but David provided the best value quotation, negotiated his fees down and explained all the hidden costs we had not thought about such as Second Home Stamp Duty, exit strategies, etc. He responded to all our enquiries swiftly often outside of normal office hours and at no time did we feel pressured. In the end we did not need his help with the bridging finance due to a very kind offer from my employer but in just over 3 months time we were back at his door needing his help to clear what our current mortgage provider of 15 years classed as a “high risk” loan. Within 24 hours David had secured us a great 2 year fixed rate with a major High Street lender, the application was seamless, with a decision in principle the next day and a formal mortgage offer with free legals in less than a week. Impressive to say the least! David was with us every step of the way, chasing the solicitors and guiding us all the way through to completion within 6 weeks. David took the stress completely out of the entire process and navigated us through what everyone from our Estate Agents, our Mortgage lender and family frowned at and said “ooh that's a bit risky isn’t it” to completing on our new dream home in just 2 months and being back with a regular mortgage with a High Street lender within 5 months following the sale of our existing property. I consider myself financially savvy and able to do my own research and reach my own conclusions. This is fine for run-of-the-mill stuff, but for less standard things, you really need a dedicated financial expert.

Great service with professional advice and really speedy results

Curzon financial are, I can genuinely say, the easiest finance company that I have ever dealt with. David has been great through our prospective house purchase with sound advice and clearly has an in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs and has a good relationship with a variety of lenders. David's advice in the early stages was nothing short of fantastic and he made us aware of costs to account for that other lenders did not make us aware of or washed over. Curzon financial are not pushy like other lenders and only contact when necessary, there is no hard sell. Just a good honest reliable lender.
If you need a mortgage or bridging finance etc I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Curzon and David.
