Disbelieved, poor customer service
Ordered three items, to which only one was delivered. I rung customer services, who stated they had carried out an investigation and determined that all items were delivered. I told them the bag used could not have fit 3 items in, however I have been made out to be a liar. Will never use again, nor would I recommend to anyone.

I bought this NCS badminton for a try, and found that it is pretty good, traveling very much same as feather shutters and last much longer.
Usually we use 2 Victor Master shutters for one session. The first one NCS lasts for 2 sessions.

i have not got my racket until now
i have not got my racket until now. Royal mail and direct badminton has betrayed me by saying 1 day delivery. so pathetic with delivery system. they come to my place. then i will get a email saying delivery attempted , but no response and will go back for past 1 week

Good company spoilt by poor Parcel Force delivery service.
Have used this company before and always found them reliable. Racket delivered eventually though can't endorse Parcel Force delivery service; not the best. So say tried to deliver parcel but no card left to say they had, very iffy.

Great racket at a competitive price
My son saved up to buy a badminton racket that was a better quality from his previous ones. He was really pleased with the wide choice available and it arrived promptly. The racket suits him really well (He had it strung to his requirements) and is a great step up from the one he had.

Strings broke in 5 days, poor customer service
Ordered the following rackets
Yonex Astrox 99 Play 4U5 Badminton Racket (White Tiger) £ 67.95
Yonex Astrox 88 Play 4U5 Badminton Racket (Black-Silver) £66.95
The former racket’s strings broke within 5 days of light use - I contacted customer service as “all their rackets have a 12 month warranty” but they clearly don’t stand by this as they want me to post it back at my own cost which Royal Mail have quoted £13.79 for, and Direct Badminton will only refund £3.99 postage costs.
Plus, once I send it back, they will take up to 21 days to assess whether their warranty covers this issue of broken strings.
Will definitely not be buying from this company again.

Thank you for your feedback. Snapped strings do need to be assessed in person in order to determine whether or not there is a manufacturing fault.
We offer a £3.99 contribution towards return postage because this reflects a standard delivery charge. We offer the same amount for all instances to keep the process consistent and fair for all of our customers. While some return methods may cost more, customers are free to choose the courier or service that works best for them.

Reliable company with great prices!
Want to buy something badminton related - Direct Sports is my second port of call. They may not be linked with BE anymore, but their prices are still cheaper than the company that is linked with BE even with their 5% discount!! 😂
I ordered a racquet and I love it. It turned up in perfect condition.
I've used this company since they were Direct-e-sports and I have no complaints.

Ordered one size too small, and they exchanged both top and bottom to one size up quickly and easily.
Just wish returns were free like most places!

Need better packing
Everything went well but my racket was received hanging out of the box (handle first) no bubble rap or anything similar to protect it. A bit more tap on the box and the handle wouldn't of come out the corner. That is the only bad thing to say, the postage was on time and the racket is amazing! thank you.
