Yet again the delivery driver thought it acceptable to simply leave my parcel outside my front door without knocking or ringing the doorbell. This was a cardboard box containing an item that could have been ruined had it got wet. Fortunately I discovered it shortly before it started raining. This is certainly not the first time this has happened. I wonder whether the drivers are acting under instructions or simply can't be bothered.

Where do I start? Notification to say delivery will be Monday - delivery is delayed. Tuesday - delivery expected 7am-10pm, delivery delayed. Wednesday - driver ran out of time! Thursday - notification to say sorry we missed you with a photo of a house that wasn't my house!! Friday - notification to say sorry we missed you with a photo of a black screen!! I've been in waiting at home all week!!
Absolutely awful company that lies and customer services are useless. Avoid at all costs if you can.

After being told by text my parcel had been delivered and signed for when it hadn't,I called the company only to he met with a rude obnoxious man who told me I had to ring sky and sort it myself,I Hope the driver didn't take this parcel as these people are supposed to be trusted

Another DPD delivery, and yet another delivery guy who rings the bell, takes a photo ( what does this prove other than he’s dumped it on the doorstep? ) and sprints back to his van without a backward glance.
No attempt to read our instructions on the app. as to where there’s a safe place to leave parcels or, heaven forbid, actually knocking on a neighbour’s door and requesting them to take it in.
DPD used to be brilliant but they are now my least favourite courier and I actively avoid buying from companies that use them.

Unless you have a minimum of 2 days to wait for a driver do not use this delivery service. Following a non collection...again... I have received 2 phone calls telling me to expect a phone call but no response to my original question about when my collection will happen .If you need a parcel collected book it elsewhere or take up knitting

Can this company get any worse.
We are use to having parcels dumped on our door step without any attempt to ring the door bell, but now delivering parcels that are not ours and just dumping them on the first doorstep they come across. Customer service is the pits

the driver said he attempted delivery despite me sitting in the window next to the front door. I tried online chat half way through they disconnected me.

Rather than attempting another delivery, DPD have started leaving our parcels at a post office two towns aways.
Not in our local post office, or even the post office in the next village!
We need to drive three miles, and pay to park, to collect a parcel that cost £6 to have delivered!
A pointless service, not fit for purpose.
No doubt DPD will rebrand soon like other failing courier companies in an attempt to outrun their poor reputation.

Horrid company, always tell me they will deliver and don't.. just now i had a msg. Minutes away and then another saying we missed you.. i mean ffs i have clear instructions if im not in where to leave it and i AM IN!!! id rather deal with yodel..worse delivery company going

Can't get to speak to anyone regarding a parcel, absolutely terrible!

Sick of these delivery drivers leaving parcels on the doorstep when instructed to leave with neighbour if I'm not home.

Terrible service. To be waiting for a parcel between 16.15 and 17.15 to then recieve a message saying I wasn't home and calling card left. No calling card left and photo was black. They didn't even try to come to my property. Totally shocking service.

Paid £7 for delivery, wasn’t to be signed for. Parcel not left, no calling card either to rearrange delivery, email stating it was now being taken to local DPD collection. Miles out from where I live, contacted DPD chat, rude response as this is their policy if no one answers they take it to a collection point? They chose to ignore the ‘no calling card left’ disgusting the amount I paid for delivery and they can’t even be bothered!

This company covering from the Lincoln depot should be put into administration and closed down. They are the worst delivery company I have ever used. They claim they have a lack of drivers. Well Evri, Amazon and Royal Mail don't, perhaps no one wants to work for such a useless company. Their Lincoln depot has 6000, yes 6000 parcels backlogged they told me yesterday and ours are food for our animals which is perishable and lasts 48hrs and they won't allow people to go there and pick up their parcels. Shocking. DPD you should be ashamed. Proprietors, companies avoid this crap company like the plague. They do not even check for ID to make sure it is given to the right person! They just leave it at your door or hand it over (in my case they once gave it to a 10year old boy And I only tracked the parcel down hours later as recognised the house photo in my village so the driver did not even check the photo I uploaded via your useless app) Amazon and Evri please take their business from them. Resign Lincoln managers you are useless.

The poor customer service team tried to help so I cannot fault them but you cannot ring the depot direct it all comes thru them and they are based in South Africa!

I cannot comment for the rest of the country or other depots DPD serve but for the Lincoln depot that serves a large area over to Grimsby where I am I would say avoid this company like the plague.
PS if you are going to tout using your 'wonderful' app here is a tip, UPDATE IT REGULARLY OR IT IS A WASTE OF MY PHONES BATTERY.

One of the worst service I have ever received In the UK. I use to believe this guys are best in market but they really don't care about your time.Dpd made me wait for my parcel for the whole day & there is was no update in the app about the delivery.I have tried to reach the CS support and they keep saying CS is trying to reach the depot and CS couldn't give me a time of delivery.

In the delivery instruction, it is clearly written "we will deliver at your address. IF no one is at home, we will use your safe place". Well, I was at home waiting for you.
The concierge has several hours of processing time, and the parcel was extremely urgent. Why doing this?
Every day I have to deal with DPD is more and more frustrating, hands down the worst delivery company in the UK.

Have to say DPD is not the easiest of companies to contact to get things sorted, their contact number uses AI and links your number to the DPD reference you enter and all you get every time you call is the status of the shipment but no option to speak to an agent.
Why the 4*s?
Well, I contacted DPD using 'Resolver' and within minutes their Executive Desk came back to let me know they'd contact the depot and have the parcel addressed to be delivered to me.
Same two days later when I followed-up to confirm that indeed the parcel was scheduled for delivery to me.
DPD Emersons Green depot went the extra mile to sort out my mistake refusing delivery of the wrong parcel - they could have so easily returned it to sender under the circumstances. #Aces!

Terrible company totally as unreliable as Hermes.
Difficult who to use other than Royal Mail.
B&Q sent me a text last week stating DPD would deliver today at. Got text from DPD confirming delivery for today!!?
Checking tracking number which states they have not recieved the goods from B&Q.

Terrible delivery. Package was marked fragile but was damaged and packaging ripped. Would not choose this company again. I am surprised Amazon use them.

Absolute Disgrace. These people do not care about service one bit, they send txts with delivery windows and then try to deliver at a completely different time. Note there is no way to speak to anyone at DPD because they are cowards and do not want to speak to their customers, try chat on-line and my queue position has been 7 for over 2 hours i.e. it's a fraud!! Do not use these people stay well clear.
